Selena Gomez wearing a bindi.

Sooo, I bet Selena Gomez is having a pretty weird day? She's probably mentally preparing herself for the barrage of Bieber-related questions she'll be asked for the next three to four months. If it's any consolation, even through all that, she's 100% the most stylish person I've ever seen at a gas station. Like, usually when I need to fill up/grab snacks, I only see basketball shorts and sweatshirts (fine, it's when I look in the gas station bathroom mirror), but Selly really has a great look going on here. Let's discuss.
First of all, great haircut, Sel! We know she'd been toying with the idea of cutting her hair into a bob, but this shoulder-length 'do is really good, too. Then there's her nude bodysuit, which she's accessorized with two tasseled Kendra Scott necklaces. Very glamorous graduation chic, IMHO. The most crucial part of her on-point look, though, is the return of her bindi.
Vanessa Hudgens for 'Nylon.'
Photo: Nylon magazine
While we are the #1 fans of Demi Lovato's blue hair and its first feature on the cover of Nylon, we were eagerly waiting to see who the magazine tapped for their February cover. Well, we finally got our answer: It's Vanessa Hudgens! Two Disney stars in a row? Maybe Miley for March? The ex-Mousketeer hat trick is tempting.
Anyway, we're getting ahead of ourselves. Let's talk Vanessa. While the actual cover isn't out yet, Nylon just released some preview shots from her spread, and we are definitely feeling her styling. In one shot, she wears a pink bra with an Armani Exchange leather jacket and sheer Burberry Prorsum skirt. Are bras and leather jackets really becoming a thing? Katy Perry just wore the look in GQ, and if that's the trend for spring, I better stock up on publicly acceptable bras now.
Lady Gaga in 'Gagavision no. 45.'
Photo: Lady Gaga's YouTube Page
If you're a longtime Little Monster, you'll remember the Gagavision videos Lady Gaga released weekly during 2008 and 2009. In 2011, after the release of Born This Way, Gaga resurrected the series for four episodes. And now, it's back yet again. Early this morning, Gaga dropped "Gagavision no. 45," which ~sorta~ documents her big weekend in Paris. I say sorta because "Mambo Italiano" is playing over the video and you can barely hear one word that is uttered. Whatever, though, right? Who cares about WORDS with there is #FASHUN to look at.
The first shot of the Gaga-edited video is Mother Monster deplaning a private jet, champagne bottle in hand, decked out in what I assume is Versace. The sheer dress is pretty similar to one Gaga wore in her Versace ad and, TBH, it'd be pretty weird to wear a different designer for a "Paris Atelier Versace Couture Weekend." Plus, those silver Medusa heads are a dead giveaway.
One Direction teach us the letter 'U.'

Gather round, young children looking to learn the alphabet/One Direction fans! The strapping young men of the world's most popular boy band have an upcoming appearance on Sesame Street and, as the preview shows us, they're teaching "what makes 'U' useful." In the clip, the lads sing about words that begin with and include "U," like "udon" (for the precocious Sesame Street viewer), "ugh" (for exasperated children), and "up" (for the really young ones). While all of those words are perfectly useful (especially "ugh," IMHO), we thought of a few ~fashionable~ options relevant to One Direction.

First up is the word suit. While it's rare you get all five members in suits at the same event, when you do, it's a beautiful thing. Suits are what make One Direction beautiful. JK, it's their faces!
Taylor Swift gets punny.

