Katy Perry in New York on May 1.

We've been obsessed with Katy Perry's springy ensembles as of late. Whether she's hangin' at the White House Correspondents' Dinner or attending a Smurfs 2 premiere, girl continues to ba-ring her sartorial gorgeousness with every summery frock she wears. But we have a bone to pick with you Ms. P—what's up with all the blue?! Last week, she wore three blue dresses in one day; Tuesday she sported an all-blue ensemble while shoe shopping with Tommy Hilfiger; and yesterday she wore two floral blue frocks in a single evening.
Guys, something very magical happened last night: Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon renewed their vows at Disneyland. But, in pure Mariah fashion, this wasn't just any ol' 5th anniversary. She shut it DOWN with an all-out Cinderella-themed ceremony (as in, like, she actually shut down Disneyland for a night *bows down*) while wearing a white princess ball gown with a strapless lace corset, diamond necklace, diamond studs, and a diamond tiara. The best part about the ENTIRE ceremony, though, was how Mariah tweeted and Vined the HECK out of her night. Our favorite parts included 1.) Watching three people help Mariah put her dress on, 2.) "Mommy" hanging with princess Monroe before the night started, and 3.) Mariah using the hashtag "#donthatemebecauseimadiva" while she made her way to the "freezing cold guests" in a Cinderella carriage. YEP.
Ke$ha and Justin Bieber in American flag onesies.
We have to admit, we love being able to call Ke$ha an MTV star. In case y'all haven't heard, the glitter-obsessed pop star launched her own TV series called Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life last week on this very network (it airs every Tuesday night at 11 PM ET/PT! #shamlessplug), and, like, not to brag or anything, but it's an AMAZING show. The 30-minute episodes feature all the behind-the-scenes tour haps, including killer performances, boy probs, and everything in-between (a.k.a. very, very important fashion moments). Last night's "Animal On The Hunt" episode focused on K-Money's search for the perfect bearded boy, but we couldn't help but focus on something else—Ke$ha wearing an American flag zip-up onesie while boarding a plane.
Selena Gomez in her 'Come & Get It' music video.

Selena Gomez has been teasing us FOREVER (OK, like, a month) about the release her "Come & Get It" music video, but now we can officially start counting down the days until the premiere right here on MTV! Her video will air on Tuesday, May 7 at 7:53 p.m. followed by a live 30-minute "MTV First: Selena Gomez" chat on MTV.com, and, psst, Selenators, you can ask questions during the interview, too. But guys, today Selena gave us a tiny teaser on what to expect next week, and, OMG, we can barely handle all the Bollywood-inspired amazingness! In the 30-second preview, she shows off tons of flowy gowns paired with oh-so-sultry makeup looks and even—gasp—an underwater scene. OooOOOh. One red dress in particular, though, should look REALLY familiar to y'all because Selena has already worn it before—at the MTV Movie Awards!
The Ciate Corrupted Neon nail set.

Must. Get. Glowing. Nails. Right. This. Instant. *shakes self out of trance* Whoa. Sorry, dudes. Even WE got spellbound by our own hypnotizing GIF that features Ciate's new Corrupted Neon nail set. You might remember the British nail brand for making the (now infamous) Caviar manicure and insanely cool chalkboard nail set, but this time around they are taking nail art to a whole new level with their neon set that SCREAMS summer. The kit includes a matte neon paint pot, loose neon glitter and a mini UV top coat, which (if you've been keeping up with our blog!) you might remember us talking about last week. Illamasqua released a Paranormal UV polish collection, which featured four shades that could glow under any black light—and Ciate's polish works the same way! So, yes, your nails can be neon bright at the beach during day and glowing at the club long after the sun sets. I mean, just look at how she WERKS both looks in our UH-MAZING GIF above. *brushes shoulders off*
Adam Selman and Rihanna working on the autumn/winter 2013 River Island collection.

