We don't know what it is, but the dudes are getting ALL up in our fashion world these days.... and we're definitely not complaining. Already this week, Jason Schwartzman sharpened his design chops, Zac Efron flexed his muscles for denim, and now it's Adam Scott who's channeling his inner Derek Zoolander in the new issue of Maxim. The Parks & Recreation star is sporting some of Fall's newest menswear looks alongside a variety of woodland creatures- because, why not? This is Adam Scott we're talking about, you guys, so he can do WHATEVER he wants. In this case, it means wearing academic-meets-outdoor swag from Ted Baker, Gant, and Tommy Hilfiger. Oh, and he's dishing out fashion tips like there's no tomorrow- so guys everywhere, take note.
As much as we'd love to imagine that Adam and fellow Parks &Rec funnyman Aziz Ansari go on male-bonding shopping trips together, Adam dispels the notion to the mag- but even so, he says that they DO talk about fashion. He says that he keeps an overstock of Band of Outsiders shirts in his closet because "they make me feel secure," but says that he'll never be caught dead in a scarf or a fedora (Adam, we knew we always liked you!). And if you ask us, the actor totally pulls off the "college professor goes on a camping trip" vibe of the shoot, decked out above in a J. Lindeberg Hopper Jacket, a pocket square (!), a Ralph Lauren cardigan, Gant shirt, and Levi's skinny jeans....and sharing the spotlight with a scary-looking bear.
Lastly, Adam Scott has a word for all the guys (and girls) out there who sport sunglasses inside: "When you walk inside, take off your f*cking sunglasses. Just sayin’, take ’em off." Noted. Smart, hilarious, AND stylish? We know that you're not going shopping with Aziz, Adam...but on your next mall trip, can we join?!
