We'll admit that we're a sucker for a REALLY good fashion campaign, and when we laid our eyes on Mulberry's fall 2012 ads featuring our fave fashion model Lindsey Wixson paired with furry, over-sized forest dwellers, well, our hearts exploded. Mulberry Creative Director Emma Hill used "visions of explorers, mysterious stories and fantasy travels" as inspiration for the shoot, which was photographed by Tim Walker. But, um, is it just us or does this TOTALLY remind you of Where The Wild Things Are? We're kind of loving this ode to one of the best children's book ever (RIP, Maurice Sendak ), especially with the addition of Ms. Wixson frolicking in the forest sporting jaw-dropping ensembles. I mean, a head to toe tangerine ensemble? Yes, please!
Here Lindsey snuggles up with one of her furry friends in an autumn-appropriate brown and orange tweed belted cardigan over a double breasted jacket ensemble. Also, it comes with a matching purse. WE DIE.
In another look, Lindsey sports a black fur coat with gray brocade dress and shaggy fur skirt, but, personally, we can't keep our eyes off the lamenting monster in the background. To check out the rest of the campaign, head on over to Mulberry.com!
