Major news, y'all: Rachel Antonoff is hosting the 2014 MTV Movie Awards "Red Carpet Report" for MTV.com! I know! We're excited, too. After doing a stellar job alongside Grimes at the 2013 VMAs, Rachel is back and will bring us all things fashion and style from the carpet in Los Angeles. How can you watch her in action? Good question. While Zendaya, Tyler Posey, and MTV's Josh Horowitz and Christina Garibaldi will be co-hosting the live pre-show on MTV, Rachel will be serving her best Christiane Amanpour via Ryan Seacrest and we'll be posting those interview segments right here on MTV.com throughout the night.
We at MTV Style go way back with Rachel—besides being huge fans of her clothing line, she starred in an episode of House of Style with BFF Mae Whitman. Rachel shares our giddiness, telling us, "I'm thrilled to be asked back and excited to really get to the bottom of who is dressing left and who is dressing right!" Well, Rachel, we're lucky to have you (again!).
Does Miley Cyrus get more hours per day than everyone else? How else could she manage to be on her Bangerz Tour, act as the face of Marc Jacobs, and cover magazines practically every month? Her latest cover is a big one—Elle's Women in Music issue. Unlike her most recent cover—for W, where she was wearing a whole lotta nothing—for Elle, Miley has on a sequined jumpsuit from Marc Jacobs' Fall 2014 collection.
What Miley gained in clothing she lost in accessories—while her W cover featured baubles on baubles and bling on bling, here she only has on two bracelets and one ring. Her makeup is similarly just as low-key, with her strong brows (welcome back, bbs!) standing in stark contrast to her platinum pixie.
Pharrell's custom crystal shoes.

If you're anything like me, your Saturday-night footwear is limited to, like, boots or slippers. Pharrell, it is clear, is not anything like me. I mean, he performed on Saturday Night Live last night in these bad boys. What are they, you ask? Oh, just a pair of customized Swarovski crystal Stan Smith sneakers, NBD. Looks like partnering with Adidas has its perks, eh?

Flanked by a group of string musicians, Skateboard P performed "Marilyn Monroe" wearing the shoes, a black three-stripe jacket, and his green Vivienne Westwood Buffalo hat. Will the shoes become a full-time piece of P's look, like the jacket and the hat? Will he be able to get anything he wants customized with crystals from now on? These shoes raise a lot of questions.
Lauren Conrad's (fake) purple hair.
• We thought Lauren Conrad dyed her hair purple (it looked so good!), but it turns out it was an April Fools' Day joke. We're still pulling for her to do it, TBH.
• Beyonce finally released her "Flawless" flannel and we know how we're going to wear ours each season. A wardrobe staple means you wear it every single day, right?
• We dropped our second installment of Fashion Math featuring Lady Gaga. I'm not great at math, but I totally get that Eggbert the Beanie Baby + Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka = Lady Gaga's outfit.
• Rita Ora went topless on the cover of Elle UK and wore Google Glass for a behind-the-scenes video, so I think we know what the future is going to be like: less clothing, more accessories.
• We wondered who wore leopard-print hair better: Nick Cannon or Dennis Rodman? Do you think Mariah liked Nick's hair like that?

In case you missed the big news, we're in the midst of a Lady Gaga Takeover here at MTV, where Gaga is giving us an exclusive look at her Roseland residency, which ends tonight. Sway Calloway not only sat down with Gaga for an interview, but got a tour of her apartment and drank tea with her from a set that Donatella Versace gave her. A perfect day, IMHO.
Terry Richardson has also been hangin' with Gaga as she does the seven final shows at Roseland, and he shared some pictures from backstage, which reveal a number of wardrobe details that we had never seen before—check 'em out!

Earlier this week we took a look at Gaga's rose-themed Roseland wardrobe, but we didn't realize she wears not one, but two purple moto jackets during her performance. While the first one is metallic, this one is bejeweled (and comes with a matching pair of hot pants).

The jacket also has "Gaga" emblazoned across the back, in white jewels. This jacket is for those who forgot who they went to Roseland to see. In case the hot pants, ripped fishnets, and voluminous wig didn't give it away, this jacket definitely will.
Today is a magical day, one that only comes once or twice a year: a Thursday during spring break. Hello, perfect opportunity to #TBT pics from spring breaks past. As you're probably aware, MTV has been hosting spring break events for years, including performances. What you may not know, though, is that during the late '90s and early aughts, there was a show that married our two fave things—fashion and music. Spring-break editions of Fashionably Loud featured models showing off vacay fashions to live performances from the likes of Destiny's Child, Jay Z, Missy Elliott, and more. We figured we'd get in the throwback Thursday game with six of our favorite looks from Fashionably Loud, most of which were totally inappropriate for the beach. Peep 'em all below!

It seems that Fashionably Loud was full of performers wearing things one wouldn't normally pack for a beach vacation. I could be wrong, but I don't think a furry Kangol hat is the first thing anyone would put in their bag for Miami. I'm not Missy Elliott, though, so what do I know?
It seems like just yesterday we were lauding Lauren Conrad's decision to dye her typically blonde 'do pastel purple—APRIL FOOLS, it was yesterday (which, coincidentally, was April Fools' day). Turns out LC totally punk'd us and Photoshopped her lavender hair. Well, joke's on you, Lauren, because we are now convinced you should do it for real. More convinced than ever. We know Kristen Ess has the ability, we saw the color she "mixed"—quite the elaborate prank involving your hair colorist, TBH—so why not let her plop that mixture on your head? It looks sooo good.
Lauren isn't the first reality show star to fool the public into thinking she had gone purple—Nicole Richie posted a purple-haired pic to her Instagram, only to reveal she was joking. But then...she did it IRL. Will Lauren follow in her footsteps? We hope so.

Leopard-print hair is not an easy look to incorporate into daily life, but that didn't stop Nick Cannon and Dennis Rodman from trying. Cannon is the latest member of the close-cropped, leopard-print hair club. His initiation was two days ago. He joins founding member Dennis Rodman, who was known for sporting (get it?) the style in 1998.
Cannon revealed in his Instagram caption that the process took five hours, but, as we all know, looking swaggy takes time. His hair is longer and curlier than Dennis', so the spots aren't as obvious—they could just as easily pass for polka dots. Dennis' spots, on the other hand, are starkly contrasted against his short bleached hair.
