OK, so this just has to be said: when we laid eyes on Zac Efron's new Flaunt magazine cover, the first sounds out of our mouths WERE NOT ENGLISH. They weren't even words! It was more like, "Ohhahhhooowhat?" and it took everyone in the office a full five minutes to recover from this little episode. We're telling you this slightly embarrassing recollection because a.) it's true and b). it's proof that Zac, with his 5 o'clock shadow, his groomed (but not too groomed) coif, and his baby blue eyes gazing dreamily off the page, STILL possesses an inexplicable magic power over us. No matter how old you are, no matter how awkward you might feel, there's no denying it. Embrace the hotness that is Zac Efron! After all, it's really nothing new. But whereas most recently we saw the actor put his glistening muscles on display in John John Denim's campaign, for the April issue of Flaunt he does a complete 180 and shows his softer side.
Dakota Fanning works pink ombre hair this week and in 2012.
Photo: Splash News
Colorful ombre hair was THE beauty trend of summer 2012, with fans like Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and Dakota Fanning riding this rainbow wave throughout the season (and inspiring everyone else to do the same!). But while Demi and Sel may have reverted to more natural shades after a few weeks, Dakota's clearly still feeling her pink hue from last year— so much so, that she's brought it back! It's hard to believe that it was last January when we first spotted the Very Good Girls actress showing off her dip-dyed watermelon locks out and about in Los Angeles. Keeping the rest of her hair a natural blonde, this ends-only approach gave the star an effortlessly edgy vibe that's wearable enough for everyone too nervous to go all the way. In other words, this 'do is an image practically cemented into our memories, so it's no huge shock that this recent snap of Dakota working an identical style naturally caused a double take.
There are about a zillion and one reasons to love Emma Watson, but we've just found another: the British actress has received the 2013 MTV Trailblazer Award! Although the actual MTV Movie Awards ceremony itself isn't until April 14, Emma's ahead of the game, nabbing the Golden Popcorn bestowed upon the star with the most diverse performances. Just like last year's recipient Emma Stone, Emma's proven her chops with wide-ranging roles, like high school dream girl Sam in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, wardrobe assistant Lucy in My Week with Marilyn...and who could ever forget her breakout as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter? The 22-year-old has traveled lightyears away from her frizzy-haired, bushy-browed debut, and with a lead in Sofia Coppola's forthcoming flick The Bling Ring, her star is still continuing to rise. Emma's a total pro at the style game as well, rocking consistent red carpet hits and fronting campaigns for Burberry and Lancome. So to celebrate her newest honor, we're rounding up some of her most trailblazing outfits!

Disclaimer: before we dive in, it should be noted that it was really hard to narrow down all of Emma Watson's amazing ensembles into one neat and tidy list. But it had to be done, so here goes. Emma's a complete master at the art of the short formal dress. After all, who really needs a ballgown to make a statement these days?! From that glittery gold Burberry dress she wore to the label's runway show in 2009 to the Marchesa mini with encrusted sleeves at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards to the bow-embellished Valentino from a Lancome event, cocktail dresses have never looked so cool. Rather than rocking something predictable, she repped by emerging designer Brood in a white one-shouldered statement piece at a screening of Perks last year.
Thanks to her soulful breakout singles like "Wildest Moments" and "Running," by now everyone should be very well acquainted with the vocal powerhouse that is Jessie Ware (if not, get schooled here!). But something else that you should know about our latest Artist To Watch is that the London singer has an elegant style that perfectly complements her honey-smooth sound, and this is why we're naming her our newest Rising Style Star.

Proving that you don't always have to OD on glitter or rock rainbow wigs to necessarily make a statement, Jessie sticks to low-key red carpet staples with a quiet power. One consistent thread running through many of her outfits over the past year is not-so-basic black, like that effortlessly cool crop top number by Miu Miu she sported to this year's BRIT Awards. The bedazzled sleeves lend the outfit a touch of opulence, the flash of midriff gives it edge, and the long skirt keeps the look from swaying too far into belly dancer territory. Something else we've noticed: the 27-year-old tends to choose long, ankle-to-floor-skimming silhouettes, like the white floral embellished dress she wore to the BRIT Awards nominations and the sophisticated cut-out gown she rocked at the Mercury Prize Awards. There's no denying that Jessie has impressively mastered the formal fash thing in record time, but when she's NOT collecting prizes left and right (which is becoming rarer and rarer these days), chances are the singer has slipped into her off-duty uniform of tailored pants and classic blouses.
Rita Ora and Karl Lagerfeld in Monaco.

