Demi Lovato

She woke up like dis.

Not too long ago Demi Lovato was changing her hair as fast as she changed outfits. She was blonde, blue, pink, back to brunette, and then buzzed on the side like Skrillex. Nowadays, she’s all about the natural look and to prove it, Demi posted a no-makeup selfie to Instagram with the caption “I woke up like dis…..at 4 pm.” Yonce would be proud.

Angel Haze

Elle pretty much killed it with this year’s lineup for their Women in Music issue: Iggy Azalea, Angel Haze, Ariana Grande, the list goes on. So, naturally, their party to celebrate the issue was poised to have just as much pizzazz. Angel Haze might have stolen the show though, with her performance and fresh hairstyle. The rapper, who modeled for the magazine’s May Issue with purple tips, performed with a new ombre ’do. Angel swapped out her previous hair color for a light blonde shade, all the better to match her Medusa necklace.

Iggy Azalea

Yesterday, when we checked in with with Iggy Azalea, the rapper was Instagramming her Scarface-themed tour wardrobe. Today on Good Morning America, where she performed her collaborative hit “Fancy” with Charli XCX, she returned to the song’s Clueless roots. Though she, Charli, and their dancers ditched their renditions of Cher’s iconic yellow plaid outfit, they kept the high school vibe and their killer coordination on-point with white and black outfits.

Iggy Azalea’s new tour outfits have us feeling some type of way. To be honest, we were hoping her obsession with Clueless would never end. There’s still plenty of scenes she hadn’t yet tapped, from Cher’s red Alaïa dress to her white Calvin Klein one, not to mention her sweater vest and white sheer shirt/argyle skirt driving test outfit. But Iggy has already moved on to another iconic movie: Scarface. Because Tony Montana is a totally natural shift from Cher Horowitz. The two characters might not have a lot in common at face value, but actually, they both share a love of designer clothes and palatial homes. Also, as a rapper, referencing Scarface is kind of a rite of passage. See: Future, 2 Chainz, Soulja Boy, Notorious B.I.G., etc.

Emma Stone

After running one of the magazine's most controversial covers ever (more like #WORLDSMOSTTALKEDABOUTCOVER, amirite??), Vogue is playing it a little safer with their May issue. Of course, safe doesn’t mean boring, especially in the case of two-time cover star Emma Stone. The 25-year-old actress opens up about everything, from never having watched Easy A to referring to herself as “that bland basic b****” after a Google search of herself yielded that description. Basically, she confirms her reputation as someone you’d want as your BFF. Emma is also down to earth when it comes to her style—she doesn’t even think she’s influential in that respect. But, umm, Em, we politely disagree with you. Case in point: any time she hits a red carpet and, obviously, her two Vogue covers.

Adam Lambert

Uh, has Adam Lambert been hanging around with Rihanna? Because he’s quickly on his way to becoming her male hair-chameleon counterpart. Only a few days after the singer debuted a Katy Perry-esque green hue, Adam’s onto the next–white hair. He captioned his car selfie “White Hair Don’t Care,” which, if you remember, was the very same caption he used when he posted his green 'do. You can't just "not care" about your hair but constantly change it, Adam! Which color do you care about? For now I feel safe betting on white. Tomorrow could be a different story.

Either way, we are 100% behind this new look. A white dye job hasn’t looked this good since Halle Berry championed it as Storm in X-Men. Of course, Anderson Cooper might try to take credit for this look's growing popularity, but the natural white-haired look doesn’t really compare to the intentional one, which has a sort of cool irreverence.

Angel Haze, Iggy Azalea

Springtime is not only in the running for the greatest season ever because it’s when we can finally come out of hibernation—it’s also the time of the year when fashion magazines put out their music issues, cast our favorite artists in new editorial light, and get them to open up about their style and more. We already peeped Miley Cyrus' cover for Elle's Women in Music issue, but now we can see who appears inside and we are pretttty excited about who they tapped.

Eleven ladies are featured inside the issue, including Angel Haze, Iggy Azalea, Lily Allen, and Ariana Grande. Of course, they’re all styled to perfection. Angel Haze pulls off what must be a very heavy Dolce & Gabbana coin belt with matching earrings and a silk fringe top by the fashion house. Iggy, meanwhile, wears both some crazy bedazzled arm cuffs by Maison Martin Margiela and the wet-hair trend.

Sky Ferreira

Sky Ferreira is as relatable as pop stars get. Case in point: Her latest single, “I Blame Myself” is all about owning up to your personal failures. The video premiered yesterday and is fully shoppable—you can check out every single thing Sky wears in the video. Sky recently sat down with the New York Times and pretty much confirmed that she’s someone who you want to be best friends with. The Bangerz Tour opener talked about everything from working with Miley to her many modeling stints and her debut album, Night Time, My Time. There are too many fascinating quotes to choose from, so we rounded up some of her best moments. Enjoy!

1.) Even pop stars have trouble affording Saint Laurent: “I have a 50 percent discount [on Saint Laurent] worldwide. It’s pretty expensive, though. On tour I have to use my business card for everything, like gas, but I also buy my clothes on it. I go there and it gets rejected, and I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, this is embarrassing.’ I didn’t tell them my name until she was like, ‘You’re Sky, you’re in the ads.’ And I said, ‘This isn’t working right now, I’ll come back in an hour. I swear there’s money in there.’”

We already knew before we hit play that Sky Ferreira’s new video for “I Blame Myself” would be all about the clothes. For her new My Night, My Time single, Sky teamed up with online retailer Ssense and System magazine on what could be the future of pop music: the shoppable music video. Ssense and System have made a few changes to the format since they released the first shoppable music video with Iggy Azalea. In the new format, you shop after you watch—rather than as it plays—which doesn’t take us out of the video’s world, which is, in this case, an abandoned lot. Of course, the clothes, front and center, do not disappoint.

In the opening scene, the camera tricks us for a moment into thinking we’re staring at the back of a dude before it does a 180º and we see that it’s actually Sky. She’s styled in a Givenchy star patch leather bomber jacket, a Christopher Kane hoodie, Saint Laurent crystal-embellished tights, a Saint Laurent biker skirt, and an amazing pair of black-and-white basketwoven Acne kicks with beaded flower Simone Rocha socks.

Lorde

There’s something different about Lorde’s Teen Vogue cover. *Squints eyes, cocks head* Oh right! Lorde is wearing a whole lot of color. The 17-year-old alt-pop wunderkind is glowing on her latest magazine cover, where she’s styled in an orange-and-red plaid top from Marc by Marc Jacobs’ Fall 2014 collection—a pivot from her typically goth, mostly monotone M.O. Lorde’s softer makeup—a light smoky eye finished with silver shadow and a natural lip (not her signature purple shade)—is another departure that we can get behind.

Lorde opens up in her profile about the unrealistic beauty ideals placed on pop stars—and, she hopes, their eventual disappearance. "There are a lot of expectations in this industry about looking a certain way and having a certain kind of appeal," she says. "I am feminine, but I really love dressing in boys' clothes too. I guess that's why I get labeled as 'the grumpy girl,' because I don't play into that."
