What's better than a little One Direction? A LOT of One Direction. We've been playing the colossally famous boy band's "Best Song Ever" music video on repeat for the past week, ogling their Teen Vogue AND British GQ cover steez and placing pre-orders for their glittery nail polish. You'd think we would have reached our 1D saturation point by now, but apparently, that's not actually a thing. So far, it's physically impossible for us to get our fill of Harry, Zayn, Liam, Niall, and Louis. Enter this behind-the-scenes cut from the dudes' music video shoot which gives a look at their "Best Song Ever" alter ego makeovers.
Have you stared at the sketches of Beyonce's Mrs. Carter Show tour wardrobe a thousand times? Memorized the placement of every sequin and chiffon ruffle? Written strongly worded letters to Stuart Weitzman that it's about time they start carrying her stage heels and booties in stores? Well, now you have yet another style-related avenue to Stan out about King Bey's international tour: beauty. Thanks to makeup artist Sir John who's traveling and pretty-making in the name of Mrs. Carter, we're that much closer to maybe someday unlocking the secrets to Beyonce's consummate gorgeousness.
One Direction on the cover of "Teen Vogue."

Look, guys! It's One Direction on the cover of Teen Vogue! Feel like you're having déjà vu? Pretty sure you remember 1D JUST posing for the The Fashion Bible's younger sister really recently? Welp, you're not alone. And you're not wrong, either! The world's most adorable Brit-Irish boy band is gracing the cover of Teen Vogue for a second time, less than a year after the group's first appearance. Back in winter, Teen Vogue gave Harry, Zayn, Liam, Niall, and Louis individual covers swaddled in tweeds and wool knits—"Hot Holiday Style" was the predominant cover line. Now, the teen glossy has the dudes (deservedly) back for their September issue (a.k.a. the Super Bowl issue of the fashion editorial world)!
Miley Cyrus' "Protect The Skin You're In" t-shirt.

Back in June, we hooked Miley Cyrus up with an arsenal of Smiler Stan Swag to rep for their favorite girl. It's a pretty thorough haul (we think) with a lot of different options no matter your taste, but this brand new Marc Jacobs "Skin" tee might trump them all. The shirt is manufactured and sold for the explicit purpose of raising awareness and funds for skin cancer research, and all proceeds from its sale will be donated to NYU Skin Cancer Institute.
Selena Gomez wears leather pants at the airport and performing for "Good Morning America."

OK, apparently no one is even remotely concerned about wearing leather in the dead of summer anymore. Not Miley Cyrus. Not Justin Bieber. Not Ciara. And now, we can add Selena Gomez to the list. This morning, the pop star flew into New York City wearing leather sweatpants and continued wearing them right through to her OUTDOOR Good Morning America performance. *dabs sweat off upper lip*

Little Monsters, get your paws all. the way. UP. Lady Gaga is BACK! And we don't mean that just in the sense that ARTPOP is on a speeding train to your ears very soon. Mother Monster is making her epic return to the VMAs, not just attending but performing. That's right, folks. The premiere performance of Gaga's first ARTPOP single is happening live at the 2013 VMAs (Sunday, August 25, 9 p.m. ET) on the Barclays Center stage. *head explodes into a mushroom cloud of glitter* Talk about huge news! As anyone who has ever watched an award show at which Gagaloo was in attendance can attest, Stefani does not mess around when it comes to event attire, and the MTV Video Music Awards are an extra special case. Gaga's VMA fashion history isn't very long, but in just a handful of years, she's been responsible for some of the most iconic style moments of the past decade. In preparation for her 2013 return, we're looking back at all of Lady Gaga's VMA outfits. Ever.
2009: NECK BRACE BAROQUE

Gaga's first VMA experience was in 2009 (the last time the show was held in New York). Amidst the go-to sparkly mini dresses typical of stars at the time, she ruffled feathers (literally!) in a lace floor-length Jean Paul Gaultier gown worn with a gold House of Blue Eyes half-mask and a black, opulently feathered, intricately detailed Keko Hainswheeler neck brace situation.
If there's anyone who knows how to commit to a theme, it's Katy Perry. When we first caught wind of her forthcoming Killer Queen fragrance—the "California Gurl's third scent, if you're counting—we just KNEW we were in for a campaign dripping in gobs of crazy opulence, louche regal status, and at least a hint of KP's signature flavor of camp. We saw the bottle, a pointed fragrance grenade modeled after the top of a scepter which is meant to lay on its side, back in May when Katy revealed her new perfume project just ahead of the 2013 Met Gala, but since then, we haven't heard much about it (save an extensive interview about it with WWD earlier this month).
Would you wear this nose jewel cuff?
So, earlier this week, Lady Gaga revealed that she's the proud owner of a brand new septum piercing. Her return to the spotlight means a few things. Yea, new music. Sure, new Terry Richardson photoshoots. But what we're probably most excited for are the new, inventive outfits and trends that we'll inevitably start trying to incorporate thanks to her keen sartorial eye. Are septum piercings one of those new trends? We don't know yet. Could it be? Definitely. Especially if ASOS and this nose cuff have anything to do with it.

You know One Direction, right? Cute, smiley boy band from across the pond? Infectious pop songs? Impeccable hair?
