Rihanna wears a 'Na$ty' sweatshirt while out in Belgium.

It's a good thing that you can never have too many basic grey crewnecks in your closet because Rihanna just convinced us that we need to add YET ANOTHER one to our already overflowing collection. Sigh. But unlike some of RiRi's other outfits, this is a key piece we can actually afford! The pop star was spotted out in Belgium earlier this week (shortly after having dinner with Azzedine Alaia ...what?!) wearing a heather gray sweatshirt emblazoned with the word "Na$ty" across the chest. The top was the perfect cool, casual complement to her black miniskirt and strappy two-toned flats, and it's great news for the rest of us, because we've just tracked down where you can nab it for yourself.
Orly's Shade Shifter polish, mid-color change.

Mood rings might be stashed away with your Lisa Frank trapper keepers from middle school, but now there's a new color-changing product on the market....and this time, nobody has to know when you're feeling angsty. Arriving along with the heat of summer, Orly's rolled out a brand-new nail polish coat that morphs hues as your body temps fluctuate. The beauty company's new Shade Shifter coats might go on dark, but they react with the Orly Gel FX lacquers to become translucent as you get hotter. In other words, your base color becomes revealed when you step outside or move away from the A.C., slowly transitioning from dark to clear (even becoming two-toned and tie dye along the way!). Genius, right?! And, like all gel polishes, they last FOREVER— so you'll have plenty of time to experiment all summer long. Is this the manicure of the future? See how it works in the video below, and let us know if you're willing to give this trend a high five.
Greta Gerwig at the 2013 CFDA Awards.

Greta Gerwig's onscreen alter-ego in the new indie movie Frances Ha might be a little bit bumbling and slightly (OK, really) awkward, but that doesn't make her struggling Brooklyn dancer protagonist any less lovable. In fact, it's these imperfections, along with her off-kilter clothing collection, that keep Frances true to life and SO freaking lovable. Her character's uniform consists mainly of thrifted ill-fitting bomber jackets and leggings over sundresses, but in real life, Greta Gerwig's wardrobe is far from schleppy. The actress, writer, and director has earned rising style star status over the past couple of years, fronting Band of Outsiders' ad campaign, going punk for the Met Gala, and just this week, was a total breath of fresh air dressed in a white pantsuit at the CFDA Awards. Before she takes off to promote Frances Ha overseas, Greta called to chat about the story behind the movie's costumes and her trick to staying sane on the red carpet.
Miley stans turn it up.

We've said it before, and we'll say it again: this is THE week of Miley Cyrus. Although it might not be an "official" holiday (meaning, we still have to go to school and work, womp womp), that's OK because at least we've got Miley's epic new single to keep us entertained until the weekend! The singer dropped "We Can't Stop" on Monday, marking one of the early tiptoes into her long-awaited jump back into music. And we definitely don't have to tell you just how far she's come since her last release (um...hi, remember Can't Be Tamed?). It's only been three years since her previous record, but with her new haircut, revamped image, and envelope-pushing personal style, it might as well be lightyears. Hannah Montana is officially in the past, y'all...THIS is the Miley of the future. We love her, and because we love you, too, we've rounded up the very best Smiler swag to celebrate!
Shay Mitchell on the cover of July's 'ELLE' Canada.
Photo: 'ELLE' Canada
We've got some reallyyyy important news—well, to us, anyway—to discuss this morning, and it involves Pretty Little Liars' very own Shay Mitchell. Sure, we already know the Ontario-born actress is gorgeous. But still! Just LOOK at her brand-new, hot-off-the-presses ELLE Canada cover above and tell us you're not blown away. She absolutely nails that coveted beachy bombshell look, dressed in a colorful criss-cross Peter Pilotto number (the same one Selena Gomez rocked in InStyle!), and sporting mussed-up waves, bold brows, and an orange-red lip. Summer beauty inspiration, anyone?!
Just in case her breakout role as a cheerleader in The Blind Side and all-but-guaranteed star turn in this summer's sci-fi blockbuster The Mortal Instruments aren't enough to convince you of Lily Collins' incredible versatility, her Glamour cameo will DEFINITELY do the trick! The actress is the magazine's July cover girl, and she's going way girly in a printed Dior bustier and skirt. Holding two different pink heels and working a high ponytail, this ultra-feminine look is a far cry from her committed Met Gala goth ensemble just a few weeks ago, that's for sure. And not surprisingly, Lily pulls 'em both off perfectly. This isn't the first time the 24-year-old has showed off her fashion stuff for Glamour, either—she made her first appearance almost a year ago—but it's a testament to her major star power (and style!) that this time, she's nabbed some PRIME glossy real estate.
Ke$ha wears The Blonds' embellished onepiece on tour.

