Between recording her new "adult-sounding" album, going blonde(er), and sporting some new ink, Miley Cyrus has been all about trying new things lately. Proving her adventurous streak isn't quite over yet, this week she took one of this season's most divisive trends- overalls- for a spin in real life. Designers such as Rachel Comey, Chloe, and Altuzarra showed dungarees on the Spring 2012 runways, and the onesie has already invaded fast fashion retailers like Forever21. But instead of sticking with the original farm-inspired silhouette, Miley went retro with a denim jumpsuit from Anthropologie.
The brand's Sharlene Halter Jumpsuit is outfitted with a sweetheart neckline, a fabric belted waist, and flared cut. The girly, '70s-inspired ensemble is a change from the Miley we're used to seeing running (er, skateboarding) around L.A. in yoga pants and American Apparel cropped tops, but we're giving her major props for tackling the trend. What do you think of Miley's denim jumpsuit? If you want to copy the look, score your own at Anthropologie.
