It may be the weekend, but Fashion Week stops for no man let alone something so subjective as days of the week. This Saturday, the stars came OUT. I'm talking so many gigantic DROVES of celebs, swarming all the hottest shows from Prabal Gurung to Helmut Lang to Charlotte Ronson. Manhattan is absolutely teeming with well-heeled paparazzi bait like Glee megastar Lea Michele, Teen Wolf actress Holland Roden, and the always-beautiful Jamie King, and we couldn't be happier about it.
Nothing lights up our faces quite like photo after photo of impeccably styled and coiffed flashbulb candy. You see, we go to these shows, we see these ladies and gents IRL. And don't get me wrong, it's every bit as track-stopping, but it just doesn't last long enough. They're with us for so few, fleeting moments in which all we can process is the next question we're going to ask or the caption to the next photo we're going to Instagram, and we never get to fully admire the ensembles and beauty looks so artfully assembled and paraded around this fine city of ours. Right there in our very midst. Treading the same pavement. Hairspray battling against the same humid air.
