It's no secret that one of our favorite parts of any awards show is the nail art. We even had our own nail-art cam at the MTV Movie Awards. Yeah, we're serious about nail decorations, which is why we enlisted the help of nail-art genius Miss Ladyfinger to show us how to recreate our fave looks on our nails. And let it be known, she didn't simply remake pre-existing nail art for us—she translated outfits into nail art. This is big stuff, you guys.
One look from the show that we want on our nails ASAP is Rihanna's Hyein Seo performance outfit, which Miss Ladyfinger helped us achieve. Peep below for a GIF tutorial and get paintin'! (She painted this art on herself, BTW.)

First, paint all of your nails using Revlon Sheer Sweetie. The iridescent white base provides a uniform surface for your text, but doesn't distract from it.
Next, drop some polish onto a piece of aluminum foil. Two to three drops is probably sufficient—you can always add more, but if you have too much you will suddenly have red polish on everything you own. Trust me.
Using a thin-tipped brush and Revlon Red, paint the letters on your nails. You're going to define the letter later, so the bigger and boxier these red shapes are, the better.
Then pool some Revlon Pure Pearl on your aluminum foil, being careful it doesn't mix in with the red.
After you've cleaned your brush, dip it in the white polish and go over the red text blocks. You're going to want these letters to be thinner, so take your time. Starting over would be a huge bummer.
Then, put a few drops of your final Revlon color, Dreamer, on your foil.
Using the same brush, paint the light blue over the white in even thinner strokes. As you can see, Miss Ladyfinger does short strokes, which makes it easier to avoid mistakes.
Ta-da! Your nails not only match Rihanna's steez, but encourage others to fear you. A winning combination.
