Marc Jacobs Sells A Wanted T-Shirt To Catch A Thief

Back in November, the entire Marc Jacobs spring 2012 collection was stolen from a train on its way from Paris to London. Remember that? Us, too. It was, how do you say, le BIG DEAL. The dastardly perpetrator is still at large but, luckily, the Marc Jacobs team rallied and reproduced the entire line. What's more, they had a sense of humor about it all. Not only did MJ put a giant train on the runway of his fall 2012 Louis Vuitton show (was this a gentle nod to the MJ collection theft?) he is now selling a hilarious $28 WANTED t-shirt bearing a sketch of the presumed thief.

Elizabeth Banks Shows Off 'Hunger Games' Effie Nails

In the words of Effie Trinket (played by the zhamazing Elizabeth Banks), "Happy Hunger Games!!!" Yes, it is finally game day, aka release day for the much-anticipated, completely awesome film adaptation of The Hunger Games book series. If you didn't catch a midnight showing or are waiting to go this weekend, all we can say is it was totally worth the wait. Also, we're obsessed with anything regarding the movie, such as Hunger Games accessories and over-the-top Effie Trinket nails. We were perusing ElizabethBanks.com recently, which is fantastic BTW, and came across this nail post featuring Effie's INSANE nail tips, which got us thinking...you guys, is it time to EFF up our nail game?

How To Rock The Sporty Trend This Spring

Happy spring! Not only have we said hello to a full hour more of sunshine every day, many of us are experiencing warmer-than-usual temps and, as a result, have started to pull out the spring threads. What's so exciting about spring styles this year is that there's an emphasis on sportswear (double emphasis on sports), which is a laid-back and comfy look that is totally easy to re-create. Many designers showed athletic-inspired collections for spring—from Kenzo's sun visors to Rag & Bone's surf chic—and thanks to our fave online stores, there's a wide variety of tank dresses, parachute jackets, and wedge booties to help get our game on. Be forewarned: Backpacks are BACK.

CATCH A WAVE
If there's one way to rock the sporty look, it's with a tank dress. While this is mos' def a mega body-conscious choice, we suggest pairing one with a slouchy pullover or tossing a jacket on to help break up the cinched-in effect of it all. We like this neon tangerine Nasty Gal x MINKPINK Amy Dress that features a typical swimmer's racerback cut in the front. The hot pink Forever 21 Zipper Front Colorblock Dress is also a fun choice and screams scuba. (Can one scream while scuba-ing? Something to ponder.) Bonus points if you wear this with Zinka stripes under your eyes too. If you're not into the body-con dress, though, go for this ASOS Jumpsuit in Wave Print, which is super cute, relaxed, and Kenzo-esque. Oh, and you're gonna need coverups for all of these looks. No worries, we got ya covered.

Snooki And JWOWW Wear Giant Flower Accessories

Jersey Shore may be over for the season, but that doesn't mean filming has stopped for Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWOWW" Farley. The gals are out and about in Jersey City filming their new spinoff show, and despite Snooki's burgeoning baby bump, the guidette gal pals seem to be all about accentuating their style game with flower accessories. Remember how wearing flowers in your hair used to be a thing not necessarily reserved for weddings? Perhaps Snooks and J are trying to bring the look back into the regular everyday boppin' around Jersey fash vernacular...or maybe they're inspired by *gasp* The Hunger Games?

