While the rest of the world is still reeling from her jaw-dropping VMA performance, Miley Cyrus is keeping it moving. Miles spent last night shooting Mike WiLL Made It's upcoming music video, "23," in Brooklyn. If you haven't heard any of the track yet (AND being that, currently, Miley and Mike are 20 and 24 years old), this isn't akin to Taylor Swift's age-anthemic, "22." Instead, judging from the behind-the-scenes wardrobe that Miley revealed via Twitter, the double-digit numerical song title refers to G.O.A.T. NBA legend Michael Jordan.
Upon closer inspection, though, the song is less about the hoops icon and more about his namesake sneakers. A flyer shopping for video extras asked that anyone interested wear their favorite pair of Jordans. Still, the red, white, and black color palette of Mike's Chicago Bulls is pervasive throughout, from her cut-up MJ jersey (which has been repurposed into a bra and high-waisted hot pants) to a similarly silhouetted outfit featuring a pair of white bike shorts with a black trompe l'oeil thong detail. And suddenly, that white-with-red-nails foam finger Miley was flailing around on the VMA stage is starting to make a lot more sense...
