Are you ready? We're ready. The day we've all been waiting for is finally hurr—it's Movie Awards day! While Conan O'Brien is strapping on his finest pair of jeggings, the other attendees are taking to the carpet, talking to MTV.com Red Carpet Report correspondent Rachel Antonoff, and spilling the deets on what they're wearing. Earlier this week we took a look back at memorable outfits—the only question is, what will we remember from 2014?

Oh hi, puppy Alien.

Not that you needed another reason to watch the MTV Movie Awards today, but, um, there are going to be puppies on the red carpet. In costumes. ICYMI, Tyler Posey, one of tonight's pre-show hosts, was on the red carpet yesterday hanging out with the fancy pups, and you can see them for yourself via our our behind-the-scenes cameras on All Access Live). Seriously, could anything be better? Designer/genius/wardrobe specialist Heather Zweigel made costumes for the li'l guys—Ron Burgundy's suit from Anchorman 2, Bilbo's outfit from The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, Richie DiMaso's '70s suit vest from American Hustle, Alien's Hawaiian shirt and cornrows from Spring Breakers, and so many more. If you liked seeing Bradley Cooper in a deep-V, imagine how you'll feel seeing a puppy in one. *heart eyes emoji x's 100*
Oh hi, puppy Superman.

We had a chance to chat with Heather about designing for dogs, her favorite costume, and how she reacted when she found out she'd be designing for tiny dog bodies (spoiler alert: She was excited). Click below the jump for her answers, behind-the-scenes deets, and more pictures of puppy movie costumes!
When we heard Conan O'Brien was hosting this year's MTV Movie Awards, we were like, "Awesome. We are totally #TeamCoco." Then we were like, "Wait. 'Coco' is Conan's nickname AND the name of a famous fashion designer. Could we, as a fashion blog, get any luckier? We are so #blessed." JK, we didn't say any of those things aloud (we don't speak in hashtags, for one), but that was definitely our sentiment, and so was born our quiz. Over the course of their careers, both Conan O'Brien and Coco Chanel have spoken generally about style and fashion, so we figured we'd see how easy it would be to tell which Coco said what.
We present to you, in bold, seven quotations. Below each of them is a set of pictures of Conan and Coco Chanel. All you have to do is click on who you think said the quote, and you'll see whether or not your response is correct. Good luck!
"People always say it’s tough to be a model—no! Turning a big crank is tough."
"It is always better to be slightly underdressed."
Who is this guy?
In case you were worried that Drake's comedic chops were a one-time fluke when he hosted Saturday Night Live, I guess you've never seen Degrassi. JK, I guess you haven't yet watched Drake on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, where he took to the streets in a disguise to see what people really think about Drake.
While I'm not fully convinced he needed a disguise—I mean, none of these people recognized his voice, which is pretty distinct—he wore one that consisted of a dark chestnut version of Justin Bieber's original floppy hair and a fluffy beard. For extra diversion he added some glasses and a multi-colored striped shirt, which totally transformed him from Drake to an i-banker with bad eyesight. Or one who pretends as much so he can wear glasses with thick frames.
If you've ever wanted an idea of what it's like to go shopping with Fifth Harmony, you're in luck. While last summer we followed the ladies shopping for themselves before their first VMAs, they've recently shared their shopping skills with a fan, and we were there to see it all go down. We also sat down with the ladies to talk about their style icons, and they're more disparate than you might think!
As you can probably imagine, we are pretttty excited to see what everyone will wear to the MTV Movie Awards this Sunday. It is perhaps the most casual awards show out there, which leads to memorable outfits year after year. With a number of our faves like Lupita Nyong'o, Nicki Minaj, Emma Stone, and Shailene Woodley slated to appear, and Ellie Goulding and Rihanna on tap to perform, we're basically counting down the nanoseconds until the red carpet.
Because it is Movie Awards weekend, we figured we'd dedicate this week's #TBT to the 10 most memorable outfits (IMHO) of Movie Awards past. Check them out in all their glory, below.
Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams at the 2005 MTV Movie Awards.

Before Ryan Gosling was ~Ryan Gosling~, he was The Dude From The Notebook™. At the 2005 Movie Awards, Ryan decided to make a political statement, wearing a plain white tee that simply had "Darfur" printed across the front. He wore a black blazer with the shirt (hello, it's a red carpet), but ditched it when he and Rachel McAdams decided to reenact their kiss from The Notebook on stage. Rachel was dressed in bootcut jeans, pointed toe stilettos, and a strapless lace bustier, which is perhaps the most 2005-y outfit to ever exist.
Demi Lovato' hair: before and after.
Photo: @ddlovato Twitter/@ddlovato Instagram
Demi Lovato has undergone a lot of hair changes in the past few months. First, she traded in her blonde hair for bright blue. Her blue 'do got its 15 seconds on the cover of Nylon, but it wasn't long until she moved on to bright pink hair for her Neon Lights Tour. Then, out of seemingly nowhere, Demi went and Skrillexed herself. She buzzed a chunk of hair above her left ear off, posted the photo to Instagram, and captioned it "Oops?"
It's safe to say when it comes to Demi and her hair, we expect the unexpected. But this new change is one we suuuriously didn't see coming. After teasing her new hair on Twitter for, like, four hours, Demi finally revealed the big news—she's back to brunette.
As you are probably aware, the 2014 MTV Movie Awards are a mere four days away. One of our favorite categories, especially in a year like this when the competition is so fierce, is Best On-Screen Transformation. To underscore just how incredible these five transformations are, we made GIFs morphing them from their normal, IRL selves into their cinematic alter-egos. Be warned: They're totally mesmerizing. Writing this post took me an extra 20 minutes because I kept watching Orlando Bloom change into Legolas. Now that it's finished, I will resume my watching.
JARED LETO INTO RAYON IN 'DALLAS BUYERS CLUB'

For his role in Dallas Buyers Club, Jared Leto lost 30 pounds and lived as his character, Rayon. As you can see in the GIF, his face grew thinner, he lost his beard and eyebrows, and became an expert at contouring. Whether the world's most perfect ombre is under that cap, we may never know.

Good news, everyone: Katy Perry's new hair goes well with fancy dresses. While we were initially wondering, like, "What goes with green hair?," Katy has proven that she can make at least two different looks #WERK. Last night, she attended an event in a floral print Suno dress. Her hair (and the midriff cutout) gave an otherwise straightforward look some ~swag~. Noted: florals, dresses, and slices of stomach look good with green hair. But that's not all!!
Ellie Goulding for 'Cosmopolitan.'
Photo: Cosmopolitan Magazine
It's no secret that Ellie Goulding's style is on point. As a quick scroll through her frequently updated Instagram will tell you, the singer's fashion sense is the perfect combination of leather pieces, streetwear, and, like, totally elegant gowns. Her performance outfits often pair shorts and crop tops, but she looks equally as comfortable in a floor-length number at more formal events. Cosmopolitan's spread featuring Ellie totally nails her natural tough-yet-feminine vibe and puts her in pieces we can totally see her wearing IRL.
This peach Gucci dress, for example, shows off some cleavage and leg, and has black accents. It goes perfectly with her always expertly mussed hair—what doesn't, though?—and would be perfect for, IDK, something like the 2014 MTV Movie Awards. Oh, yeah, she's performing at the awards on Sunday. Will she wear one of these dresses? She totally should, IMHO!
