We has really started to think Justin Bieber was finally peeling himself away from his go-to "black jacket + black pants + gold Supra Skytop IIs" "Boyfriend" outfit. We saw him venturing into other colorways of varsity jacket, even some glow-in-the-dark fabrics. We couldn't see his feet in the Believe promo photos, but we crossed our fingers that he was wearing a new pair of kicks with that appliqued jean jacket. And then this happened. Bieber tweeted the single art for his newly released "All Around The World", and he's back to the same, formulaic ensemble. Only this time, he's added an "accessory" guitar.
I mean, this is basically the exact same outfit he wore for his premier performance of "Boyfriend" on The Voice, minus a few extra gold studs. Same metallic gold Supras. Same onyx trousers. Same double breast pocket, black denim jacket with leather sleeves, this time, with subtle studding at the epaulet. Justin merely adds a guitar slung over his shoulder and a nearly unseen butt-pocket scarf. It's no doubt a great look on The Biebs. There's no fighting that. And we totally get that maybe he's just following a new mantra of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." HOWEVER *clears throat and raises pointer finger defensively*, call us greedy or expecting too much or whatever, but for a dude we grew so fond of applauding for being sartorially adventurous (Hullo, Fonzarelli hair and blue MCM jacket, remember me??), we're just a touch disappointed by the sudden style stalemate.
