Just as we were starting to get worried about Katy Perry's love affair with monochrome sweatsuits, she made an appearance at the ASCAP "I Create Music" expo yesterday sporting a super cute ensemble. She showed off THE cell phone-print Suno dress from their spring 2013 collection paired with silver metallic Aldo wedges (which you can swipe up this second for only $80!), gold jewelry, and pinned-back waves. When we first peeped this frock in the office last fall, we couldn't stop talking about their cheeky take on technology—especially since they decided to use the original Nokia phone in their print. (Please tell us you remember this sucker.)
Rihanna and her RiRi Woo lipstick from MAC.

In February, we fuh-reaked out when we heard that Rihanna would be releasing multiple (!!!) makeup collections with MAC Cosmetics, and, lucky for us, it seems that her product roll-out is happening right on cue. The first piece she planned to launch was her RiRi Woo lipstick, and guess what y'all? IT'S. HERE. If you take a little peeksies up top, you'll see her brand new shade, which is inspired by the infamous matte MAC Ruby Woo red pout she wore at the Grammys. (Fun fact: She's also sporting this lip color all summer long during her Diamonds World Tour!) Her RiRi Woo shade features her signature inscribed on the actual stick (whoa), so it's like you're getting a little part of Ri with every purchase.
We've been dishing out tips ALL week on how to have the perfect prom. From the shoes to the dress to the hair, we've done it all, but... have you thought what you're going to wear after the dance is over? *cricket chirping* Don't worry, we rounded up some amazing ensembles for wherever you decide to go post-prom. The guidelines: comfort and affordability are key while still looking hella cute (obvi). Let's get to it!
FANCY AFTER PARTY

If you're heading somewhere else fancy after the big dance, make sure to pick a frock that doesn't compete with your prom dress (and has that extra party-girl edge). We love this bright peach lace-insert shift dress ($92) because it's bold and can be dressed up or down as much as you'd like. (Think of all the killer accessories you could sport with this bad boy!) If you seriously want to channel the spirit of spring, we suggest this chic-yet-girly floral print bandeau dress ($92), which you can rock with your updo from the dance. For the gals that want to go ALL OUT, we recommend this neon and gold sequin panel skater dress ($160) that is totally show-stopping. Just throw on some coral lipstick, and you're good to go!
Katy Perry wearing sweatsuits in 2009, 2012 and 2013.

Sure, you may know Katy Perry for her cutesy onstage ensembles and show-stopping red carpet looks, but have you ever peeped her style off-duty? Over the years we couldn't help but notice that Katy has stayed true to one particularly comfy staple in her wardrobe—the sweatsuit. And, guys, we're not talking about any ol' sweatpants and sweatshirt here, we're talking about one, solid matching hoodie and sweater combo that REALLY makes a statement. Throughout time, though, we've noticed her monochromatic sweatsuits had a fashion evolution in themselves—she's transitioned from the standard Juicy Couture twosie to straight-up cozy couture (think: Chanel), and we need to discuss it.
Just when we thought we'd seen everything, Selena Gomez comes along and stuns once again! Last night, she posted a mirror selfie Twitpic that showed off her super-glam gold glitter stiletto nails (which she rocked at the MTV Movie Awards this weekend) paired with—get this—a matching iPhone case. And we're not talking about any ol' case here, folks, we're talking about an exact glitter-on-glitter match. Had we not known better, we would've thought she got this bad boy custom made! But, we do know she's the current face of Case-Mate (along with Fergie and Common), so we hit up their website ASAP to see if we, too, could sport this whole coordinating hand-and-case steez. And, yep, upon arrival there's Selena's 'dorbs little face holding a glam and glittery case for all to see.
Sure, we've been fans of Willow Smith's style since, well, as long as this blog has existed, but recently we've been shifting our sartorial gaze toward her 14-year-old brother, Jaden. On the red carpet, he and his sister have been pulling out ALL the stops with their (sometimes coordinating!) fash-forward ensembles, and when he's not starring in blockbuster movies, he's working on his own clothing collection, MSFTSREP. Today, Jaden is officially making the transition into stylish magazine spreads, and we're obsessed with the couture skater look from his most recent shoot with Wonderland magazine. He sported a graphic rose print sweater by one of our personal faves, Katie Eary, paired with a black hoodie from his own MSFTSREP collection and baggy Monkee Genes pants. He finished the look with a set of silver rings, blonde tips, and his signature eyebrow raise.

OMG, summer is almost here, y'all! We cannot WAIT to leave the house sans jacket, and if there's one person really getting us revved up for the warm days ahead, it's Cassie. Forever 21 just dropped their summer lookbook, and it features the "The Boys" singer decked out in beach-ready bustier crop tops, printed minis, and heaps of neon accessories. To be honest, we can't tell if we're more excited to see Cassie lookin' super fly in affordable duds or if we're just tearing up at the mere sight of a beach. Either way, we NEED to discuss Ms. C hardcore chillin' on a gilded low rider sporting a black and white striped top, short-shorts, tube socks, mesh lace-up platforms, stacked neon bracelets and a lime green lace veil. Also, that pompadour with matte red lips and long black nails? Too good.
Prom is in full swing, y'all, which means it's time to get that head-to-toe look whipped into shape ASAP. By now, you've (hopefully) swiped up a super fun frock, played with some amazing 'dos, and tested out the perfect makeup look. But we still have one very, very important detail that we can't overlook: the nails! Nothing pulls an entire outfit together like a set of seriously gorgeous tips, and we rounded up some springy, pastel-themed designs that are super easy to recreate on your own—we promise! Think of it this way: If you can do a simple stripe or polka dot, you're totally in the clear. Oh, and that Caviar manicure set? We have a tutorial on that, too.
Snooki at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards in Culver City, Calif., on April 14.

AHHHHHH. That's literally all we can say to express how we're feeling right now because MAY-JUH news has just dropped—Snooki revealed via Instagram that the super glam, pale pink gown she wore at the MTV Movie Awards last night was from her own clothing collection. Read that again, y'all: her own clothing collection. That's right—the Jersey Shore girl has officially announced her debut Snooki Couture by Nicole Polizzi line, and not to be all, "We totally called this," but we kiiinda did. Last fall, we asked Snooki straight-up about the odds of her creating a clothing collection (98%!), and she even went as far to describe it: "It’ll be cheap, affordable, like Forever 21, but Snooki—shoes, flip-flops, bags, platforms. Good stuff." Considering she already has super successful sunglasses, jewelry, handbag, and slipper collections (just to name a few!), it's no wonder she's making the full transition into fashion.
Chloe Moretz at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards in Culver City, Calif., on April 14.

Sure, you might've peeped all the MTV Movie Awards red carpet dresses and killer performance outfits, but have you seen the nails? So many of our favorite ensembles were complemented by equally-amazing manis that we NEED to share. Chloe Moretz, who sported one of our top looks of the night, managed to replicate the patchwork theme from her Louis Vuitton jumper onto her nails. She opted for nude tips with a neon pink geometric design, which we think looked perfect against her all-denim look. WERK.