Long-reigning queen of the cat ladies Taylor Swift has outdone herself. For those of you who can't read her shirt, it says "The Great Catsby" in all-caps script. Above the writing are two cats wearing accessories: one in a daisy-chain necklace (a little too on the nose, IMHO) and the other in a bow tie. They are waving. Just two cool cats (the puns don't end!), ready to go to a party at Leo's house. OF COURSE, Taylor Swift owns this sweatshirt! Good news: You can, too!
Ethan and Aiden, played by Charlie and Max Carver, in 'Teen Wolf.'
Well, last night's Teen Wolf was certainly full of action, wasn't it? There were potential romances bloomin' all over the place, a murderer/kidnapper on the loose, and a young werewolf/man who experienced sushi for the first time. We're not here to talk action, though. We're here to talk fashion, and we noticed a trend sweeping the hallowed halls of Beacon Hills High.
Seeing the former (sorry, guys) Alpha Twins dressed in coordinated outfits is nothing new. Sometimes they match in jeans and long-sleeve shirts, and sometimes they both decide to go sans shirt. Either way, they make it #WERK. On last night's episode, the
Alphas Omegas rolled up to school in V-neck blue tees. Ethan opted for a lighter wash—almost gray—while Aiden went darker and with henley buttons. Two more undone buttons and we'd be treated to a way deeper V-neck. Maybe next time.
Katy Perry for 'GQ' magazine.
The text on Katy Perry's February GQ cover claims that she "goes pin-up" for the issue, which makes her the most modern pin-up model we've ever seen. Like, the spread kinda just looks like most of her other magazine spreads, because she is neither pulling classic poses, nor styled in the iconic Bettie Page way. Pin-up or not, she looks ah-may-zing.
In one shot, Katy shows off her squatting abilities by straddling a fire extinguisher. She's laughing, so it seems unlikely that a blaze is ravaging the set of her GQ photo shoot. As far as what she's wearing, KP matches her pink Cosabella bra to her Giuseppe Zanotti heels and her white Chloe blazer to her "skirt" from H&M. GQ calls it a skirt, but it looks like a pair of bejeweled, high-waisted hot pants with fringe to me. Psst, men at GQ, if there's a hole for each leg, the piece is no longer a skirt. Just a li'l women's fashion tip from me to you.
There are only two episodes left of The Carrie Diaries, which means Friday nights will soon be less fashion- and Sebastian-filled. I am upset about both. Last night's episode featured Carrie making moves at Interview and, as always, looking very stylish while doing so. We spoke to the show's costume designer, Eric Daman, about what Carrie wore.

The show opens with Carrie and Sebastian walking in Washington Square Park and stumbling across a grisly scene: a hawk eating a pigeon. No thanks! Eric gave us major deets on Carrie's coat (the third week a patterned coat opens the show, BTW): "OMG. Are you ready for a real behind-the-scenes secret? Carrie Bradshaw is wearing Blair Waldorf's Chloe coat! Fabulously, I might add. Totally making it her own. I was in love with this faded-floral Chloe coat, and while wrapping Gossip Girl, I just knew Carrie could breathe a second life into it, so I 'borrowed' it from Blair Waldorf's closet! When I read this 'walk and talk in the park' scene between Carrie and Sebastian, it seemed like the ideal moment for this gorgeous coat's second coming. To give it true Carrie Bradshaw appeal, we paired it with a wide-brimmed hat, knee-high Sergio Rossi boots, and Melie Bianco color-blocked bag. Actually, it kinda feels a little Serena-y now that I take a second look! LOL!"

• The Golden Globes were last weekend and we kept tabs on all the fashion from the show, the accessories, and Emma Watson's backless dress. Peep all our coverage from the Golden Globes hurr.
• Beyonce's been wearing a ton of Versace recently and, well, we noticed. We see you, Bey, we see you.
• We spoke with Teen Wolf's costume designer about why Isaac was wearing a scarf when it was obviously warm out. Then we were like, wait, Isaac can wear whatever he wants, whenever he wants.
• We peeped a commercial that appears to be for Beyonce's new perfume. It was heavy on the glitter and hair-flips. We would've bought Rise anyway, but now we're definitely going to buy it.
• Finally, Katy Perry performed in Beijing in never-before-seen outfits. We wondered if they were, perhaps, being considered for her Prismatic Tour because they both included and reflected MAD LIGHT.

Can you believe it's chocolate?
All Photos: Getty Images
Happy Friday, errybodaaay! This week, we were inspired by photos from the Salon Du Chocolat fashion show, so in lieu of food-related items, we decided that THIS Food Friday we’d create a game: Chocolate or Couture? We're pitting fashion made from chocolate against real runway couture looks. It's sure to be the nation’s fave game by, like, next Wednesday.
Below you’ll find six pairs, each of which contains one outfit consisting of elements made from chocolate and one that is constructed completely of non-chocolate materials. To play, just click on whichever of the two images you think is chocolate. If you’re right, you’ll know. If you’re wrong, you’ll also know.
If you think you have the highest score in all of Internetland, be sure to write it in the comments below and then share it with all your friends who definitely care about your ability to correctly identify food from fashion. At the very least, you’ll earn our respect. Good luck!