Sure, you can hang out backstage at the Chanel show all you want (in our dreams!) but how do you know you're REALLY tight with Mr. Karl Lagerfeld? Well, if you happen to Rita Ora, that would mean winning bragging rights to a dress designed by the Kaiser himself! NBD, right? Rita performed at the suuuuuuper fancy Bal De La Rose Du Rocher event in Monte-Carlo this weekend, decked out in a burlesque-inspired dress custom-made by the Chanel designer and making a serious statement at the sold-out event. She tweeted an image of the sketch a couple of days ago, saying "Tonight's attire. Designed by Karl Lagerfeld called the The Ora. Fashion it does the craziest things sometimes. #wow #Chanel #fukwatevaitisyourdoing Hehehe #werowdy." Rita, we hope you've saved the sketches in a gold-plated frame for all of posterity, because THIS.IS.MAJOR. Also, the fact that Karl dubbed the dress "The Ora"?! Here's another hashtag for ya... #Jealous.
Kristen Stewart at 2013 Kids' Choice Awards.
Photo: Getty Images
It's been a minute since we last heard from Kristen Stewart—and after dealing with an injured foot at the Oscars, girl probably could've used a break! So needless to say, we were psyched to see the actress out at tonight's 2013 Kids' Choice Awards, turning heads in a major way. Dressed in a navy blue shorts outfit designed by Osman Studio, K.Stew looked KILLER, that much is obvious. While we all know she can rock floor-length gowns like a pro, and it's also a well-publicized fact that she loooves to go cas in sneakers and a t-shirt, the cool thing about her outfit here is that it actually straddles the line between the two. Part off-duty K.Stew and part ultra-glam movie star, these easygoing shorts plus classic black pumps are the perfect combination. It's not the first time she's eschewed a dress for shorts at events, and the leggy look is a formula that obviously works.
Selena Gomez on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon'.

• Selena Gomez accessorized her Antonio Berardi dress with a mustache on Fallon this week, and looked SO adorable, we can barely stand it.
• WHOAWHOAWHOA HOLD UP. Does Beyonce's killer Shape magazine cover mean that belly rings are back?!
• Mary-Kate and Ashley stans, let's all take a moment and obsess over this awesome/weird/totally twin-tastic merch.
• So... is anyone else battling the urge to horse around with Miley Cyrus in a unicorn onesie this weekend? Join the club.
• Justin Timberlake twerks in a turtleneck (twerkleneck?) in his new "Mirrors" music video, and we're not even mad.

Carly Rae Jepsen performing this week in Paris wearing Pretty Polly.

Here's the thing about Carly Rae Jepsen: the Canadian singer might be a pop sensation, but she's one whose onstage wardrobe stays firmly planted in the realm of "totally and 100% wearable." And that's not a bad thing. As much as we'd love to THINK that we'd wear Rihanna's leather crop tops or one of Lana Del Rey's vintage-inspired wrap dresses out and about, the chances of that actually happening regularly are slim to none. Carly's easy sensibility is one of the many reasons why we've been eyeballing the musician very closely while she's on tour overseas, and we've started to notice a pattern (thanks Instagram!). Think statement jackets, wild denim, and TONS of tights. While we're used to seeing her in basic black, though, lately she's been switching it up with a polka dot pair, and we're in love.
MK&A stan swag? You got it, dude.

Long before The Row, Elizabeth and James, and *those* $55,000 backpacks, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were just a pair of chubby-cheeked babies selected to play the joint role of Michelle Tanner on the '80s TBS sitcom Full House. Yep, these girls got their big break at the ripe age of 6 months—and unless you've been living under a rock for the past, oh, 26 years, we DON'T have to tell you about the pure superstar insanity that's happened to the Olsens since then. Dozens of movies, stacks of CDs (who could ever forget this?!), and enough MK&A branded merch to fill an entire '90s kid's closet...which, in my case, it totally did.
