Raiding The 'Harry Potter' Cast's Closets: Our Style Idol, Luna Lovegood

The biggest thing to happen to cinema OF ALL TIME (Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2, natch) is TONIGHT (midnight, y'all!), so to keep up to snuff with the Wizarding World, MTV Style counts down which Harry Potter characters' closets we'd most like to raid.

So far, we got psyched on Fleur Delacour, the green goodness of Rita Skeeter, and then allowed ourselves to practice the dark arts with Bellatrix Lestrange. And then there were two, so Hermione Granger lent some inspiration. But our most covetable wizarding closet belongs to the mistress of the eclectic and lighthearted—the quirky and cool Luna Lovegood (and her human counterpart, Evanna Lynch).

The biggest thing to happen to cinema OF ALL TIME (Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2, natch) is just days away, so to keep up to snuff with the Wizarding World, MTV Style counts down which Harry Potter characters' closets we'd most like to raid.

So far, we got psyched on Fleur Delacour, the green goodness of Rita Skeeter, and then allowed ourselves to practice the dark arts with Bellatrix Lestrange. And then there were two, and no Harry Potter roundup would ever be complete without the brilliant and inspiring Hermione Granger (and her equally stunning real-life counterpart, Emma Watson).

The biggest thing to happen to cinema OF ALL TIME (Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2, natch) is just days away, so to keep up to snuff with Wizarding World, MTV Style counts down which Harry Potter characters' closets we'd most like to raid.

So far, we got psyched on Fleur Delacour and the green goodness of Rita Skeeter, but as we enter the final three, we have to give love to the dark side of Bellatrix Lestrange, and the incredible Helena Bonham Carter.

Cartoon Signs A Modeling Contract, We Pick More Fashion Spokestoons

From Betty Boop to Jessica Rabbit, there has been no shortage of gorgeous, tantalizingly drawn female cartoons. They are the perfect model: they'll fit in what they wear, are able to exist in ridiculous proportions, and almost never fall down when walking the catwalk. But fortunately their real-life counterparts haven’t had to deal with the vastly superior 2-D renderings. Until now.

Premier Model Management has just signed Polly Bean, who is a skinny and droll doodle done by London-based cartoonist Neil Kerber. Kerber dresses Bean in the latest looks (we hear she gets them for free, lucky thing) and has been seen in Philip Treacy, Valentino, and custom (CUSTOM) Prada eyeglasses. And now that she’s got real, official representation, we’re sure she’ll land a campaign or two this fall. This is a stunning turn of events for all cartoons, and since Polly is all the rage, we’ve picked four other 2-D females who should get scooped by modeling agencies, stat. Once they’ve inked their own deals, we’ve picked the designer who we know will outfit them first.

Well, then. Our apologies, Style readers. Somewhere in the deep recesses of our minds, we were like, "Obviously we have written about Chris Evans. That would make sense, for he is a hot dude who always looks like a dapper young fellow." Except we were wrong. We have never allowed that tree trunk of a man, who so frequently attends red carpets in perfectly pressed Dockers and vintage boat shoes, grace our Hot Dude Of The Day column. Well, today, readers, we'll rectify that.

Snooki Goes Punk With Pink And Blonde Hair

Sure, there are odd fur boots that look like they were stolen from ebony Shetland ponies and a fair deal of slogans on T-shirts, but in all honesty, when it comes to style spotting on Jersey Shore, our favorite place to go for majestic beauty and breathtaking vision is a) JWOWW's tank tops and b) Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's hair. Snook's dark mane is remarkably beautiful. Thick and ever-swirling around her tanned face like it's achieved sentience and wants a snack, she can style it any number of ways and have it look fetching. Even when she is prancing up and down the boardwalk, scorching it under the harsh beatdown of the sun, or abusing it further by having it tucked under the horror of a Trucker cap. In short, we envy Snooki's hair.

T For Alexander Wang's Fall Campaign Video Features Santigold And Spank Rock Getting Funky

First we had Rye Rye boogeying for Prabal Gurung, and now indie dancehall star Santigold is cutting the rug for Alexander Wang. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that young rappers + young designers = an innovative new way to present the most recent collection. While Rye Rye actually featured Prabal's hyper-saturated looks, Santigold is hanging out with pal MC Spank Rock (one half of the Spank Rock group), generally freestyling her own moves and enjoying goofing around in comfy cotton for Wang's video lookbook.

Emma Watson's NY Potter Premiere Makeup Goes For Gold

Emma Watson's Bottega Veneta dress donned at last night's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 premiere was phenomenal, but what pulled together her entire look was not the exquisite cut and folds of the skirt, but her super-sleek, razor-blade-sharp beauty routine. Verging on the stark, Emma ditched a necklace and kept earrings gem-like and understated, and swooped back her hair into a wet look. And then, there were her eyes.

Twitter thought it was feathers. We initially considered gems. But upon further inspection, Emma went the old arts and crafts route and put gold leaf at the corner of her eyes, off-setting the dark and glam mega smoky eye (a smoky eye to end all smoky eyes, reaching up all the way to the brow) and then dabbing golden eye shadow between the inner corner and her bridge. The result is certainly a statement. Gold leaf might be used for decorating our middle school science fair poster boards, but for Emma, the extremely thin gold flecks add an incredible dose of glamour.

Hot Dude Of The Day: Death Cab's Ben Gibbard Is A Total Cutie

Ben Gibbard, aka the lead singer of Death Cab For Cutie, aka Mr. Zooey Deschanel, is what we'd like to call a really delicious grilled cheese sandwich. Normally a grilled cheese sandwich isn't anything to write home about, but sometimes, when a certain butter-to-bread ratio presents a golden brown crispiness and the cheese is melty without being gooey, a grilled cheese is literally the best thing you have ever eaten. And thus is Ben Gibbard.

When taken separately, there is nothing particularly noteworthy about his ensemble, but as a holistic unit, Ben is just nailing it. (Of course, there are perks to being married to one of Hollywood's most adorbz indie chicks.) The perfectly sized collared shirt is offset with nice contrast buttons (contrast buttons—it's a thing, guys, and you should be aware of it). The buttons, of course, match his white Chucks, which are worn in enough to still be rocked to a premiere...but maybe not a red carpet.
