Whether you're going off of award wins (Grammys, VMAs, BET, check!), albums sold (8 million-plus since 1999, NBD) or even her indisputable fashion cred, there's no denying it: Eve is one seriously intimidating lady. While her insane list of accomplishments is enough to out-cool approximately 99% of the population, the superstar is actually way more relatable than her Wikipedia page would lead you to believe. We learned this recently when the Ruff Ryder's First Lady stopped by MTV to talk about her new album and how her style has changed since those "Gangsta Lovin'" days.

angel haze grimes

Grimes and Angel Haze perform at last night's Versus Versace event in New York City.
Photo: Via Versace Google +

When Donatella Versace decides to throw a party, this is a lady who definitely doesn't do things halfway—she goes big, and last night's New York City bash was no exception. Held in celebration of the Italian label's Versus Versace collection and new capsule line with Brit design hotshot JW Anderson, the fête was cool enough to give pretty much anyone a massive case of FOMO. There were parading models in lots of leather and even some dudes in crop tops, but you know what's even more eye-popping than THAT? Grimes and Angel Haze in their amazing performance outfits, obviously. Donatella's a lady who definitely loves her musicians (hi, Lady Gaga!), so it's no surprise that she has her ear tuned into the latest crop of superstars. Grimes cranked up the glamour in a glittery granite-hued skirt and a top adorned with Versace's trademark lion logo, but kept things grounded—literally—with black combat boots. Then there's Angel, who proved that she really does run New York dressed in an oversized button-up splashed with blingy gold prints. The two artists' performance outfits may have been on opposite ends of the fashion spectrum, but they DID have one thing in common: each girl showed off Versace's signature medallion necklace with her look.

miley cyrus

Yep, that's Miley Cyrus in a leopard turban by Cult Gaia.
Photo: @MileyCyrus Twitter/ Cult Gaia

Anyone who's been following Miley Cyrus gets it. This is a girl who ALWAYS has her foot firmly planted at least six steps ahead of the pack, trend-wise. Remember her Beetlejuice stripes obsession in pants, dress, and jumpsuit form?! It was only a matter of time before everyone else followed suit. Or what about how committed she was to the Met Gala's punk theme in fishnet Marc Jacobs? And we can't ever forget the fact Miley got a head start on fellow stars like Rihanna and Lena Dunhum with her jawdropping pixie cut almost a year ago. While Miley has flaunted about every incarnation imaginable of the short style since then— slicked, side-parted, ski jump, straight up— now she's incorporated accessories into the mix. The singer tweeted an image of herself posing in the studio yesterday decked out in a lime green blouse, "Doll" nameplate necklace, white shades, and a leopard turband (yep, that's the official name). With a knot in front and a skinny, stretchy fabric, this turban-headband hybrid just miiiight be our new hair secret weapon. You can nab Miley's animal print version for $60 at Cult Gaia, but we've rounded up even more options below!

Rihanna

Rihanna showed off her new lighter weave last night in LA.
Photo: Splash/ Getty Images

Whew, anyone else feeling tired?! It's only Wednesday, and it's already been a whirlwind week in Rihanna-land, between her "#CCcertified" Kaiser tee, her new River Island sneak peek video and then, less than 24 hours ago, the campaign itself. Not to mention, those photos that surfaced yesterday of the singer rocking a platinum bob! Although the 'do later turned out to be a wig, that's not the only hair change RiRi has up her sleeve these days. Last night, she sent L.A. paparazzi into a frenzy with her brand new long, glossy, blonde weave. With a reverse ombré hue and Barbie-worthy waves, let's just cut to the chase and say we're officially obsessed.

solange

Solange in the June/July issue of "Complex".
Photo: JUCO/ Courtesy of "Complex"

It doesn't matter whether she's rocking brick print suits in her music video for "Losing You" or breathing new life into tired festival fashion at SXSW, Solange Knowles looks good in pretty much everything. Seriously, though, has this girl EVER had a bad outfit? *crickets* Yeah, that's what we thought. So given her fashion cred, it should come as a surprise to pretty much nobody that the über-talented younger Knowles sister has landed herself yet another magazine cover, this time for Complex. The publication's self-proclaimed "sexy but classy cover shoot" shows Solange sporting her signature red-orange lipstick and gazing straight up against the bold blue background. The minimalist profile shot is compelling enough on its own, but flip inside the issue and it gets even better, like Solange lounging upon plastic-covered chairs in colorblocked separates. See even more awesomeness below!

Mark McNairy, Pharrell

Mark McNairy and Pharrell.

