Haim have always seemed like they’d be a blast to hang out and play dress up with, and now, we have confirmation of that, thanks to a recent shoot with The Coveteur. While our favorite sister-rock trio was getting ready to attend Chloe’s show at Paris Fashion Week, the closet photo blog captured the group’s wardrobe, provided by the French fashion house. Even though we usually see Haim in cut-off shorts, booties, and leather jackets, the band wears polished tailored pieces just as well. And, if you ask us, Chloe and Haim are pretty much the perfect pairing of sensibilities. They both have an enviable laid-back cool.
If you’ve seen Haim’s video for “If I Could Change Your Mind,” you won’t be surprised to learn that the band stuck to a black-and-white palette for their PFW appearance. Alana wore a look that her style icon Katherine Hepburn would have loved, a delicate, white lace, short-sleeved top with black leather pants, black mules, and a very covetable two-tone clutch with gold arrows. Danielle kept it low-key in a pair of wide-leg pants, a studded black clutch, a pair of black wedges with a mirrored heel, and Chloe’s take on a hockey jersey, an oversized white tee with stripes and lace sleeves. And Este did her thing in a white dress, blazer, and T-strap heels.
As usual, their hair looked flawless and we now know the secret behind their iconic long locks: Davines hair products. *googles Davines, adds every item to the cart* The group also revealed a few of their other go-to beauty products—Mario Badescu Skin Care, and Miss Marisa perfume—and their favorite places to shop: Acne, Mohawk General Store, Rita’s Rags, Reformation, Opening Ceremony, and Isabel Marant. But our favorite takeaway (aside from their hair care regimen, of course) is how Alana would be spending her time if she wasn’t in a band: "If I weren't in music, I'd be doing nail art. My favorite nail color is 'Blood Red Wine.'" Um, can we please get a Haim nail-art kit stat?
