When Karl Lagerfeld isn't busy crafting custom dresses for Rita Ora and recruiting musicians like Frank Ocean for intimate Chanel showcases, don't expect to find him kicked back on the couch catching up on ABC Family reruns. In classic overachiever fashion, this is a man who clearly DOESN'T do well with free time, and his new collab with Melissa Shoes is pure evidence of that. Not that we're complaining or anything, because that just means there are more Karl goods for the rest of us! Take the designer's new Melissa shoe collection, for example. We first tipped you off to the plastic kicks back in December, and now they've finally landed! The Kaiser and the rest of his crew fêted the Kollaboration (yep, that's the name) in New York last night, where everyone got to peep *those* ice cream high heels in real life.

With four styles total— "Incense" with the ice cream motif, "Ginga" with the curved kitten heel, gold "Glam" flats, and "Melissima" Mary-Janes— plus colorful details, these plastic shoes are pretty much guaranteed to stop traffic, rain or shine. Plus, they're scented, and we hear each and every pair gives off a fruity whiff. Not word on how long the scent lasts, or what happens when the inevitable wear, tear, and sweat comes. But, uh... all the more reason to check out the collection in person?
