Inside The Party: The Virgins’ Donald Cumming Wanted To Wear A Skirt At The Forever 21 Opening In Times Square, But He Wasn’t Allowed

This morning, Forever 21's biggest store in the country opened in New York City's Times Square. We checked out the store last night at the opening party, where (we'll be honest) we expected total mayhem. The Virgins were on deck to perform. Ten-dollar jeans were everywhere. And it's located the in the middle of one of the busiest intersections in the world. It sounded like it was going to be chaos!

But when we stepped inside the cavernous, over 90,000-square-foot, spanking-new Times Square flagship store, we found four floors of total calm. Clothes were organized perfectly by color and size. The white floors gleamed. Chandeliers sparkled from the soaring ceilings. And ... there was free stuff everywhere, from nail polish to sequined T-shirts by Twelve by Twelve, Forever 21's "more upscale" line (as if that's even possible). It was like Christmas in June with cheese cubes and a Virgins concert.

We quickly made our way backstage to a curtained-off section of the store to catch up with the Virgins. While chowing down on a pack of Lunchables (really), lead singer Donald Cumming combed through nearby clothing racks to find a suitable outfit to wear for the performance. "If I wear it, maybe they'll give it to me for free!" he mused, pulling a white lace long-sleeved top over his black T-shirt. Trend Alert: Colorless Gowns Ruled ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Premiere With Kristen Stewart, AnnaLynne McCord, And More

We noticed a major trend in the red carpet getups from last night's premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse — a total absence of color. Were these ladies channeling vampire fleshtones or just feeling the elegance of pale neutrals on a summer evening? Either way, we bet everyone carried Shout wipes in their purses.

First and foremost is Kristen Stewart's white one-shoulder dress by Elie Saab, a short little textured number with a scooped back. Her friend (and Runaways co-star) Dakota Fanning wore a feather-trimmed champagne-colored strapless dress by the same designer. Meanwhile, Anna Kendrick chose a flirty Marchesa dress covered in bronze ruffles. Lily Collins wore a minidress by Burberry, and Heather Morris was definitely the most casual of the bunch in a striped, puffy-sleeved top by Urban Outfitters.

But our personal favorite has to be AnnaLynne McCord's fitted strapless gown by Nicole Miller. The floor-sweeping flared hem added just the perfect amount of drama, and we like the peek of legs in the front. (Her hunky boyfriend Kellan Lutz wasn't a bad accessory, either).

The Situation Is Designing His Own Clothing Line, Which Will Include Shirts (The Irony!)

Turns out JWOWW isn't the only Jersey Shore cast member with an eye on the sewing machine. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has teamed up with clothing label Dilligaf by Bohica Bill to design a line T-shirts, sweatshirts, and accessories, which the company describes as "high quality wearable art." Hmmmm. We're not really sure what that term means. But, if we can tell anything from what his fashion statements already tell us, we can only imagine his clothes are going to have these elements:

• The shirts will hug the bicep/pectoral areas.
• They will only worn when absolutely required. For example: Going to work, appearing on TV, or getting past the bouncer at a club. (But once you’re inside, anything goes.)
• Even when said T-shirts are worn, they will be raised frequently to allow for maximum ab exposure. (Perhaps they should include a thumb-hole on the bottom hem for easy lifting? No? Never mind.)

Alas, our hypotheses must go unanswered until next month, when the items are supposed to come out online. So, just how did the Sitch get hooked up with Dilligaf? The label's president, Jodi Massry, says that he's a kindred spirit for the company's "irreverent approach to life." In other words, he scored the gig because they like how he doesn’t take anything too seriously. Except T-shirts. And tanning. And the gym.

Which Look Do You Like Better: Fresh-Scrubbed Ke$ha Vs. Glitter-Painted Ke$ha?

Has Ke$ha been cleaning up her look these days? Maybe not entirely, but she’s at least been dabbling in hairbrushes, which is a big step considering she’s cornered the market on hangover chic. This month, the 22-year-old singer is featured on the cover of Paper magazine almost makeup-free. And she attended last night's Larry King-hosted Gulf Coast relief telethon in Los Angeles with — gasp! — straight, sleek hair combed away from her face. But we hope the face paint isn't gone forever. Because whenever she wore it, we always thought it looked like she was crying glitter tears. And not everyone can do that.

Which do you like better – squeaky-clean Ke$ha, or face-glitter Ke$ha?

Adam Senn, Former ‘The City’ Star, and Noah Mills Appear In Dolce & Gabbana's New Fall Campaign With Minimal Clothes

Dolce & Gabbana’s new ad campaign for its fall collection came out this week, and it features five male models, one of whom is former star of The City Adam Senn. And while he's there to sell the clothes, we see Adam wearing very little clothing. In fact, he's shirtless and in full perfectly-toned glory in of the four of eight photos in the campaign. (There's one where he's not wearing any pants, but he is wearing a jacket, so that disqualifies it from the count. Ha!)

One of the other models featured is Noah Mills, who played Samantha's love interest in Sex and the City 2 (or as we remember, the butt we see at the beginning of the movie). Adam, Noah, and the other three models (Sam Webb, Arthur Kulkov and Evandro Soldati) flex their biceps and rough-house with each other in the photographs, all during a fitting with a tailor.

The photos were shot by Steven Klein, the same director behind Lady Gaga's Alejandro video. And you can see some very distinct, very attractive similarities between the two projects: Namely, lots of muscular male models prancing around in tight underwear, which is just fine with us. (Mr. Klein, you are welcome to direct as many things as possible, including our next office party. Thanks!)

JWOWW Wants You To Wear Her Filthy Couture Collection To A Wedding

MTV News met up with Jersey Shore star Jenni "JWOWW" Farley to get all the dirty details about her new label, Filthy Couture, which she first debuted at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards a few weeks ago (see right). "There will be dresses that can be sexy and edgy but there will be other dresses ... that can be used at a wedding or a prom," she said. She also revealed the line, named after the “filthy beats” that she fist-pumped to last summer, will include lingerie-style bathing suits (hot tub, anyone?) and sexy dresses fit for battling on Karma’s dance floor. A Closer Look At Nicholas Kirkwood’s Garbage Bag Shoes From ‘The City’

In last night’s episode of The City, a star was born. No, it wasn’t the crazy buyer who jilted Whitney out of thousands of dollars with a canceled order — it was the fierce, five-inch-tall, garbage-bag-adorned platform heels by Nicholas Kirkwood that the cast couldn't stop gushing about. And how could they not? Look at them! These shoes represent the epitome of how one pair of shoes can unexpectedly impress your boss (if you’re Olivia), make you jealous (if you’re Erin), and transform you into an Elle-worthy model (if you’re Ke$ha).

Let’s take a moment to address the garbage bag element. You almost don’t notice what they’re made of until you look closely. And then you realize — aha! — it's TRASH. And Ke$ha loves trash! She whispered to Joe Zee, creative director of Elle magazine, "I wanted to make a dress out of garbage bags for the Grammys, but no one would let me. I guess it wasn’t chic enough.”

That's because looking like a Hefty bag is not a good look. In general, and we're just speaking from the heart, dressing yourself in garbage is also not a good look. But somehow sticking trash on shoes, especially when they’re bunched into flower-like shapes on chunky metal buckles, doesn't look so bad. If you're Ke$ha.
