In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, which hits newsstands on Friday, Jersey Shore’s Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, rides a rocket ship on the magazine's cover, wears a pickle barrel inside the publication, and dishes on what it’s like to become an overnight reality TV sensation. Aside from all of the smushing that obviously goes on on the show, what Snooks had to say just might surprise you.

On Seeing Herself Act A Fool: "I just hate it. Obviously, they're only going to put the good stuff in, and the good stuff is us drunk, so all I'm seeing is me drunk and falling down. That's how I am when I party, but some of the stuff I do is, like, 'Really, Nicole?' I look like a freakin' alcoholic. I'm like, 'You're sweating, your makeup is running, you look gross.' I just look like shit."

On Her Plans Post-Jersey Shore: "I'd like to turn out like Jessica Simpson, with her whole brand. She makes millions."

On Creating Her Look: "While everyone else went emo or goth, I evolved into the guido lifestyle, with the tanning, the pouf high hair and the hot clothes, and everyone was like, 'Oh, my God, you look so hot,' stuff like that. It was sexy."

Jared Leto of 30 Seconds to Mars performs in Melbourne, Australia, on March 2.
Photo: Getty Images

Jared Leto pushed the fashion envelope AGAIN (a few weeks ago it was a Slanket-esque black and white poncho... remember that?). This time, while performing at the Take 40 concert in Melbourne, Australia, on March 2, the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman wore the same collarless blazer with obnoxious shoulder details (it looks like they're made of horse hair, but we can't be sure) that he wore while performing on the Jay Leno Show last month. He also accessorized his futuristic ensemble with Men in Black-style shades and Spider-Man-style red gloves that make us wonder if there's a whole bodysuit under all those black layers. And, let's be honest...you never know when it comes to Mr. Leto.

+ Do you like Jared Leto's wild shoulder pads?

Rihanna shopping in Sydney, Australia, on Mar. 2 and at her Reb'l Fleur fragrance launch in Lakewood, Calif., on Feb. 18.
Photo: Getty Images

While store-hopping today in Sydney, Australia, singer Rihanna debuted a new 'do (which, if you weren't aware, is probably a wig). The statement-making toasty red mane featured long, sleek layers, and heavy, lash-skimming bangs. Personally, we think it's a wee bit too much hair for the singer's petite heart-shaped face. HELLO...Who doesn't wish to wake up with her hazel eyes and lashes-to-there? So we don't get why RiRi is just covering them up with hair, and more hair. But, we suppose, that's the good thing about a wig—here today, gone tomorrow. What do you think?

Jena Malone at the "Beastly" premiere in Los Angeles on Feb. 24.
Photo: Getty Images/Topshop

Polka dots are having a moment. And Jena Malone is basking in their glow. The 26-year-old actress showed a modern way to wear the retro print when she rocked a Topshop Black Dot Spot Tie Front Shirt ($70, Topshop.com) with loose black shorts, sheer tights and black ankle boots to the Beastly movie premiere in Los Angeles on Feb. 24. By choosing a shirt with so much going on (spots, bows, high collar), Jena created a super flirty and fresh ensemble with a pattern that dates back centuries.

Crackle nail polishes by China Glaze, OPI, and Mia Secret.
Photo: Courtesy China Glaze, OPI, and Mia Secret

Polish is polish is polish. Unless, of course, it crackles. The hottest new trend to hit the lacquer world are these polishes that create a shatter effect when they dry on your tips. The look is raw and gritty, yet amazingly intricate (i.e. if you tell 'em you sat in a salon for hours to get the look, they'll probably believe you!).

How to wear:
For day, coat your nails in a flat/matte polish, then top with one of these crackle polishes; for night, go with a layer of glitter lacquer topped by a shatter effect polish. Done and done.

If you can only try one, try one of these:
+ China Glaze Crackle Glaze in Crushed Candy ($6.49, SallyBeauty.com)
+ Katy Perry Collection Nail Polish by OPI in Black Shatter ($12.75, Amazon.com)
+ Mia Secret Crackle Nail Polish in Rose ($4.10, Amazon.com)

Justin Bieber at the Academy Awards in Hollywood on Feb. 27, at the "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" premiere in Paris on Feb. 17 and London on Feb. 16.
Photo: WireImage/Getty Images

Justin Bieber has had quite a momentous year—he released an album, headlined a tour, debuted a 3-D biopic/concert film, sold out a nail polish collection barring his name, and most recently—it appears—charmed teen crooner Selena Gomez. But as he bids farewell to his 16th year, perhaps memorialized by the cutting of his iconic mane (what a Samson and Delilah-thing to do, right?), we'd like to help ring in the teen idol's 17th birthday by shouting out a few of his most recent style hits. Happy birthday, Biebs!

