Fergie's second fragrance (called Outspoken Intense) for Avon, which will launch in July, is a little more edgy than the last. Not blood and bacon edgy. More like blackberry, starfruit and passion flower edgy. {People StyleWatch}

Lady Gaga's Grammy's red carpet egg ensemble may be in storage now, but don't think you've seen the last of it. Gaga's creative director Laurieann Gibson recently hinted that the megastar just might pull out and dust off the odd contraption. {E!}

Britney Spears in her 'Till The World Ends' music video.
All Photos: Courtesy of Jive Records

Yesterday Britney Spears released the video for the second single "'Till the World Ends" (which, P.S., was cowritten by Ke$ha) from her new album, Femme Fatale. In the Ray Kay-directed clip, it's Dec. 21, 2012 (GREAT reminder that the world is slated to end not in January 2012 but just before Christmas) and the world's about to come to a screeching halt. Asteroids are falling from the sky, buildings are crumbling—the whole nine. Brit and her crew (who all look like they're fresh from a funner, clubbier, less Burning Mannish version of the 2Pac x Dr. Dre "California Love" video) go underground to dance it out in leather, spikes, and ripped tights. BECAUSE what better way to spend a night haloed by the threat of an apocalypse than busting out the choreographed dance moves? Nothing, people. NOTHING.

STUD IT DOWN. This just might be the most spikes on a single CROPPED leather jacket we've ever seen. Armor against all the fiery sky shrapnel one would think...

All the naysayers saying boo about 29-year-old Britney's dance moves can suck it. Why? She can smoothly pop and lock while wearing a cumbersome shrunken leather jacket with exaggerated shoulder pads. You try wearing an animal hide bolero and corset and dancing. Do it. We'll wait.

Here's a close-up of Brit's shoulder pads. And her jewel encrusted bustier. And her perfectly piece-y and wavy tendrils. And her apropos smudged smoky eyes.

Check the MAJOR train on this goth-inspired leotard. Side note: You watched the video...what are the gold circle things behind Britney? Innocent light sources? Or gilded albums emblematic of her MUTLTIBAJILLION record sales?

Those ripped tights (which Britney wears with thigh-high boots for much of the video). Kinda not mad at the macabre appeal of cobwebby hosiery. Almost romantic. Must make a note of trying it out shortly before the world ends, just in case it's a fashion risk that fails to pay off.

Sooooooo the world doesn't really end at the end of the video. Britney changes into something a little more colorful—a netted red catsuit—(albiet, still ripped) to celebrate the dawning of the sun. As you do. Or maybe I personally would dispatch a bird or something to make absolutely sure the atmosphere wasn't poison. That's just me, though.

It seems that the whole "no-white after Labor Day" rule has been overturned—people now wear whatever color they want, whenever they want. Case closed. But now there's a new debate plaguing fashion folk. Many are under the assumption that you can't/shouldn't/wouldn't be caught dead wearing sequins after New Year's Day. Why? Because it's synonymous with a party...or a disco ball...or a princess tiara? Who knows?! Who cares. Some of our fave bloggers have thrown caution to the wind by rocking minis in the sparkly fabric whenever they feel like it, in their own ways. There's ALWAYS room for glitter. Duh.

Katy Atlas of Sugarlaws
Blog: Sugarlaws.com. Twitter: @sugarlaws.
In addition to being one heck of a dresser, Katy can cook (not ramen noodle cook...like, for real cook). Her blog is actually about fashion and food. One of her recent posts was about this chocolate souffle cake she made, and it made us drool. So did this black miniskirt that chef Katy partners with a GORGE Tory Burch V-neck cardigan. Yums.

Francesca Robertson of Le Kiss Kiss
Blog: LeKissKiss.com. Twitter: @lekisskiss.
Thanks a lot, Francesca! Your whole vibe makes us want to go on a tropical vacation—someplace hot...with a pool...and a salsa band. Instead, we're stuck behind a computer. Blah. Fran (can we call you Fran?), an aspiring fashion/entertainment lawyer, pairs her loose Calypso St. Barth white sequin SHORTS with a ruffled tank, wide belt, leopard print open toe wedges and a strappy over-the-shoulder bag. Well played.

Ashley Mahoney of Free Honey
Blog: Free-Honey.com. Twitter: @freehoneyashley.
Ashley totally fooled us (which, P.S., isn't an easy thing to do). That flirty little skirt she's wearing is actually a flirty little dress from Zara. The Manhattanite wears it as a skirt under a striped sweater from Gap. Her rugged Seychelle boots and skinny H&M belt also help 360 the look from night to day.

Looks from LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's.

People! We don't care if it's raining in the greater New York metro area. We don't care if it's predictably FUHREEZING in our air-conditioned office building. We're gonna call it: SPRING HAS SPRUNG! *thunder clap* :( Whatever the weather, we're finally going to declare it OK to vacuum pack our sweater collection and stash it under the bed. And this is why: The Hills alum/author (she's working on another three-book series)/fashion designer Lauren Conrad just released a second round of MORE floaty dresses, tops, and skirts for her LC Lauren Conrad line at Kohl's (all priced between $20 and $72). Remember when she launched the first part of the spring line in February? Well, this time we've got a slew of SHOE PORN. Check out all the ensembles and the added product shots ASAP and dream of sunshine. And then imagine wearing that rose-print dress above... while nibbling on a lobby roll...in the park...with birds chirping in the trees...and boys jogging past...with flexing calf muscles...that are lean but not, like, skinny...or too hirsute...ANYWAY, just do it. It aaaaalmost feels warm.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have plenty to celebrate. Not only were they cleared of tax fraud, but Justin Bieber has been wearing their designs religiously to red carpet events. To show their gratitude, the duo is throwing a major shindig for JB this weekend. We can't wait to peep party pics! {Coco Perez}

