Kristen Stewart, Amanda Seyfried, And Sarah Hyland's Hair Stylists Tell Us How To Recreate Their Looks For Prom!

We've already loaded you up on tons of dream dress inspiration this prom season, from the wallet-friendly frocks to splurge-worthy options, but you know what? Let's take a break from gowns for a sec because now it's officially time to talk hair. If you think about it, there's no better place to get prom hair ideas than from the red carpet. After all, these two events actually have a LOT in common: the search for the perfect dress, finding comfortable-but-still-chic shoes, and the inevitable time spent in front of the mirror getting ready. The only difference between us and Hollywood's "It" list is the fact that they have a team of experts helping them primp. But because we love you, we tracked down the masterminds behind some of our favorite red carpet hair looks this season from Kristen Stewart, Amanda Seyfried, and Sarah Hyland. These pros gave us the complete breakdown on how to recreate the styles yourself as well as the products they used (although your own bathroom stash will work, too). Kristen Stewart KNOWS how to get people talking, and at the 2013 Kids' Choice Awards we obsessed over her tousled fishtail braid (as well as her daring short suit!). The actress's hairstylist, Adir Abergel, told us how he achieved the effortless hair look.

1. On slightly damp hair, apply Fekkai Perfectly Luscious Curls Wave Activating Spray from roots to ends.

2. Using a diffuser, blow dry hair and scrunch it with hands to create a rough, voluminous texture.

3. Next, rub a dime-size amount of Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream between your hands and sweep hair back and up off of the face.

4. Starting at the crown, create a fishtail braid down the middle of the head. Secure the end with a clear elastic band. Gently pull the braid apart for a deconstructed look and let a few pieces of hair frame your face.

5. Finish the look by misting Fekkai COIFF Sheer Hold Hairspray all over to keep the style in place all night.

Miley Cyrus Wore Leather Basketball Shorts To Pharrell's Birthday Party

From her sheer, studded and embellished pre-Grammys dress to her black and white striped Chanel jumpsuit, we're already well aware that Miley Cyrus isn't exactly the traditional type when it comes to formal dressing. However, the singer took her daring approach to a whole new level this weekend when she attended Pharrell's 40th birthday bash (happy birthday, P!) in... leather basketball shorts?! Yep, that happened, and leave it to Miley to be probably one of the only people in the universe to pull off the risky look. They're from En Noir men's collection, which the pop star alluded to on Twitter, saying "Girl in boys clothing." Clearly stealing from the guys is a real thing these days (see also: Ciara), and it's a trend we can definitely get behind. She paired the luxe bottoms with a crop top courtesy of Maison Martin Margiela and Simone studded leather jacket. While Miley kept most of her outfit on the androgynous side, the star DID add one decidedly feminine touch: killer Saint Laurent sky-high heels.

Just in case the shoes, the clothes, and, ya know, THE MOVIE ITSELF weren't enough, here's yet another reason to get pumped up about "Spriiiiiing Breaaaak!" The good people over at Opening Ceremony have just rolled out a spanking new lookbook for the retailer's Spring Breakers-themed collection, and it's every bit as sundrenched and scandalous as we'd expect. Shot by photographer Annabel Mehran, the glimmering shoot showcases the pieces we've already obsessed over from the OC x Spring Breakers capsule, styled with a few bonus items from brands like Rihanna for River Island and more. Not surprisingly, we want it ALL.

Ashley Benson Talks Faviana Campaign, Prom, And Red Carpet Style Icons In Exclusive Interview [Video]

Ashley Benson may not have attended prom herself, but turns out the actress knows a thing or two about shopping for— and wearing— fancy dresses. After all, there's absolutely no question this girl can work it on the red carpet (just check the entire Spring Breakers press tour for evidence!), but she's also the face of Faviana, the New York-based label that designs celebrity-inspired special occasion gowns. We stopped by the company HQ recently to check out the new prom styles and get the lowdown on all the offerings from Ashley herself. In between chatting about all things Spring Breakers-related, she filled us in on her new spokesmodel gig and the best parts about helping girls pick out dresses for their own big nights. She also dished on her signature red carpet steez, gearing towards "edgy, chic looks" that's a more glamorous extension of her casual everyday uniform. Oh, and one more thing: clearly we're not the only ones obsessed with the Olsen twins around here, because Ashley admitted that MK&A have been her style icons since Day One (and still are today!). Beyonce Recreates Iconic Music Video Looks For Pepsi Commercial

It takes a LOT for us to set our alarms extra early in the morning, but if there's anyone we'll do it for, it's Beyonce. Yesterday the superstar hinted that something huge would be coming at 9 AM on 4/4/13, and she stayed true to her word, dropping her brand new Pepsi commercial upon the world bright and early today! Although an ad might not be quite as heart-stopping as a new music video, the clip (featuring a preview of her new song "Grown Woman") DID take us down Bey memory lane. It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it game of Beyonce style trivia with her most iconic music video looks, all stuffed into this one minute commercial. We're talking about that pink one-shouldered crop top and slit skirt from "Bootylicious," the white tank and denim hotpants from "Crazy In Love," and the black leotard and Sasha Fierce hand from "Single Ladies." Are your brains exploding yet?! There's moreee!