• For the Academy Awards on Feb. 27, Justin debuted his new haircut for the first time in a three-piece Dolce & Gabbana ensemble with a red pocket scarf (way to match the carpet!) and a BaubleBar Pop bracelet.

• Justin wore his favorite color for the Paris premiere of Never Say Never on Feb. 17. With loosened kicks, baggy fitted jeans and a dog tag chain, he was able to make his geeky purple V-neck cardigan look cool.

• The boy phenom also rocked D&G (it's his go-to designer) for the London premiere of Never Say Never on Feb. 16. Justin teamed a waist coat, bow tie, shirt, and jeans with a pair of CLEAN black and white sneaks.

+ Which look do you like the best on J.B.?

Emma Stone and January Jones at the Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner in Los Angeles on Feb. 26.
Photo: Getty Images

While we see celebrities dressing alike all the time (trendsetters unite!), it's rare to see two stars rock the same look on the same day at the same event. But that's exactly what happened when actresses Emma Stone and January Jones popped by the Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner in Los Angeles on Feb. 26. Both celebs wore a crisscross black halter dress by Chanel with a cropped jean jacket. Emma teamed her shift and topper with black peep toes, a mini-purse, and a black cuff, while January chose Elizabeth and James denim for her lacier version. We love the collarless jacket that Emma chose, which helps show off the unique neckline of the dress, but what's your take?

Another Gossip Girl episode ("Empire of the Son"), another drama-filled party. During Chuck Bass' fashion-y fete, Nate Archibald (Chase Crawford) fell head over heels for Raina Thorpe (Tika Sumpter), and papa Thorpe tried to blackmail Chuck and Lily Humphrey (Kelly Rutherford) into signing over Bass Industries. Meanwhile, Lily, wearing Elie Saab(!!), turned herself into the district attorney for the forged affidavit she signed to send Ben Sharp (David Call) to jail, and Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) and Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) tried to hide their budding friendship—but, in the end, wound up smooching. Talk about a cliff-hanger! The Upper Eastsiders (and their Christian Dior frocks) are on hiatus until April 18. To hold you over, check out our fave looks from the episode below. XOXO...

The 2011 Oscars red carpet was just the beginning. Nominees plus dozens of other celebs slipped into their cutest cocktail dresses for the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, one of the most coveted post-Academy Awards tickets in Hollywood.

SHOWSTOPPERS: A memo must have gone out! There was a TON of crimson at the Oscars, and the scene was much the same at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. Zoe Saldana wore a Prabal Gurung fuchsia and red frock, Selena Gomez slipped into a body-lengthening Dolce & Gabbana gown, Anna Kendrick wore a ruffled scarlet Notte by Marchesa dress, and Anna Paquin rocked a ballet-inspired Monique Lhuillier dress.

THRILL OF THE LACE: Nothing says glamour like a little lace. Mia Wasikowska (in Stella McCartney), Zooey Deschanel (in Valentino), Ginnifer Goodwin (in Erdem), and Jena Malone (in a sleeveless, tummy-"showing" cocktail dress) chose to drive the point home in A LOT of the feminine fabric.

AU NATUREL: You'd think that wearing a dress that matches your skin tone would completely wash you out and make you look like a blob of, well, beige. But it was quite the opposite for Jessica Biel (in a strappy Versace gown), Gwyneth Paltrow (in the same Michael Kors gown she performed in at the Oscars), Taylor Swift (in a Zuhair Murad minidress), and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (in a Valentino Haute Couture dress). These stars glowed!

SINGING THE BLUES: Our new fashion theory is that ANYONE can dazzle in a blue hue. Enter: Rosario Dawson in a high-slit Diane von Furstenberg dress, Lea Michele in a long-sleeve sparkling Roberto Cavalli gown, and Dianna Agron in an ankle-length, flowing frock by J. Mendel.

TAKE THE PLUNGE: One thing's for sure—a lot of double-sided tape was used last night to keep the deep necklines of Claire Danes' cream Calvin Klein dress, Emma Roberts' sparkling Jenny Packham creation, and Gabrielle Union's stunning Diane von Furstenberg purple dress in place.

CHIC FRILLS: You have to be careful with ruffles, as there's a fine line between classy and trashy, but these ladies pull them off. Rashida Jones (in Valentino), Selita Ebanks (in red and beige one-shoulder dress), Amanda Seyfried (in Valentino), and Cameron Diaz (in Carolina Herrera), looked uber-ladylike in their perfectly frilly frocks.

PRINTS CHARMING:We know that trends come in threes (at least). But we were so mesmerized by Emma Stone's short-sleeved Chanel Haute Couture dress and Lourdes Leon's AllSaints Aztec minidress that we couldn't help but mentioning. You like, right?