Listen, we know it feels like Rihanna JUST released her debut spring 2013 River Island collection (co-designed with Adam Selman), but she's already showing us previews for her upcoming autumn/winter line. RiRi Instagrammed a pic of her and Adam working on her fall-ready pieces, which, judging from this one image, looks like it features LOTS of prints and metallics. We ain't mad at that! Rihanna sported a backward snapback hat, comfy tee, leather pencil skirt and stacked bangles while designing her second range, which is totally a reflection of her wearable, '90s-grunge-meets-streetwear pieces from her debut line. Back in March, we caught up with Adam at the Opening Ceremony "RIHtrospective" event, and he told us straight-up that they started working on the second collection the day after her London Fashion Week show. Dang, they waste no time, y'all! We obvi can't WAIT to see what the creative twosome will bring to the table for the fall, but until then, be sure to check out our exclusive interview with Adam below!
Zac Efron on the set of 'Townies.'

Gulp. Zac Efron, guys. If you've been following his every move (like we do, obvs), you might've been wondering/seriously concerned about his out-of-character preppy street style as of late. Don't worry, we can explain. He's been filming a movie called Townies where he plays a college student who runs a frat house, and, well, um, need we say more? We HAVE to talk about his character's ensembles, though, because we love how he isn't a frat boy in the traditional sense (note the lack of cargo shorts), and instead a more fashiony, pretty boy version of campus-dwelling dudes. So far we've only peeped a few outfits from the movie, but we need to comment on his delta psi beta tee. (Yes, we had to Google the Greek alphabet to figure out what those symbols meant. #artschool) He decided to wear it SUPER tight with fitted distressed jeans, navy and yellow Nikes, and—get this—a weed leaf belt. *claps*
Rihanna backstage during her Diamonds World Tour show in Baltimore.

Whew, it's Friday, y'all. We made it. *weeps silently in cubicle* To celebrate these last few (glorious) hours before the weekend officially starts, we wanted to share some of the best fashion news we found this week. Basically, Rihanna is on her Diamonds World Tour (LOL, like you didn't already know), and during one of her stops in Baltimore, she hung out backstage in THE dopest bomber we have seen to date—mainly, because it had a giant cat face on the back of it. So amazing, right?! I mean, we are mega serious about cat fashion here at MTV Style, so we immediately scoured the web to swipe up this exact jacket for
ourselves our dear readers. Luckily, it's available to purchase at Urban Outfitters this very second, but it'll cost you 298 buckaroos. Pretty steep, but guys, it's a CAT. BOMBER. JACKET.
A$AP Rocky in the May issue of 'GQ.'
Photo: Benn Watts/GQ
It's no surprise we have a thing for A$AP Rocky. Not only does that PMF have a GORGE smile and two killer albums under his belt, but he also has a serious affinity for fashion. *heart melts* He's been pretty candid about his obsession with certain designers, and it looks like mainstream fashion mags are (finally!) starting to pick up on A$AP's sartorially-savvy self. In the May issue of GQ, A$AP traded in his black leather and gold ensembles for something a bit more summery--yacht clothing. I know, I know, you're like, "A$AP Rocky? In nautical wear? How can it be?" But trust us--it happened, and it's UH-MAZING.
Selena Gomez in NYC on April 24, Rihanna on a plane on April 20, and Rita Ora in London on Feb. 16.

Hi, world! Remember gladiator sandals? Heh, well, they're back. In case you forgot, between 2005 and 2008 these strappy shoes we ALL the rage. Whether they were low-top, high-top, studded, tasseled, bedazzled or anything in between, everyone wanted their hands (er, feet?) on a pair. Eventually, they made their way out of the fashion world, and we haven't looked back—until now. We can't stop spotting celebrities wearing the strappy, Roman-inspired shoes as of late (see: Selena Gomez, Rihanna, and Rita Ora), and we need to discuss. I mean, we have to admit we're not too surprised at their comeback considering they were all over the Spring/Summer 2013 runways—everyone from Alexander Wang to Proenza Schouler decked out their models in knee-high gladiator shoes. The only difference is that this time around we're supposed to refer to them as "cutaway boots." Got it? Got it.
