Let's all give a round of applause for Carly Rae Jepsen, who DOMINATED the Juno Awards last night in more ways than one. Not only did the singer take home three trophies total from the annual Canadian music ceremony (Album of the Year, Pop Album of the Year and Single of the Year!), but she ruled the style game as well, sporting a handful of very different looks throughout the night. Carly kicked off the evening on a seriously bright note, matching the yellow carpet in a sunshine-y sleeveless gown. Embellished with jewels along the neckline, the dress's high-low hemline shows off the pop star's legs and her white heels without becoming a full-on mini, making the mullet cut possibly the perfect seasonal transition piece. Plus, thanks to simple touches like her black and white patent clutch and a side fishtail braid, the entire look simultaneously reads lowkey and glam. After all, who says you can't have it both ways?
She may have started the night out girly, but the pop star edged things up she hit the stage, swapping heels for black creepers and tights adorned with— safety pins?! We already know that Carly has a thing for statement legwear, but these thigh-highs are NEXT level. Did the tights come with the pins in them? Did she DIY? How exactly do you put them on without ripping? (So many questions...) She paired 'em with a white sequined wrap dress for "Call Me Maybe"...but before you knew it, untied her dress mid-performance to reveal this black tank and graphic shorts ensemble for "Tonight I'm Getting Over You." Carly's quick change artist steez is eye-popping enough as is, but the MOST impressive part of her whole switchup is the fact that she somehow managed to slip back into her original dress just in time to accept her awards. Talk about coming full circle!
Which of Carly Rae Jepsen's Juno Awards looks do you like best?