'Hunger Games' Accessories To Be Ever In Your Favor

HAPPY HUNGER GAMES!!!! Holy Eff(ie), we've been waiting for what feels like an eternity for the release of The Hunger Games movie. And now *hyperventilating* it is HERE. Well, almost here, as the official release isn't until this Friday, but we can attest—without saying too much—that this film is beyond the beeeeyyond. You guys, it's EPIC, and if there's any way to get in the full on Katniss Everdeen fighting spirit, we suggest you deck yo'selves out for the release in your respective districts. There's no reason why you shouldn't show your support for the tributes who are risking their lives or tip your ensemble out all citizen of Panem style. (We may loathe their naïveté but their craymazing fash magic is fun to mimic.) MOTHER MONSTER IS BACK!!! Well, just for a brief moment, and not before possibly disappearing again for a rather lengthy bit of time, but no matter, Lady Gaga missed us Little Monsters. As you might recall, she's been rather absent from the public eye recently. Aside from launching the monumental Born This Way Foundation, which we're super excited about (and not just because she wore Sally LaPointe with aerodynamic headgear), Our Lady gave Oprah Winfrey an exclusive peek into the apartment she grew up in. This is the very same cozy abode in which she's currently ensconced, as well, and in the interview she said she would be forgoing any public appearances for quite some time. That is until she recently uploaded a Facebook photo of herself wearing ginormous diamond earrings.

Dover Street Market Opens In Tokyo (And Is Coming To New York!)

London's Dover Street Market is easily one of coolest stores in the world. Aside from carrying ridic-awesome collections from the likes of Rick Owens, Peter Pilotto, and Celine, they carry a majority of the Comme des Garçons lines, too, the latest of which is in collaboration with A Bathing Ape. Founded in 2004, by CDG designer Rei Kawakubo, the store itself is a multi-floored wonderment of shopping hailed the world over as the epicenter of cutting-edge fashion. What's exciting about this—especially since we're, uh, in the US of A—is that they opened a new store in Tokyo and are expanding… to NYC. We're quietly hugging our knees to our non-existent Play by Comme des Garçons t-shirted chest while rocking back and forth, because this is HUGE.

Jump From Paper's 2-D Bags Are Actually Real

You know those moments when you pass a store window and see something that makes your eyes bug out of your head and weird "AWOOOGA! AWOOOGA!" noises flood your psyche? Well, that's exactly what happened when we spied these insane two-dimensional bags from Jump From Paper. Founded by design duo Chay Su and Rika Lin "one cozy afternoon" in Taipei, Taiwan, the line came together over a conversation on how cool it would be to make hand-drawn illustrations come to life in the form of handbags. The results may look like exactly like 2-D cartoons but they're actually totally 3-D functional bags; in fact, the one question Su and Lin always get is, "Are they real?" They are, indeed, but if you squint your eyes like we keep doing it doesn't look possible.

It's Upfront season! What in the heck does this mean? Well, it's the time of year when TV networks celebrate which of their shows are returning as well as reveal new shows for their upcoming seasons. If you're a weirdly rabid TV watcher (HI) then this is super happy fun times with surprise pudding and sprinkles on top and even more so when it involves ABC Family. The stars of the network, namely Shailene Woodley of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Lucy Hale of mega hit Pretty Little Liars, and Chelsea Kane of the upcoming series Baby Daddy were all a part of the happy hoopla and even started their own with the choice to wear pants. We mean trousers. (Same diff, really, but in other parts of the world, "pants" mean something else entirely...Google it.) Still, TROUSERS! With bright colors! This is a new thing, right?

5 Things We Learned From Karl Lagerfeld's 24-Hour List

Ever wonder what my favorite uncle Karl Lagerfeld gets up to in a typical 24 hour period? Yeah, me too. For some reason, he's still not taking my phone calls, so it's not like I can ask him personally. Still, I've always imagined the designer, photographer, Chanel creative director, and all-around inspirational polymat spent tons of time reading, sketching, designing, drinking Diet Coke, and stroking his favorite kitten princess, Choupette. Well, it turns out I was correct about all of that, but had NO CLUE about King Karl's predilection for staying in his jimmy-jams (PJ's for those of you who have never slept over) until noon, his breakfast of choice, the truth about his hair regime, and the fact that he doesn't even think about tiptoeing into the office until 5 p.m. But thanks to the fine folks over at Harper's Bazaar —who clearly have more pull than Karl's own [imaginary] NIECE, for goodness sakes—we now know all about KL's ponytailed daily routine. Wait, strike the word routine. Monsieur Lagerfeld hates it apparently.
