Jared Leto loves his mohawk. As he should! The 30 Seconds to Mars frontman has worked hard on that thing — it's been a work-in-progress for a few months now. The last time we saw him with a full head of hair was January, then WOAH, cue the electric razor, his mohawk was born weeks later. In March, we spotted him with a shaved look at the Lanvin women's fashion show in Paris. It's sort of Rihanna/Cassie-esque with the side-swept bangs, right? The mohawk then grew out a bit, and in May it was nice and bushy and healthy and ... bleached and magenta (yes magenta — that is NOT pink). The color definitely made him look less pale and angsty, so we're calling it an upgrade. And on Monday, his hair evolved yet again, when he showed up to the Christian Dior couture show in Paris with a totally blond 'do. We imagine this light color would be the ideal hue to really bring out his eyes — those lovely baby blues — if he only took off those shades.

+ Which of Jared's hairstyles do you like best — bleach, pink, or black?

UPDATE: It's not magenta, it's pomegranate. And there is a Facebook fan page for it, obviously.

Screw symmetrical spectacles! That's BORING. Especially when you can rock crazy, cool glasses like Janelle Monáe. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter performed at the Hoxton Bar in London last night in these space-age-style black-and-white frames by the French designer eyewear brand Alain Mikli (the same company that created the world-famous and massively-imitated Shutter Shades made popular by Kanye West). Unsurprisingly, though, Janelle's specs are off-the-charts expensive — they cost $545 for one pair. But if you're really feeling bold, you can snag cheaper asymmetrical frames on for $18.80.

Kelly Rowland wore her hair sleek and straight to last night's The Twilight Saga: Eclipse premiere in London. But as part of promoting her disco-heavy new album that drops in September, she's also been dabbling with the seventies-style curly fro lately, like when she attended a party for E!'s 20th Anniversary party in May. WOW. She looks totally different when she's got the fro going. And we love, love, love her crazy fro! Fros make us think of divas. And, you know, divas always win.

Vans, the makers of our favorite Cali-style surfer kicks, teamed up with legendary graffiti artist Claw Money to launch a limited-edition collection of shoes and clothing, which drops TODAY in stores. Hi-tops are $70, casual low kicks are $55, the tank is $26, and the socks are $8 per pair. So we had a little chat with Claw today about the collection, which features her signature tag — a brightly-colored, three-taloned paw — all over the items. "I wanted this to be NYC meets So-Cal with an urban jungle safari type of aesthetic," the native New Yorker told us. "Sun-bleached power leopard, perfect for riding the subway or hitting the beach."

Ooooooh, power leopard! It sounds like a color we'd like to own more of. If we ever had the chance to make up a color out of thin air like Claw did, we'd probably put the word power in front of it, too. Power black. Power green. Power polka dots. Power periwinkle ... we're stopping before we get carried away.

Pauly D, The Situation, Jersey Shore-ites, tanaholics ... LISTEN UP. Some devastating news happened in the "T" part of your GTL world today. As of this morning, part of President Obama's new healthcare bill went into effect — a 10 percent federal tax slapped on all tanning services nationwide. The tax is part of an effort to discourage people from tanning indoors. That means turning your skin an unnatural shade of orange-brown just got a little more expensive.

Why? Well, to start, the government needs more money. (The tax is expected to bring in $2.7 billion over 10 years.) But that's not the only reason. Tanning isn't exactly the healthiest activity. Last year, tanning was compared to being as bad for you as arsenic. (You know how cigarettes are taxed? Well, lawmakers now treat smoking and tanning similarly.) The Melanoma Research Foundation reports: "The incidence of people under 30 developing melanoma is increasing faster than any other demographic group, soaring by 50 percent in young women since 1980." Scary!

But, lots of people still tan. And the ones who do aren't happy about the government deciding to tax their vice. Today, Nebraskans are holding protest rally against the tax. Why Jersey natives didn't think of this first, we're not sure.

+ Do you tan?

Want a piece of Britney? We've missed her Circus! But she's back on the circuit now, hustling, launching her very own line of clothes and accessories for Candie's that hits Kohl's stores today. Some of her offerings are pictured above. The collection is pretty much exactly what you'd expect from the pop star — a lot of stretchy fabric, black lace, and pink. If we had to name it, we'd call it a Total Bubblegum Explosion. But hey, that's Britney's thing, and we love her for it. Cheesy? Yes. But if anyone should have the right to bedazzle a white tank top and call it "designed," it's Britney.

Let's take a closer look at some of the clothes. The pink tank isn't online yet, but the studded skirt and jeans are $48, the bracelet is $16, the jeweled tank is $32, and the studded black dress is $48. In fact, when we checked, this stuff was already discounted by 50 percent online. YIKES.

+ Fill in the blank: Britney's collection for Candie's looks ____.

Photo: Lola's Macy's Blog

Lourdes "Lola" Leon is basically who we wished we were at 13. (But wait! She's almost 14.) To start, she's designing a clothing line for Macy's named Material Girl with her mother ........ MADONNA. Then, to promote the line, she officially became a blogger and started a blog about her style. A blog? A blog! She is after our heart. (By the way, she hates brown and loves eighties shorts.)

Lola's line drops at Macy's on August 3, and WWD showed us a sneak peek of the clothes and the line's super-low prices. We're talking Target, H&M, Forever 21-affordability here, people! Tube tops are $5, and almost everything else between $12 and $40. The most expensive items include a studded leather jacket and a dress with a built-in bustier, both of which are under $80.

Check out a few of the clothes below. That jacket. That dress. That crop top. We'll take 'em all. Ummmm, actually, we'd like one more thing, too. Can we have a Freaky Friday moment and trade places with Miss Lola?! Please and thank you.

+ Would you wear any of Lola and Madonna's clothes?
