Taylor Swift Sparkles In Silver And White On 2013 Grammys Red Carpet And Stage

Wow, talk about coordination! We first swooned over Taylor Swift's glittery J.Mendel gown when she stepped onto the Grammys red carpet earlier tonight, but LITTLE DID WE KNOW then that this wasn't the last we'd see of the pop star glittering in silver and white. In fact, just moments later Tay swapped out her Grecian dress for a glam ringleader-inspired ensemble when she opened the awards show with "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." Maybe she loved her EMA performance outfit SO much, she wanted to repeat the look? Instead of bold red sequins like last time, though, tonight Taylor kept things light in a long white coat, white shorts, and a white top hat adorned with sparkly silver embellishments. It's almost like she's rocking out in a really glamorous circus, and we're all invited to the show — so let the theatrics begin!

Rihanna Sizzles In Custom Alaia At 2013 Grammys

Did Rihanna adhere to the CBS Grammy dress code?! Her custom Alaia gown is slightly (or very) see-through, depending who you follow on Twitter, which means she's probably breaking those "no nudity" rules that the powers that be issued earlier this week. But still, we've gotta admit: despite the sheerness, tonight Ri played it slightly safer than we expected. Proving to everyone that old fashioned glamour is sometimes really ALL you need to make a statement, the singer swapped out lowcut gowns of years past for this cherry criss-crossed frock. Pairing the custom piece with cascading ombre locks and bright makeup, leave it to Rihanna to show it's totally cool to coordinate your lipstick and nails with your gown (and the red carpet).

Taylor Swift Goes Grecian In J.Mendel At 2013 Grammys

Ladies and gentlemen, Taylor Swift has ARRIVED! And man, did she make an entrance. The singer (who's opening the Grammys, by the way) looked the epitome of a Grecian goddess in her white J.Mendel gown. The fluttery pleated floor-length number is a continuation of Tay's recent "adult" style evolution, hot off the heels of that other white gown with a similar plunging neckline from the People's Choice Awards (which, coincidentally, was ALSO by J. Mendel). But tonight she's taken the new look one step further with not only a deep V, but also silver-embellished cutouts and a high leg slit. The pop star miiiiight not be crossing the Grammy dress code line here, but we gotta admit: this is one of the most glamorously grown-up looks we've seen on Tay yet.

2 Chainz Channels Dracula In Versace At 2013 Grammys [Video]

2 Chainz, is that you?! We know, we know. We all just watched the rapper hit the Grammys red carpet mere minutes dressed in a VERY high fashion ensemble— Versace, to be specific. But is it just us or is everyone else sensing some major vampire vibes radiating off of this entire look? From his oversized cape (with blood red lining, natch) all the way down to the vintage gold baubles and statement belt, the similarities are undeniable: 2 Chainz is TOTALLY channeling Count Dracula! We're thinking he's leaning more toward the Halloween costume-inspired vampire muse (like the photo above) rather than, say, Edward Cullen. But when you consider this is the guy who regularly inserts fashion references into his lyrics, not to mention raps about Versace regularly, this decidedly blinged-out vamp look weirdly makes complete sense.

Breaking Down Miley Cyrus' Pre-Grammy Gala Outfit

The 2013 Grammy Awards don't officially begin until later tonight, but luckily for our caffeine-addled brains, Miley Cyrus is giving us plenty to talk about until then. In case you haven't noticed (ahem, see above), the singer rocked a black Emilio Pucci ensemble to Clive Davis's Pre-Grammy Gala last night in L.A. for a result that's so jaw-dropping, SO eye-popping, that we could literally sit here all afternoon and break it down for you, piece by piece. And that's exactly what we're going to do. So let's start with the first impressions: the singer chose to ignore the recent no sideboob rule (more power to you, Miley!) in her sultry sheer black gown designed by Pucci's Peter Dundas that flashed some major skin. Risky? Yeah, but this is a Cosmo cover girl we're talking about, you guys, and if anyone can pull it off...well, Miley can. This two-piece gown—there's the minidress with a serpent motif as well a see-through overlay— comes adorned with tiny little rings across the top. Oh, and see those black Versace leather over-the-knee boots peeking out from underneath it all? Va va voooooom!

