Last night at the Middle Men premiere in Los Angeles, three lovely ladies all showed up wearing black outfits that had sheer elements to them. Selma Blair looked classic and pretty in a strapless black dress with a sheer overlay by Stella McCartney and paired it with a chunky cuff and burgundy clutch. Stephanie Pratt looked edgy and chic and a black body-con dress with a sheer top covered only by two strategically-placed black panels in the front. (How revealing! We can see her bellybutton ring!) We LOVE it. But our favorite was Laura Ramsey, who stars in the movie. She looked super modern and cool in a black jumpsuit with sheer lace panels, oversize gray clutch, and nude booties. We're loving her hair up, too!

+ Which sheer look do you like the most — Selma, Stephanie, or Laura?

P.S.: Look at the guy who photobombed Stephanie Pratt's picture ... he seemed to love her dress as much as we did, don't you think? Read More...

We're not sure if there's a Hollywood rule that you don't Make It as a celebrity until you slap your name on a perfume bottle and convince people to smell like you. But there must be, because everyone's doing it, and frankly, it may as well be a rite of passage. And this fall is no different. Which is why we've been tracking all the celebrity fragrances — from singers only — that are set to his in the next few months (if they haven't already) and the five to watch. See the list below.

Avon party on August 4, BET Awards on June 27.

Fergie is a flapper! At least, she like flaps on her dresses, particularly in the hip area. Last night, at the launch party for her Avon Outspoken fragrance in Newark, New Jersey, she wore a black dress with ochre panels on both sides of her body. Typically, these are amazing slimming colors when worn together, except the light-hued ruffles that draped down the front of her hips and over her rump counterbalanced the whole optical illusion effect. And she's done this before. At the BET Awards in June, Fergie wore a black and white paneled dress with a tailcoat down the back by Antonio Berardi. Are you as puzzled as we are by her obsession with these extra-material dresses? Especially, when she looks so amazing minus the hip/butt flaps, like in something like this.

+ Do you like her extra-emphasized assets? Or should she drop the flaps?

Taylor Momsen performed at the launch party for Madonna's new clothing line for Macy's last night in New York (she's the face of the line). Usually, she wears heavy eye-makeup for her performances (see above left), but last night she kept her eyeliner choices mysterious behind a pair of round shades. But that wasn't all that was different. Momsen ditched the garter-belt style she's been rocking all summer and wore black over-the-knee boots and a pair of pants. YES, PANTS. But once one thing goes on, another comes off! Instead of a full-length top, she wore a cropped, navel-exposing black bustier, which she covered with a black Material Girl motorcycle jacket. Well, you can't keep a girl from wearing her underwear as outerwear if she really wants to, that's for sure.

+ Which Taylor look do you prefer — garter belt or pants?

At the premiere, and at the after-party.

Designers are always interested in dressing Eva Mendes, so we're always looking to see what she picked for her red carpet looks. And last night, we were so lucky to see her in TWO different dresses — double duty! First, she wore a gray Oscar de la Renta dress with a full skirt and black slingback heels by Sergio Rossi to the New York premiere of The Other Guys. While she looked chic in this dress, we were more than a little distracted by the extra padding around her hips. And it didn't have to be that way! That skirt is detachable! She could've just took it off, especially because it hides her frame, which, if we remember correctly, looks like this. However, for the after-party, she went for a more form-fitting look by switching into a colorful printed frock with brown, white, yellow, and magenta swatches, which she paired with rose-colored suede pumps by Brian Atwood. We definitely like the printed dress better. It's so much more fun!

+ Which dress do you like more on Eva — solid or print?

We love summer weddings, but most of all we love looking at the wedding dresses of our favorite celebs. Carrie Underwood, Megan Fox, Miranda Kerr, Emily Blunt, Lala Vasquez, and Penelope Cruz all took turns walking down the aisle this summer, and now two more big-name ladies followed suit: Chelsea Clinton and Alicia Keys. And while their life paths are totally different, they do have one thing in common — both chose the designer Vera Wang to make their gowns. Let's discuss ... Read More...