Pharrell and Mark McNairy's individual clothing lines are awesome enough on their own, but when these two team up?! You can BET they're going to blow it right out of the ballpark. After all, the design duo has done it in the past with their collaborative Bee Line brand of graphic tees, striped button-ups, and varsity jackets. But now P. and McNairy's worlds of streetwear and menswear are colliding yet again for a slick new collection of BBC goods...and this time, they're going dark. The producer, singer, designer and all-around multi-hyphenate has recruited the McNasty maestro for BBC Black, a capsule of monochromatic pieces that are anything but basic. Melding military fabrics with slouchy-yet-tailored cuts, the line's entirely black colorway means that the focus stays on the clothing's streetwear silhouette, while still keeping things clean and crisp. Get more details on the line from Pharrell and McNairy below!

Hayley Williams

Hayley Williams at the Radio 104.5 Birthday Show this weekend.
Photo: Getty Images

Anyone who's seen her all-orange MAC makeup collab already knows that Hayley Williams is a TOTAL daredevil when it comes to her onstage performance makeup. If you ask us, the flame-haired singer is one of the few people in the world who can rock bright coral eyeshadow and tangerine lipstick—together!—and not look like she got ready in the dark. In fact, she manages to look, well, unexpectedly awesome?! But leave it to the Paramore frontwoman to push the beauty boundaries yet again this weekend, swapping classic makeup go-tos like winged eyeliner for smudgy paint splashed all over her face and arms. During Paramore's epic performance at Radio 104.5's birthday show in New Jersey, it's honestly hard to tell which was more attention-grabbing: the band's high-flying rendition of "Misery Business," or Hayley's bright blue face paint across her eyes. Who knows, she might be taking cues from previous face paint offenders like Lady Gaga or Ke$ha or even classic icons like David Bowie, but Hayley's clearly owning the look herself.

Macklemore, Ryan Lewis

A still from Avril Lavigne's 'Here's To Never Growing Up' music video.
Photo: Epic Records

Prom season is upon us, you guys, and it looks like everyone, even Avril Lavigne, is getting into the spirit! The singer just premiered the video for her exuberant summer anthem "Here's To Never Growing Up" this morning, and it's every bit as nostalgia-inducing and fun-loving as the title suggests. She told MTV News earlier this week that her band swapped the clip's original theme for prom, because that way "we can dress up, the band can be in cool tuxedos," and boy, we're glad they did. When else would we be able to bear witness to Avril and her crew donning formalwear onstage (tulle dress and gold crown included)?! They might not be the most realistic fake prom band, per se, but that's definitely NOT the point. This vid's all about rocking out, not caring, and, duh, being young. Plus, with more than one Radiohead reference and—spoiler alert!—a complete revival of that "Complicated" outfit, Avril's clearly channeling her highschool self. Intrigued? Take a trip down memory lane and get the full style breakdown below!

Hayley Williams talked music and fashion with Topshop.
Photo: via Topshop

Given the fact that many of us have grown up alongside Paramore (and still can recite the lyrics to "Misery Business" by heart, NBD), there's a LOT we already know about frontwoman Hayley Williams. She has a killer tights game, for example. And despite the fact that she's one of few people in the world who can pull off tangerine makeup, she still released an all-orange MAC collection for the masses (and we think that if we wear it, we'll somehow look like Hayley Williams... sigh). Not to mention, this girl loves affordable, easy fashion. She even sports it on the red carpet and looks totally awesome amidst the sea of sequins and mini-dresses. Whether it's a Zara jumpsuit or that Topshop "Dweeb" shirt, leave it to the singer to make shopping at the mall cool. But despite all these tidbits of information we've collected about Hayley and the guys over the years, turns out there's some stuff we STILL need to be schooled on, and our friends at Topshop are here to help. The U.K. brand quizzed the star on her tour essentials, style icons, and more...and no matter how much you THINK you know Hayley, the answers might surprise you. Get the scoop below!

NikeiD's Customizable Liberty shoes.
Photo: Courtesy of Nike

Shhh, you hear that? It's your shoe closet BEGGING you to add more printed sneaks to your collection. OK, maybe that's not what's really happening here, but you don't need to tell anyone that! Consider it all the excuse neccessary to join us in obsesssing over NIKEiD's new Liberty London goods. The sneaker giant has teamed up with the U.K. heritage label yet again on a line of flower power shoes—and while we've already called them out for kicking it up (heh) on the technology front with their sneaker wedges, this collab marks a very personal twist. NIKEiD, the special section of the brand that allows you to customize the shoes, has added Liberty's pretty florals to its arsenal of patterns and colors.