Rodebjer's Fall 2013 Presentation: A Swedish Fairytale Soundtracked By The Cardigans

Even if you aren't familiar with Rodebjer quite yet, you soon will be. The Swedish label is gaining traction stateside in its own right for trademark strong silhouettes, luxe materials, and a sense of everlasting ease. Part of this timelessness has to do with designer Carin Rodebjer's upbringing —she grew up in the Swedish countryside— and her rural childhood had influence yet again on the Fall 2013 collection. Taking cues from her home on the island of Gotland, the slouchy trousers, oversized sweaters (with a knitted fringe!), and breezy chiffon dresses came in a color palette of nature-y hues like mud, hazelnut, and raw umber. In other words, these cozy-cute clothes were the perfect complement for the snowy Nemo aftermath happening outside...if we could've worn them straight out off the runway, trust us, we would've.

Rebecca Minkoff's Fall 2013 Fashion Week Show: Futurism And A Performance By Wild Cub

When a band has the models dancing backstage at T-5 minutes til showtime, you know good things are gonna happen when the curtain rises and the real show finally begins. And that's exactly what went down at Rebecca Minkoff today, when Nashville duo Wild Cub singlehandedly transformed the final runway prep into a groovefest— makeup artists, stylists, and photographers included. After all, the New York designer is no stranger to recruiting bands to spice up the traditional catwalk soundtrack (she's had Theophilus London and THE GOASTT perform in the past), but felt that Wild Cub's clap-happy pop vibe particularly resonated to her Fall collection. "It's one of those weird things when you don't know if anyone is ever actually listening to your music, but Rebecca contacted us a few weeks ago and said she's been playing it in her office," frontman Keegan DeWitt told us. "She said it worked great with her new collection." Rebecca was right. As Keegan and bandmate Jeremy Bullock performed their single "Thunder Clatter" while models paraded in leather separates, pinstripes, and holographic accessories, this music-fashion collision was THE epitome of effortless cool.

We interrupt our New York Fashion Week coverage for a very important message: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHLOE MORETZ! The teenage movie star (who can now officially drive, congrats!) turns the big 1-6 on February 10, but she celebrated early last night at a Sweet 16 bash in New York City. Thrown in conjunction by Teen Vogue and Aeropostale, the event was a stylish collision of ALL of Chloe's worlds. This is a girl who has MANY slashes to her day job as actress— she's the mag's new cover star and the brand ambassador for Aeropostale. Needless to say, everyone turned out to celebrate Chlo, including famous pals like Victoria Justice, Holland Roden, and Sarah Hyland. The birthday girl had the most enviable outfit of everyone, dressed in a powder blue Chanel frock under a cropped leather motorcycle jacket and accessorized with a bag by the French fashion house. Um, HOW many teenagers can say that they wore Chanel to their Sweet 16?! (Answer: not many).

Kimberly Ovitz Fall 2013 Fashion Week Show: Nature Goes Dark

From the models' twisted, tightly woven hair to the graphic print dresses to the leather, sheer, and layered separates, the message comes across loud and clear: you don't want to mess with the Kimberly Ovitz girl. "She's a confident strong woman that believes less is more," the designer told us before her show today at New York Fashion Week. "She can be edgy but also minimal." In other words she's tough AND and effortlessly cool, a quality which also spills over to her enviable wardrobe. "This season is all about natural defense mechanisms," Kimberly explained of her Fall/Winter collections. "I looked to animals and insects and their innate protection systems; there's lots of layers which are inspired by shells, a lot of vivid colors inspired by nature, and the result is very dangerous looking."

California label Wildfox Couture is a Young Hollywood wardrobe staple— stars like Vanessa Hudgens consider it their off-duty uniform— so when designer Kimberley Gordon decides to stage a runway show in downtown NYC, her famous fans follow. Proving that even (really cute, really comfy) t-shirts can still warrant a spot in Fashion Week, last night's The Great Gatsby- inspired presentation showcased Wildfox's comfy tops as well sequins, Americana shorts, and tops splashed with trademark Gatsby phrases like "It was just a dream," and "Daisy." While the models worked the goods (including a new collab with Michelle Siwy!) on the runway, attendees like Vanessa, Victoria Justice, and Ashlee Simpson rocked the collection off the catwalk. And all of this happened BEFORE New York band Chairlift ended the night with their Valentine's Day single, "I Belong In Your Arms."
