Never mind the fact that we're still dealing with the aftermath of a freaking SNOWSTORM here in New York City right now...for the past few months, our brains have been in full summer mode, flooded with neon, bikinis, and warm weather dreaming thanks to Spring Breakers. And when we learned last week that Opening Ceremony was teaming up with the film's costume designer on a collection inspired by the flick (!!!), it made this winter denial even easier and our obsession with the Harmony Korine flick that much more intense. But here's the good news: we don't have to wait long to sport these hoodies, bracelets, towels, and beachwear, because the collection officially lands at OC this Friday. Oh, and as a bonus, we've got a sneak peek of the goods right here!

If we've learned anything from Fashion Weeks past, performance outfits, and the lyrics themselves, it's that Kanye West, 2 Chainz, and A$AP Mob have their ears to the ground in the fashion scene. Seriously, these guys are CLUED IN, and now, we owe them a huge "thank you" for tipping us off to our newest style obsession, Katie Eary. This London-based designer may only be a few years out of school, but already, she's beloved by rap stars and fashion kids alike. Shortly after graduating from the Royal College of Art, Eary has racked up an insane resume—creating custom pieces for Kate Moss (her first gig!), gaining critical acclaim for her womenswear and menswear lines, and winning a fan base that reads like MTV's Hottest MCs VIII List. The hip hop world is fawning over Eary's decadent designer-meets-streetwear creations, from her gilded skate decks to her graphic separates splashed with digital prints of octopus, goldfish, and screaming cheetahs (which are entirely as awesome as they sound). Want proof of Katie's closerthanclose connection to music? Just this week, 2 Chainz rocked one of her Spring/Summer looks in his new "Crack" music video, she dropped a new fashion film soundtracked by none other than the A$AP Mob, and that's only the beginning. Get the lowdown from the designer herself below!
Angel Haze, Macklemore, and Karen O. sport fringe jackets.

As Macklemore so aptly put it in "Thrift Shop," "John Wayne ain't got nothing on my fringe game." It was true then, and the words are still ringing true now, thanks to the singer's TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY on-point fringe game from SXSW. That Southwest blanket vest-type thing he sported at the Woodies might have a permanent place in our hearts, but the brown fringe number he worked at the Perez Hilton party comes in as a close second, because duh, it's amazing. Paired with a classy polka dot button-up and some layered gold necklaces, the look is a sort of Western gentleman ensemble we can totally get behind. We know, we know...fringe jackets aren't exciting groundbreaking— a quick breeze through your local vintage store or a rundown of Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey's recent music videos will tell you that. But what was old is clearly new again, and there's no better rep of that fact than Angel Haze, whose trimmed topper got a seriously modern edge at SXSW.
Hayley Williams in NYLON's April 2013 issue

You know that sparkly feeling that you get when the stars align, Mercury is FINALLY out of retrograde (um, it's about time), and things just feel right? Yep, it's basically a collision of awesomeness, and that's exactly what happened this afternoon when we got word that Hayley Williams is NYLON magazine's new cover girl. Talk about perfect timing! The Paramore singer fronts the publication's April anniversary issue, which not-so-coincidentally happens to be when the band's fourth album drops (and Hayley's orange MAC collection debuts). Needless to say, this will be a BIG month for Paramore and fans alike, and honestly, we can't really think of a better way to get psyched up.
Full disclosure: ever since we caught an early screening of Spring Breakers on Monday, we literally haven't been able to get Harmony Korine's neon-washed, crazy-sexy-violent action flick out of our heads. But along with being firmly planted in our minds and under our skin (in a good way), it's looking like this movie is going to invade our CLOSETS soon, too, with a new Opening Ceremony collection! Hot on the heels (heh) of Supra's Spring Breakers sneakers, this morning WWD reported that OC is rolling out a line of mesh jerseys, sweatshirts, sweatpants, cropped T-shirts, bikinis, and beach towels inspired by the film. In other words, it's pretty much everything our girls Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine sport onscreen, and the goods conveniently coincide with the movie's nationwide release on March 22.

We usually try to avoid all sorts of uncomfortable situations, but leave it to Aussie foursome San Cisco's breakout single "Awkward" to prove a KEY exception to our tried-and-true rule. While the title may conjure up all sorts of memories you'd rather forget, this track is an indie pop gem, filled with happy-go-lucky beats, a singalong chorus, and a sunny vibe that makes even the most cringeworthy moments seem not so bad. The band has an equally great onstage style, with the boys opting for printed button-downs and tees and drummer Scarlett (the only girl!) rocking out in dresses and bare feet. The quartet is currently on the road across the U.S., but made a pit stop at MTV, where we quizzed 'em them about their tour must-haves, the differences between Australian and American style, and their secret to staying comfy onstage.
It seems like forever ago when we first announced that Rita Ora was replacing Alexa Chung as the new face of Superga—which, in blog years, 6 months totally is— but not to worry, because the singer's official campaign has landed! Rita is the face of the sneaker brand's Spring/Summer 2013 collection, and she Instagrammed a sneak peek of the ads earlier this morning. The debut image shows the pop star-slash-NEXT model chilling in the recording studio wearing the Italian label's classic white low tops. We're already extremely well-aware that Rita Ora is a steadfast sneaker fan, but rather than wearing them with maxi dresses or jumpsuits, this time the singer's paired 'em with lacy pink shorts and an off-the-shoulder sweater.
You know what's even better than those Sky Ferreira and Forever 21 Festival 2013 Capsule Collection photos we showed you last week? OK, even though a massive gift card to buy all the clothes for ourselves would be nice, right now we're actually talking about a fashion movie-meets-music video, starring the singer herself! And yes, it's totally happening. While shooting the ads at The Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs, Sky and the F21 crew also did a little multitasking, crafting a whole new music vid for her super gorgeous single "Lost In My Bedroom." Aptly titled Desert Disco, the sun-drenched clip is THE perfect mashup of the breezy, concert-inspired collection and Sky's catchy soundtrack. In addition to checking out the video, peep our exclusive behind the scenes clip below! Makeup touch-ups, Sky goofing off on-camera...it's all here. So watch the sneak peek, and start your California dreaming early.
A still from Iggy Azalea's 'Work' music video.

Oh, HEY there, Iggy Azalea. You really know how to get our Wednesday started off right! The Australian MC has been dropping sneak peeks of her "Work" music video on Instagram over the past few days, but this morning she finally bestowed the final package upon the internetz. And, as expected, it's a total and complete visual trip jam-packed with Iggy's rad dance moves and an equally covetable wardrobe stocked with Dolce & Gabbana, Jeremy Scott, and, obviously, Louboutins. The cute little "Mini Iggy" might be MIA in the final cut, but we'll get over it... because any music video that kicks off with our girl strutting in the desert like it's her own personal catwalk? Yeah, you know it's going to be good.
A still from Taylor Swift's '22' music video.

You've memorized the words, you've watched Selena Gomez's dance routine about a billion times, and now there's only one more thing to do: grab your besties, because Taylor Swift's new music video for "22" has officially dropped, y'all! The singer premiered the clip to the fun time anthem earlier this morning on Good Morning America, and let's just say it fulfilled our, ahem, highly official checklist of expectations. Tons of friends? Obviously. More than three "happy free confused and lonely at the same time" moments? Duh. Seriously cute accessories, including hipster glasses, a bowler hat, and, um, cat ears? Check! The song's message might be obvious thanks to those tell-all lyrics, but now there's no denying it that Tay also wanted to drive the point home loud and clear through the video's (really cute) clothes. So let's jump right in...the "22" style breakdown begins NOW.
