Selena Gomez performs at the 2011-12 Disney Kids and Family Upfront in New York on March 16, Kendall Jenner models for Sherri Hill.

We already know that Jersey Shore gal Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is a huge fan of prom dress designer Sherri Hill, and she's not alone when it comes to celebs latching on to the formal frock retailer. Just last month, Khloe Kardashian shared pictures of her not-so-baby sister, Kendall Jenner, modeling for the brand in a sparkly, studded bustier top and tulle skirt combo. And looky look who picked the same dress to perform in? Selena Gomez went with a white version at the 2011-12 Disney Kids and Family Upfront in New York on March 16, but added skinny spaghetti halter straps. Picking a fave between these stylish teens is no easy task since both look gorge, and while we are huuuge fans of Selena's overall style and taste, we're going to have to go with Ms. Jenner on this one. We appreciate how she accessorized with a necklace that adds a little sumthin' sumthin,' but doesn't take away from the embellished top. And if we're going to be honest (which we always are), then we have to admit we like it in the black color better. It just feels a little less ice-skater-turned-princess and more elegant and chic.

Teeter-tottering on giant platforms is one spring trend we can't live without (especially on a bare leg), and judging from the mile-long pins of Fearne Cotton, Whitney Port and Jennifer Hudson, our favorite starlets can't either. This look has been all over the runway this past fash week, with stacked heels, wild wedges, and even flatforms (think the love child between the former two), and now they're all over the red carpet. British TV presenter Fearne Cotton stepped out in steep sandals from her own clothing and shoe line, and we absolutely ahhhdore the hot peach color. Also hawking her own wares was Whitney Port, who posed in these glittering silver wedges while showing her Whitney Eve Fall 2011 line in Los Angeles. And we were blown away by Jennifer Hudson's sick two-tone purple and pink snakeskin ankle straps that she performed in last week. We're obsessed with the power of platforms, but who stands out the strongest—and tallest—to you?

Debby Ryan in Cynthia Steffe at the 2011 Disney Kids & Family upfront in New York on March 16.
Photo: WireImage/Revolve Clothing

Seventeen-year-old Disney megastar Debby Ryan looked stunning in this strapless, raspberry Cynthia Steffe dress earlier this week. And while Debby chose to pair hers with a fitted leather moto and well-worn badass platform booties (and socks), we think the tiered skirt and the sash would look awesome for prom. We'd probably steer clear of too many accessories (though a number of stacked cuffs or bracelets would complement it perfectly) but maaaaaybe do something interesting in the way of a black (possibly velvet) platform (possibly upwards of 4 inches) T-strap heel. Cop it here.

Deena Nicole Cortese on 'Jersey Shore,' Ashley Greene in Los Angeles on March 10, Charlize Theron in Los Angeles on March 12.
Photo: MTV/INFDaily/GSI Media

Last night on Jersey Shore, DJ Pauly D set his roomie Deena straight by telling her that her all denim ensemble was decidedly NOT cool, and hasn't been for years. Which got us to thinking. That might not exactly be true, as Deena isn't the only one we've spotted rocking head-to-toe denim recently. In fact, some of Hollywood's trendiest have stepped out in the once taboo Texas (or Canadian) tuxedo. And actually pulled it off (#gasp #soundofjawhittingfloor). Here's why. Both Ashley Greene and Charlize Theron werrked the denim-on-denim look by going for crisp, tailored cuts and avoiding the cheesy, acid-washed, vom-inducing washes that earned this ensemble a bad rap. Both ladies opted to counter their light, airy chambray shirts with flats and ink dark denim which creates a nice color-counterbalance. Choosing the skinny cut is also super flattering against the tops' looser feel. And while we're normally not one for tucking in shirts, Charlize's noncommittal half tuck on her Current/Elliott button-down is casually cute. As for Deena, well, we don't hate you, gurl. We appreciate your romper and love that silhouette for spring. But next time, try a chambray shirt like Ashley or Charlize.

You guys. Spring is soo close. And there's just something about impending sunshine, warm breezes, and flowers blossoming that make us want to dig out our girliest gear and skip down the street. OK, maybe that would overdo it a tad, but after a long, harsh winter we're ready for a wardrobe mood lift. And it seems some of our favorite style blogs are on board too. We came across three lovely ladies whose frilly, tiered frocks channeled that loving, spring-time feeling we've been missing. Rachelle Morgan of Discovering Elegance, Folake Huntoon of Style Pantry, and Sara Johnson of Isabella's Fashion all created ensembles with fiercely feminine silhouette thanks to tiers upon tiers of ruffled sweetness.

