Katy Perry performed her hit song "Hot 'N Cold" for Sesame Street that was supposed to air for a New Year's special. However, reports surfaced today that her cameo got pulled because she wore a dress that exposed too much cleavage, which was deemed too scandalous for children. A Sesame Street spokesperson said: "In light of the feedback we’ve received on the Katy Perry music video which was released on You Tube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of Sesame Street, which is aimed at preschoolers." So, what dress caused the trouble?
We found it!!! The lime green dress is by British designer Giles Deacon, and it's from his spring 2010 collection. The dress features sheer fabric on the cleavage area and a silver bow at the center of the neckline. For the runway, Giles Deacon actually put a spider in between the model's cleavage for a styling addition, so maybe he wanted the attention there! We actually liked the dress on Katy Perry and thought she looked pretty good in it! But what do you think?