Audrina Patridge.
Photo: VH1

If you thought that after The Hills Audrina Patridge would just live out the rest of her days curled up on her couch in her PJ's eating Little Debbie cakes (not that there's anything wrong with that), think again. On April 17, Ms. Patridge will premiere a brand spankin' new reality show on VH1 called Audrina (OF COURSE!). The show follows Audrina through life with her family sharing the spotlight. We CAN'T WAIT to learn more about her verrrrrrry different younger sis Casey (below), who is a mom of two, wife of a pro dirt biker, and a tattoo addict. (Remember when she was spotted on season 4 of The Hills dishing out advice to Audrina about Justin Bobby and Lauren?! Yep, that's her!) But, until then, we scooped some of the show's promo shots, plus...PLUS found out where to score a few of the cute frocks that Audrina is wearing in them. There's the cute strapless DVF mega-tiered dress ($556.50, dvf.com) that she's wearing on the couch (sans oatmeal cream pies), which—P.S.—would make a killer prom dress. And for the days you're feeling saucy, try the See by Chloe Strapless Two-Tone Dress ($395, bloomingdales.com) Audrina is showing off with her come-hither-hands-above-head-hip-popped-out stance. Our personal fave shift is the Alice + Olivia Diana Leather Peplum Dress ($495, bergdorfgoodman.com) she's wearing while posing with her younger, way-more-tatted sis.

The Outnet, an online fashion outlet, is celebrating its second anniversary with a $2 birthday sale. What does that mean?! It means that you can scoop up ridiculously priced designer threads (i.e. a $1,795 Proenza Schouler leather jacket) for 2 bucks. For real-for real. {Glamour}

• Hottie actor Cam Gigandet recently went Chris Brown (who went Sisqo [lolololololol at a Sisqo reference]) by bleaching his 'do platinum blond. Fingers crossed that the new hair hue is for a role because we're not feelin' it. {Just Jared}

Aerin Lauder, heiress and SVP to the Estee Lauder beauty empire, will launch her own fashion company (with help from NBC's Jeff Zucker and Vogue's Anna Wintour). Watch out Tory Burch. Actually, watch out EVERY FASHION COMPANY EVER. Damn. #hardbody {She Finds}

A model in the pen dress, and Lady Gaga in Paris on March 2.
Photo: Solent News & Photo Agency/Getty Images

Annette Carey is the latest fashion designer to declare her want/need for Lady Gaga to wear one of her frocks. We can't knock her for trying. Pretty much anyone (think: Noritaka Tatehana and Franc Fernandez) who designs a piece that Lady G actually decides to walk out of her house in becomes instantly BIG TIME (cue "I've Got the Golden Ticket" from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory). But of course you can't JUST stitch a regular ol' floor-length gown and expect Gaga to pay it an ounce of attention. Annette knew this, which is why she decided to create a strapless white and black cocktail dress made out of 1,200 Biro pens (a British brand of ballpoint). The sheath took 640 hours to make (poor fingers!), it weighs 8 pounds, and it costs $16,000. BUT, would Lady Gaga wear it? We're gonna have to say no. Remember, this the same woman who occasionally shops sans pants and wears prosthetics in her face. Yeeeeaaaah. We're thinking a boatload of pens is just too tame for the intended wearer. Sorry, Annette! But, what do you think?

Miley Cyrus, Taylor Momsen, and Selena Gomez at Nickelodeon's 2011 Kids' Choice Awards in L.A. on April 2.
Photo: Getty Images

Instead of the cookie-cutter red carpet frocks (possibly form-fitting, possibly with a slit, possibly strapless) that are customary at many awards shows, celebs stepped out onto the Nickelodeon’s 2011 Kids' Choice Awards orange carpet in ensembles that gave us a glimpse into their personal styles and their unique psyches. BECAUSE even though they were all born in '92/'93 (great years, by the way), there’s a BIG difference between Selena Gomez, Taylor Momsen, and Miley Cyrus. And it all starts with their clothes...followed behind their contrasting photo poses. So the question is whose closet could you hang out in for an hour or two?

Miley Cyrus
Miley (who took home the award for Favorite Movie Actress) wore a floral maxi gown by Dolce & Gabbana. At first glance we get girly—all-out feminine, flirty, and romantic. It's exactly what her tween/teen fans (and their moms) would want to see her in. But upon closer inspection, we see Miley's edge in the form of a long layered silver chain. And is that a four-finger knuckle ring on her right hand? Yes. Yes it is.

Taylor Momsen
Sooooooo, this is the third or fourth time we've seen our wild child Taylor wearing leg-covering pants. Usually, she'd be rocking this same outfit sans the trousers. But this was the KIDS' Choice Awards, so goth girl better have covered up her goodies. OK, we're off our soapbox. Slacks aside, Taylor kept her badassssss demeanor intact by donning leather, sky-high platforms, smudged liner, hip-length extensions, a chocker, and a scowl.

Selena Gomez
Singer/actress Selena (who won the award for favorite TV actress) took the casual route by wearing a Christian Cota organza top and shorts set with pale blue Camilla Skovgaard shoes and a Lauren Merkin purse. What this look says to us about this awards show reg: "Sure, I have a closet full of cute cocktail dresses and floor-skimming gowns, but sometimes I just want to wear shorts and a tank top, DANG IT." We can relate. Kinda.

So, would you have gone summer dress-shorts, black jeans and leather, or über flowy (I mean, that frock boasted a train...) floral maxi? Tell us your thoughts in the comments and rep who you liked best.
