Low Rise Jeans

Yesterday, Jeremy Scott unveiled his first-ever men's RTW Moschino Spring 2015 collection, and we were super stoked to see his bold, '00s-inspired logomania pieces in all their statement-making glory...until we stumbled upon this particular look: a head-to-toe light-wash denim ensemble complete with a bustier and—gasp—low-rise jeans. Suddenly, all the early-aughts fashion came rushing back to us—the belly-button rings, the awkward torso proportions, the *gulp* visible thongs. Basically, we have low-rise jean PTSD, and here are nine reasons why we're praying these bad boys never make a serious comeback.

Robert Pattinson Bright Suits

Dang, it's been awhile since we've seen our boy Robert Pattinson all suited up, but thanks to his latest film, The Rover, R-Patz is back and bolder than ever—and we mean that literally. Yesterday at a his L.A. premiere, Robbie (oh, can we call you that? Cool, thanks) made quite the entrance in a blindingly bright blue suit. But if this whole look is feeling eerily familiar, you aren't crazy. For the past four years, he's made a statement Gucci suit his signature red carpet ensemble. Let's take a look back, shall we?

Mule Emojis

Mules be everywhere.
Illustration: Joshua Covarrubias

The mule emoji has it rough. It's often overlooked as it sits next to the striking, bright red stiletto, which frequents exciting text messages like, "Just went shopping!!!" or "Let's go out, betches!!!" But IRL, the nude mule is actually super hot right now. The thick '90s peep-toe heel in a solid, neutral tone is making a serious comeback as the go-to warm-weather shoe, and we've got buttloads of proof. First up, a pair of nude mules from Topshop ($110) that look like an exact replica of the original emoji. (It's kinda freaky.) The coolest part? That heel is actually metallic gold! Urban Outfitters ($100) also carries a stacked wooden heel version, which is perfect for everyday use.

Gold Shoelaces

Would you pay $15K for these bad boys?
Photo: The House of Solid Gold

I don't have anything against rich people. I really don't. But when I stumble upon websites like House of Solid Gold and see they're selling shoelaces that are the same price as a car, thinking about whoever would buy them makes my right eye twitch. The e-commerce site is pretty self-explanatory: It takes everyday items and transforms them into all-gold masterpieces, and in theory, that's awesome. I've truly never seen a more badass set of nail clippers in my life, but the more time I spend on this site, the more and more insane depressing it becomes. So, I just had to share some of the craziest items with y'all. Tip: Don't look at your bank account before proceeding.

Summertime, aka "the season in which no garment is safe from a randomly missing piece of fabric," is officially here, y'all. Since cutouts made their resurgence back in 2010, designers have been trying to get a bit more, um, creative with the whole hole trend (heh), and it's officially gotten out of control. Now, we're not saying we'd never wear cutouts (we're not sweaty monsters, jeez), but here are some pieces that we'll very politely decline for the time being.

Tip: Give these pocketless shorts to someone you hate because there's a 99% chance they'll end up with a broken iPhone and a case of the ugly cries.

3D IPhone cases

My case DGAF.
Photo: @sweatmoustache's Instagram

You'd be amazed at how many strangers come up to me, unprovoked, and say, "That's an, um, interesting iPhone case you have there. How does it even fit in your pocket?" The answer: it doesn't, and I'm totally OK with that. A couple months ago, I got a new (disclaimer: very large and very awesome) case and since then, I've encountered—what I'm calling—Impractical iPhone Case Bullying or IICB. Family members, friends, and total randos think it's OK to come up to me and dismiss my tech accessory because it's not 100% practical. And you know what? It's time to make a case for all these, erm, cases.

We love online shopping—maybe a little too much. Sometimes, we'll find ourselves 37 pages deep into the sale section on Urban Outfitters buying an alien piggy bank at 3 a.m., wondering if we have a problem. Truth is, we probably do, but there is one good thing that comes out of our shopping addiction: our ability to find the weirdest shiz on the internet. Basically, Urban Outfitters' sale section is filled with gems, and by that, we mean insanely ridiculous stuff that no one bought. It's pretty much our favorite place on the internet. So, here are 12 of the most WTF things that you can buy at UO right this second, and, hey, they're all on sale!

Rihanna Rogue

Rihanna's gone rogue, y'all.
Photo: Rihanna's Instagram

Last summer, Rihanna released her fourth fragrance, Rogue, complete with an ad campaign featuring our girl curled up beside a life-size bottle of the scent partially naked with her gams and sultry stare on full display. You might remember it, but you also might not—mostly because Rih is becoming pretty well-known for flashing her skin around like it ain't no thang. (And we're not mad at that!) But, in the UK, the Advertising Standards Authority had a major problem with RiRi's "provocative" campaign.

Bra Over Tee

Photo: Virgin EMI Records

Hope y'all have been stocking up on some killer lingerie because underwear-as-outwear has officially become a thing. Whether it's bra over a tee (like Iggy Azalea in her "Fancy" music video, above), dress, or (gasp!) jacket, no article of clothing is safe from a total undergarment takeover. Don't believe us? Well, we gathered some pretty solid evidence that the resurgence of this trend is in full force. Disclaimer: This isn't a full timeline of every known bra-over-shirt occurrence, but a brief look back at this trend's biggest pop culture/fashion moments in recent history. Also, corsets don't count. Onward!

Prince French Open

No one lives up to their name quite like Prince. The funk lord's outfits are always stage-ready even when he's just chillin' on the sidelines. Today at the French Open, Prince totally stole the show in his relaxed-yet-regal ensemble, which included a white turtleneck worn under an oversized navy jersey with matching flared trousers. (Also, please note the barely-there 'stache. Perfection.) But it's The Purple One's accessory of choice that we think really stole the show. And we're NOT talking about those mirrored aviator sunglasses.

I love these two as a couple. What a festive way to celebrate two important events in their life. Mariah looks like a dream.