We might be suffering from My Crazy Beautiful Life withdrawal these days, but don't worry—our girl Ke$ha hasn't vanished from our hearts entirely. In fact, the pop star has been KILLING IT on her tour with Pitbull these past few weeks, and, in true form, has been keeping her fashion game predictably outrageous as well. She's recruited New York label The Blonds to craft her glittery, traffic-stopping ensembles for the stage, so you KNOW they're going to be awesome. After all, we're already obsessed with the design duo thanks to their consistently rad runway collections and covetable nail art. But now that they've staked claim to Selena Gomez, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, AND Ke$ha's recent performance looks? Get ready for world domination! Considering she's been sporting The Blonds' daring pieces since way back in 2010, Ke$ha's no stranger to collaborating with the team...but judging from the glittery one-piece above, something tells us that THIS time around, they're going even crazier. As the designers tell People StyleWatch of the partnership, “It was a complete collaboration. We discussed textures, elements and colors that have a connection with her personal tastes and the music in some way,” they say, “The result was stunning.”
We might as well go ahead and officially proclaim this week as Miley Cyrus Week around these parts of the internet, because YOU GUYS. Her new single is finally here! And now that we've had a full 24 hours to truly digest her summer party anthem "We Can't Stop", we're back with an MTV News exclusive clip from the star. Our cameras followed Miley on the day of her single release, which included hitting up Ryan Seacrest in LA, visiting Twitter HQ in Silicon Valley, and obviously hanging out with fans. The MTV team also got the scoop from the singer herself on how her image has changed since her Hannah Montana days, and how her post-pixie cut re-invention is on her OWN terms. As Miley shares with the cameras in between outfit changes (she's wearing both a striped Marc Jacobs shorts suit and killer printed pants and black tank in the clip), "I am a self-proclaimed party animal, but I also am the hardest-working person you'll ever know." No argument there!
Emma Watson at the premiere of "This Is The End" in Los Angeles.

Long before "The Karlie," before Rihanna's cut, and even before Miley Cyrus' epic chop, Emma Watson proved her own beauty chameleon steez back in 2008 when she lopped off her Hermione locks in favor of a closed-cropped pixie. Although the actress may have started the process of growing it back—and even sports long hair with fringe in The Bling Ring!—she's still into switching things up, as she proved last night at the premiere of This Is The End. The star, who makes a cameo in the apocolyptic comedy, nailed her premiere look per usual in a Roland Mouret bustier and 3.1 Phillip Lim skinny trousers. But fashion business aside, right now we've GOT to talk about her faux bob. With a deep side part, serious shine, and an effortless curl underneath, Emma's chin-length (temporary) new look just might be the most practical style ever for the summer, and here's why.
So, you thought that the Met Gala was the only Fashion (because a capital "F" is totally necessary here) event this summer?! Think again. All the dresses from last month's "Punk: Chaos to Couture" gala may still be fresh in everyone's memories, but another equally stylish party took place last night in New York City—and while it might not be themed, the boundary-pushing glamour definitely didn't disappoint. We're talking about the CFDA Awards, held by The Council of Fashion Designers of America in honor of the best emerging creatives in womenswear, menswear, accessories, and more. Just like the Met Gala, many of the attendees brought celeb dates, who pulled out ALL the fashion stops. But who looked the best? See our top picks below!
HAILEE STEINFELD IN SUNO

There's absolutely no doubt that Hailee Steinfeld is one of the fashion world's newest darlings, and EVERYBODY wants a piece of the 16-year-old actress. She attended last month's Met Gala decked out in dramatic Donna Karan, but last night, she kept things fresh in a shimmery floral two-piece by Suno. The subtle crop top (you can barely see a sliver of tummy!) and the tea length skirt add a dash of formality, whereas her effortless side part and bright lip keep things young and fresh. She might barely have her drivers license, but who cares? Age ain't nothing but a number, and Hailee, we'll take style notes from you any day.