Rachelle Morgan of Discovering Elegance
Blog: Twitter: @chellemorgan.
There's a lot going on with Rachelle's look — patterned tights, leather jacket, scarves, lace, thigh-highs — wowza! It's a wonder her tiered lace Zara skirt wasn't completely overshadowed. Instead it acts as the centerpiece, tying together vastly different elements in a cohesive and unique way. The layers of lace are a distinctively sweet contrast to the abrasive feel of her biker jacket and kick-your-ass boots, while the soft fabrics of her tee, scarf, and rose embroidered tights play up her ladylike qualities. But wait! There's more! Girlfriend's skirt is ACTUALLY a dress in disguise. What a sneaky surprise. Multipurpose outfit items are the absolute best. Covet.

Folake Huntoon of Style Pantry
Blog: Twitter: @stylepantry.
Folake's long flowing tulle tiers of petal pink prettiness make us feel like she should be modeling cupcakes or chasing bunnies because it's just so soft and delicate. We also absolutely adore the fact that this skirt is a maxi instead of a run-of-the-mill short tiered mini available anywhere. She simultaneously dresses it up by teaming it with classy-lady pearls, yet keeps it casual with a sassy, tied-up chambray top. And did we mention that Anat B. clutch yet?! Hulloooo, gorgeous. Seeing Folake play up these blue, pink, and yellow hues has us breaking out mid-skip into an all-out sprint.

Sara Johnson of Isabella's Fashion
Blog: Twitter: @isafashionblog.
Sara, a fashion student from upstate New York, took the all-over tiered approach with her purple ombre cotton shift for a silhouette that carries across her entire ensemble. She also makes her Erin Fetherston for Target dress seasonally transitional by wearing it with a chunky rib knit sweater, cozy scarf, and boots. So if the air out there still has some bite to it, take note and layer it on like Sara. The tiers will still poke through and provide plenty of personality, color, and chic charm.

Lela Rose, Halston Heritage, and BCBG Max Azria Wedding Dresses available at
Photo: Shopbop

When we first heard that one of our fave online retailers,, was the latest to get in on the bridal game, we got all googly-eyed. Big dreamy designers like Lela Rose! Halston! BCBG Max Azria! All at a click's reach ranging from the VERRRY affordable $195 to the reasonable-for-a-wedding-dress-but-still-sorta-expensive $5,000 in short, long, fashion-forward, and classic styles. But then we backtracked. Not because we're not exactly, technically, anywhere near an engagement (idle dress dreaming is innate for the ladies regardless of whether you've nabbed a ring. #thatsanotherdaydream), but because who would agree to buy the "most important dress of your life etc. etc." online without EVER trying it on first?! That's a pretty big gamble. So unless this is a Vegas-style impromptu throwdown, we're guessing it's one most people aren't willing to take. Then again, any gown will need major alterations. So is the risk worth saving some bucks and snagging a big name designer within five to seven business days? What say you? We're torn. Chime in in the comments!

+ Would you buy your wedding dress online? Or would you ONLY say "Yes to the Dress" in person?

Lindsay Lohan at a courthouse hearing in Los Angeles on March 10, Jennifer Hudson performs at the 2011 Nickelodeon Upfront Presentation in New York on March 10.
Photo: Getty Images

Well, here are two celebrities we never expected to dress alike, let alone to include their names in the same sentence. Yet by some mysterious force, Lindsay Lohan and Jennifer Hudson both wore nude-hued short leather dresses on Thursday. Who knew that LiLo and J. Hud had such similar taste? For a courthouse appearance in Los Angeles, Lindsay donned a Raquel Allegra dress, which she teamed with Chanel booties and Dior shades. Meanwhile, Jennifer, who performed at a Nickelodeon event in New York City, went sans sleeves in her caramel-colored A-line Chloe shift. Choosing between these is a toughie, but we're going to have to go with Jennifer, who's been looking off-the-charts-amazing, and her amethyst platforms are KILLER. Plus, we gotta give the songstress props for looking good without a court order. Sorry, Linds.