Grimes, Rita Ora, And Iggy Azalea Push Fashion Boundaries On 'HUNGER' Magazine Covers

You hear that? That sound is just the undeniable buzz that zips around the MTV Style HQ whenever one of our faves like Grimes, Rita Ora, or Iggy Azalea finds herself firmly planted upon some glossy prime real estate. But now that that all THREE emerging stars have landed themselves individual covers for HUNGER magazine, this buzzy feeling has morphed into a bonafide EXPLOSION that practically crackles right off of the screen. Publications are quickly learning that one way to sell issues like hotcakes (or, in this case, concert tickets) is to produce multiple covers and often with more than one star. So perhaps taking cues from Teen Vogue's success with all five of its One Direction covers, HUNGER upped the ante with seven different editions for Spring/Summer 2013, each featuring a different rising female artist. Yes, you read that right...seven! In addition to Grimes, Rita, and Iggy, Jessie J, A*M*E, Gabrielle Aplin, and Crystal Renn all landed smack dab on an issue and repping a style that's undeniably her own. Editor-in-chief Rankin handpicked each of the girls himself, explaining, “I had begun to notice a pattern emerging in film and fashion, but most notably in music; where people (most obviously, young women) were taking control of their creative lives and output in a way I hadn’t seen before,” he said. So the natural step was to put them on the cover of his magazine, and it's an awesome thing he did.

Watch Danny Brown's New Uniqlo Campaign Video!

The creative geniuses over at Uniqlo have already given us some really cute clothes (and a case of hair envy!) to look forward to for spring 2013, but the Japanese retailer isn't finished quite yet. It's serving up another helping of style, this time starring the one and only Danny Brown. The rapper and former Mark McNairy model is part of the brand's UT TruckShop, a seasonal promotion that takes Uniqlo's rad new UT tees on the road... literally. Danny will join fellow faces like Miss Info and Curtis Kulig at pop-up events, performances and t-shirt stores around New York City this April. Before all THAT kicks off (his performance is this weekend!), check out Danny's new campaign video. His is the first of Uniqlo's "Life in a Minute" clips, which give us an intimate peek inside each artist's life in a mere 60 seconds. Watch it below, and find out more about the campaign here!

Emma Watson Shows Off 'The Bling Ring' Style On British 'GQ'

We already know that Emma Watson is a versatile actress. After all, her genre-skipping onscreen roles are exactly the reason she's received the MTV Trailblazer Award! However, the 22-year-old's talent for transforming herself isn't restricted just to movies— she's proven her style chameleon status time and again in magazines, too. But despite her recent edgy Marie Claire UK look, her preppy-cool NYLON style, and repping her inherently chic beauty in T, the actress's new British GQ cover STILL called for a double take, because it's just so different than how we're used to seeing her. The star graces the publication's May issue decked out in total Bling Ring fashion, channeling her onscreen alter ego Nicki with the same long hair and body-hugging styles she sports in the forthcoming Sofia Coppola flick. The cut-out dress might conjure up major '90s Pretty Woman vibes (see the resemblance?), but the body jewelry, the giant Frappuccino, and the sunglasses propped atop her head keeps the ensemble firmly planted in the here and now.

Nicki Minaj's 'High School' Music Video: Look By Look

Despite the fact that Nicki Minaj has been ALL over the place recently, what with her American Idol gig, her Pink Friday perfumes (and the accompanying bottle clothing collection) and her ELLE cover, we've got to admit, we miss her live shows. The pop star says she's (understandably) too busy with her various fashion projects to plan a tour right now, though, and you know what? That's OK, because her new "High School" video is an excellent alternative.

Yep, after days of giving sneak peeks and BTS snaps on Twitter, the time has finally come! Barbz dropped her video upon the world earlier this morning in her MTV First, and we've had the neon-drenched clip on loop ever since. Director Benny Boom captured the lovey dovey vibes between Nicki and Lil Wayne (who's also featured on the track), following the duo as their steamy romance heats up in and around a gorgeous mansion. Not to mention, there's also some crime and jewelry thievery thrown in for good measure (but you'll have to watch to find out what happens!). The style is predictably eye-popping, with Nicki swapping her Moschino, Balmain and McQueen "realness" for highlighter-hued swimwear and body con dresses. If you follow Taylor Swift's every footstep as closely as we do, then you already know that the pop star is a huge fan of Vintage Shoe Company. She's rocked a tobacco-hued lace-up pair in a photo shoot for her Red album cover, sported a similar style for Rolling Stone magazine, and—here's how you know she's genuinely obsessed—wears them off-duty, as well. She stepped out in New York City this weekend in a red suede version of her beloved Aubrey oxfords, and the bright kicks added the perfect amount of prep to her buttoned-up, skinny jeans ensemble. But it turns out these aren't just any shoes... the pair was actually created specifically for Taylor and her Red tour.
