The Obama family celebrates the presidential victory in Chicago.

Alright, so we all know that last night's election was really all about Barack Obama. And it should be! He IS the newly re-elected Commander in Chief, and all. But the President wasn't the only one killing it onstage in Chicago, since the girls in the family brought some serious fashion A-game. Michelle is already a style icon on her own, looking stunning per usual in Michael Kors — but if you ask us, we think Malia and Sasha deserve a shoutout of their own! Both clad in knee-length tulip skirts (shimmery blue for Malia, green printed for Sasha) and dark tops, the First Daughters worked these totally cute, totally holiday season-appropriate outfits perfectly. So can you really blame us for dying to copy them? Um, no way.
Malia's election night outfit shows just how far the 14-year-old has come since when her dad first took office back in '08 (click here if you don't believe us!). The teenager has swapped that bright red dress for a chic pleated blue skirt, black t-shirt, and pink belt. Recreate the look for yourself with Topshop's Cobalt Ribbed Pleated Skirt ($68), a basic dark tee — Forever21's version is under $10 — and JCrew's hot pink belt. And ok, we know that Malia chose bright blue earrings to rep the Democrats, but no matter your political affiliation, Kate Spade's stone version ($48) will go with pretty much anything.
It's crazy to think Sasha was still a little kid when her dad took office, but last night the 11-year-old showed everyone she has a definite style of her own. Cop her printed green skirt with the Gryphon "Claudia" Skirt ($200), snag a light gray cardi from American Apparel ($40), and throw on a tie-neck blouse from G-Star ($130). You might be able to recreate her neon layered necklace with a similar version from PacSun, but her so-happy-your-cheeks-hurt smile? That's priceless.
