Rihanna knows it's December. She knows the northern hemisphere is in the middle of winter right now. But is that stopping her from sharing her upcoming Spring/Summer collection collaboration with River Island? Nope. Not one bit. And if you think she stopped after giving everyone a first look at that RI suede jumpsuit yesterday, you're wrong. The "Diamonds" singer Instagrammed a picture of herself posing alongside a few models (one of them being the lovely Miss Jourdan Dunn!) after wrapping the shoot for her upcoming ad campaign.
From just one photo, we're learning a LOT about the #RIHverisland collaboration. The biggest takeaway, of course, is that we're getting to see a few more pieces from the Rihanna-designed range. There are denim cut-offs, color-blocked t-shirts, sheer midi skirts, tank tops of all shapes, and sizes and chunky sweaters. This sneak peek hints that the forthcoming collection is most likely Rihanna's take on '90s grunge meets streetwear which ALSO means we'll most likely be buying every single item.
Rih's caption, too, reveals that the shoot took two days, was directed by the Barbadian beauty herself, and that the campaign was shot by Mario Sorrenti (a.k.a. the man behind Rihanna's nudie pants GQ magazine cover). We're BEYONCE excited to see how the collection unfolds and what the final ad images will look like, but we have just one complaint. All this teasing and still no release date? Give us a light at the end of the tunnel, Rih!
