Unless you've been living under a rock the past couple of months (or somehow managed to miss the whole Instagram boat?), chances are you're already well-versed in the total and absolute coolness that is Dimepiece. After all, we first called out the Los Angeles-based streetwear label last fall, when famous face Cara Delevingne snapped herself wearing lots— and we mean LOTS— of these rad athletic-inspired pieces backstage during Fashion Week. Since then the brand has cropped up on Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, and supermodel Jourdan Dunn, and is swiftly integrating itself into pretty much all of young Hollywood's closets. And why shouldn't it? Dimepiece has an easy, wearable vibe, practically oozes attitude, AND designers Ashley Jones and Laura Fama are exactly as awesome as you'd hope. We got proof of this when we grabbed coffee with the co-founders and longtime friends yesterday during their brief visit to Manhattan, where they spilled on the company's humble beginnings, cult celeb fan base, and their strategy for getting their duds on Beyonce. Get the scoop below!
Forever 21 wants you to get social with 21st Street.

Dear Forever 21, are you guys reading our minds or something? But seriously, though! The affordable fashion giant first picked our brains back in the spring, debuting campaigns with some of our absolute favorite singers-slash-style phenoms (Sky and Cassie, we're looking at you!). Not to mention, we can count on the brand to stay on top of the trends, mere moments after they've left the catwalk. Now the F21 crew has tapped into our style sensibilities yet again! This time, it's taking one the most integral parts of shopping— showing your friends what you just bought, duh! — to the next level with 21st Street. The new platform just debuted today and encompasses pretty much everything we love about hitting stores with our friends...all under one digital roof.
All the goods from'The Bling Ring' x VFiles capsule collection.

Happy Monday, everyone! And no, we're not even being sarcastic. In fact, we're still coasting off our Bling Ring high from over the weekend, and hopefully you are, too, since Sofia Coppola's Hollywood heist flick finally saw its New York/Los Angeles release on Friday! We've been ALL over this movie (much like Emma Watson & co. were all over Paris Hilton's shoe closet, heh) ever since we first got wind of the early production stills about a year ago. Now, the promo has officially come full circle, thanks to VFiles and its new Bling Ring capsule. The e-tailer/video company/all-around creative hub has just debuted a collection of products inspired by the movie. Stocked with jersey short shorts, patterned nail wraps, and Ring Pops, this set (which is packaged like a police evidence bag) pretty much covers all the bases.
Real talk: it's hard not to get depressed while looking at the weather forecast, you guys. We know that SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) normally applies to the wintertime, but considering how soaking, sopping, and downright muddy the summertime has been thus far (at least on the East Coast), this nonstop dreariness is seriously taking a toll. BUT you know what? Instead of succumbing to the temptation to sulk about the rain, it's time to make the most of it, starting with—duh, where else?!—your closet. So whether you feel like braving the storm, catching up on Netflix at home, or denying the grossness outside all together, here are 3 stylish ways to beat June Gloom until the sun comes out again.
FACE THE ELEMENTS
Beat the storm straight-on in these rainy essentials.

If you're the adventurous type (or just want to duck out for a coffee), stay dry with these super cute rainy essentials. The bright yellow Urban Outfitters slicker will add a dash of sunshine to the gray everywhere else, and you can never go wrong with classic forest green Hunter boots. Then again, if it's not a total downpour, we also love Loeffler Randall's rubber leopard booties, since they're one of the few styles that don't look embarrassingly out of place once the rain stops. Herschel's classic backback lets you free up your hands for the ultimate staple: your umbrella.
Styles from Vans Fall 2013 collection.

Vans is no stranger to rad collaborations, adorable lookbooks, and even some pretty awesome DIY action (hi, Macklemore!). However, despite debuting platform skate sneakers last season and having its toes consistently dipped into the fashion world, there's ONE trend the brand has held out on...until now, that is. Behold, the Vans sneaker wedge! Proving that the hidden heel really IS the trend that just might go on forever, the athletic giant is rolling out two new styles for Fall 2013. So whether or not you're a fan of the hidden heel yourself, there's no denying the staying power of the wedge sneaker. After all, they're comfy, they're versatile, and, in the case of the solid color Vans Sk8-Hi Wedge and the Leopard Print Sk8-Hi Wedge, they're still injected with that signature Vans sporty swagger.

Rick Owens: he's the mastermind behind hauntingly beautiful runway collections, has made cameos in more hip-hop lyrics than we can possibly keep track of, and even supports rising music talents like Zebra Katz. Yep, we're talking about a true Renaissance man here, y'all. But while we're used to seeing the designer (who's known for his distressed leather, his drapey cuts, and his mostly-black color palette) exploring his style game OFF the catwalk, now he's stepping out of these glamorous shadows and into the...gym? Yesterday WWD reported that Owens is joining forces with Adidas on sneaker collections for both men and women, giving the athletic brand's shoes an unexpected dose of gothy edge.
Lucy Hale for mark.

Let's be real: given her dramatic brows, huge hazel eyes, and killer charisma, it was only a matter of time before Lucy Hale nabbed herself a beauty campaign. And ta da, here we have it! Yesterday mark announced that the Pretty Little Liars star was the newest face of the Avon boutique brand, following in the footsteps of fellow mark girls like Ashley Greene. This means we can ALL check Lucy out in the campaigns, "magalogs," and on the mark website starting in August, just in time for the company's big 10th anniversary. We already know that the beauty world looooves Lucy (and why wouldn't they?!) but turns out the admiration is totally mutual. The actress says she's been a makeup fan since pretty much day one: "Growing up, when my grandma was taking a nap, I'd go into her makeup drawer and put on her red lipstick," she spills in the behind-the-scenes video. "So I'd be running all over my grandmother's house in a pink tutu and makeup all over my face!" Now THAT'S a sight we'd give anything to see.
Rita Ora steps out in the new 3.1 Phillip Lim "ORA" boot.

Between her irresistible get-up-and-dance sound, her constantly evolving style, AND the fact that she's one of the only people we know who can pull off a "YOLO" jacket, Rita Ora already has more than enough bragging rights to make us jealous. But thanks to Phillip Lim, the U.K. pop star has landed yet another. The New York designer has just rolled out a new style of boot called "The ORA," named after none other than Rita herself! Alongside Lana Del Rey, Alexa Chung, and more recently, Carly Rae Jepsen, the "Radioactive" singer has officially joined the coveted ranks of design muse. Not a bad place to be, huh?
Taylor Swift at the CMA Festival press conference and onstage.
Her daring CMT Awards performance looks miiiight still be fresh in our memories, but our girl Taylor Swift showed her softer side yesterday at the CMA Music Festival, dressed in not just one but TWO girly ensembles. Prior to performing, the singer spoke at the event's press conference decked out in a sleeveless floral dress by Dolce and Gabbana. Adorned with white lace details and flower patterns, the frock is quintessential Taylor: sweet, classy, and totally chic. She kept things simple on the beauty front as well, with shiny hair and rosy cheeks. Definitely a stark contrast from her nude Elie Saab number from earlier this week, right?!