Kat Graham in Loriblu on March 9, Amanda Seyfried in Lanvin on March 7, Blake Lively in Christian Louboutin on March 5

Um, can we please take a moment and appreciate the gorgeousness that is the ankle wrap situation displayed here by Kat Graham, Amanda Seyfried, and Blake Lively? Hot daaaaaaamn, ladies! Well played. Let's break these stellar steppers down, shall we? Because these are not your average, run-of-the-mill shoe closures, and for that, we applaud you. Slowly. While plotting to steal your stuff. Kat's neon yellow and black polka-dotted Loriblu heels brought a bright burst of color, but it was the thick ankle cuff that really caught our eye. We also swooned over the hardware of Amanda's double-tied leather and wood Lanvin sky-high stilettos, while Blake stepped out in Christian Louboutin's golden-tassel adorned wrap sandals that managed to jockey for attention despite her glittery couture dress. We absolutely adore all of these ankle embellishments, but which closure do you covet most?

Nubia Mejia, Annie Li, and Stella Eneanya.

OK, so here's the thing. Harem pants can actually be cool. We know, we know; they will always and forever be associated with Mister M.C. Hammer himself, but they're seeing a maaaajor trend resurgence of late that could change everything. And after seeing these three stylish bloggers take a stab at it, we're willing to give these roomy trousers a try. Nubia Mejia of Nubia's Nonsense, Annie Li of Skirts And Skins, and Stella Eneanya of J'adore Fashion all demonstrate how uniquely adaptable this look can be. 'Can't touch this' (har, har,) just yet? Read on and we're pretty sure you'll switch your 'tude.

Nubia Mejia of Nubia's Nonsense
Blog: Twitter: @nubiasnonsense.
Girl's got a lot going on in this outfit. With her patterned top, sheer/fur bolero and red braided vintage rope belt, Nubia's choice to go the way of the harem is a bold one. But by making her lower half monochromatic and slyly tucked into boots, she's able to balance out the busy feel of her top without sacrificing any personality. The high waist of the Forever 21 pant cinches her teeny-tiny waist into a beautifully feminine silhouette.

Annie Li of Skirts And Skin
Annie earns major kudos for taking on the high risk factor of velveteen as her fabric of choice. And luckily, it pays off. The slim, tapered leg prevents the trousers (by Necessary) from overtaking her frame, especially when compounded by a baggy tee. We also love the sheer, polka dot cutout print of her Forever 21 top. It adds a fun detail to an otherwise minimal look. Harem brings a lot of punch on its own, so there's no need to pile on too many extra details.

Stella Eneanya of J'adore Fashion
Blog: Twitter: @JadoreFashions.
Here's another look we covet. Stella's plaid pants (also Forever 21!) are the standout piece here, so we applaud her for keeping the rest of her look simple to complement that. Her turquoise jewelry is juuust the right amount of color and contrast without overshadowing the pants, which do all the talking here (and have a lot to say). Plus, this outfit proves that the general fear of harem pants swallowing your legs up whole is completely unfounded. Look how long and elegant Stella's gams are. Case closed.

Hailee Steinfeld, Jennifer Lawrence, and Mila Kunis at the Miu Miu Ready to Wear Autumn/Winter 2011/2012 show during Paris Fashion Week on March 9.
Photo: Getty Images

Awards season is finally over, and after months of red carpet elbow-rubbing, we'd think nominees Hailee Steinfeld, Jennifer Lawrence, and Mila Kunis would be completely sick of each other. Apparently not. The girls reunited at the Miu Miu Paris Fashion Week show this morning looking both chummy and ah-mazing. Hailee continues to KILL it, this time in a ruffled cream, long-sleeve frock that's both chic and age-appropriate, per usual (Taylor Momsen, she is not #thankgoodness). Jennifer channeled her red-hot Oscar gown in this structured, shimmering mini in the same hue, while our obsession with Mila continues to rage thanks to this oh-so gorge black, beaded bubble skirt. Are these former rivals new-found BFFs? Or are they frienemies who are seething at constantly being clumped together? We hope it's the former, but in this case, Hailee is our favorite, thanks to her slick pony, leopard clutch, and Mary-Jane pumps (quadruple straps! sigh). We'd be jealous of her wise-beyond-her-years fashion sense if we weren't so insanely in awe of it. *slow clap*
