Floral on floral.

We’ve been working overtime lately to keep up with Lady Gaga’s new looks, but we might be finally catching a break on our fashion math because Lady Gaga’s latest obsession is a familiar one: florals. Gaga’s flowery kick started at her Roseland Ballroom residency when Gaga, never one to miss a theme, accessorized with lots of flowers—there was her Botticelli flower crown look, her “flowers can be clothes” nude-suit look, a purple rose ode to Prince, and the list goes on. But lately, Gaga has taken to ornate retro prints that would make your grandma’s couch jealous.
Yesterday, Gagaloo made the internet think she was pulling an April Fools' joke when she walked around in a relatively tame floral outfit. She wore a pair of high-waisted, white tropical floral pants with a black top in a matching print, her hair long and straight, and accessorized with a pair of Saint Laurent oxfords, sunglasses Terry Richardson might already own, and a black Birkin bag.

But as it turns out, it wasn’t a joke—Gaga just really likes her florals—because today she wore a similar, William Morris-esque print, this time on a long-sleeved white dress. The whole look brought to mind Gaga’s teacup phase as she teetered around in sky-high nude pumps with mirrored round sunglasses, a pair of white gloves, and a gold rose. Classic Gaga—always keeping us on our toes!
