The biggest thing to happen to cinema OF ALL TIME (Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2, natch) is just days away, so to keep up to snuff with Wizarding World, MTV Style counts down which Harry Potter characters' closets we'd most like to raid.
So far, we got psyched on Fleur Delacour and the green goodness of Rita Skeeter, but as we enter the final three, we have to give love to the dark side of Bellatrix Lestrange, and the incredible Helena Bonham Carter.

No one is more unabashedly evil in the Harry Potter-verse than Voldemort...but a close second comes Bellatrix Lestrange. Gleeful at pain, insane with her devotion to the dark arts, she's a terror—but we have to admit, whenever Helena comes on screen, we get a little excited. Maybe it's because her personal style is dark and wild, like Bellatrix's, but for days that call for something a little witchy, drawing on your inner Bellatrix (minus the torturing and killing) may not be all bad.

We certainly aren't going to recommend Azkaban rags, but the messy layers of this black silk dress (remember, she is aristocracy) do the whispy, air-tousled thing without looking afright. Never does Bellatrix actually wear hoops of skulls, but we bet this would suit her just perfectly. And while Helena took a heeled approach, running around casting hexes on platforms might be too difficult, so we like the edge provided by these spiky, evil flats. Of course, nothing is more Bellatrix than her bird's head skull necklace, so we like this one by indie designer Blood Milk.
For her dried, stained lips, stay matte with a berry-colored lipstain. Though her nails were shiny black, this "crackle" effect nail polish would give her the same dilapidated look she so adores. And while we imagine Bellatrix's hair to be filled who who-knows-what (and split end central), do crazy curls via hydration, making sure they get the conditioning they deserve. (Hey, we aren't ACTUALLY Miss Lestrange. While we are on the subject, do you think she and Voldemort were ever a thing?)
