Perhaps you’ve noticed that the ‘90s are back in full effect. From the crop-top takeover of fall Fashion Week to the re-emergence of our favorite pop groups (i.e. *NSYNC, TLC), it’s high time we show some appreciation for the decade now-defined by the World Wide Web. (Yup. The first website was created in 1990, and by 1999, the Internet was mainstream. Free history lesson!) Don’t act like you’re not nostalgic.
There was also a lot of RULL good lady-based pop culture that came out of the ‘90s, so we’ve put together three classic outfits from our favorite female icons for your Halloween enjoyment. (In addition to our picks, we've also rounded up instructions for how to be Daria, The Craft and Cher Horowitz, because we're the bomb like that.) And let’s be honest: it's pretty much the 11th hour in terms of finding a costume, so if you don’t have one yet, you’re praaahbably the kind of person who tends to DIY day-of. Lucky for you, these are PERFECT for that level of laziness. (No offense.) Fashion fiends (or hoarders of epic proportions) will likely have more than half of these costume components in their closet already, so put back those pre-packaged sexy food costumes and start practicing your throwback slang, beyotch.
COREY MASON FROM 'EMPIRE RECORDS'

We mustn’t dwell. No, not today. Not on
REX MANNING DAY Halloween! Corey Mason (Liv Tyler) was the good girl with a bad streak from Empire Records, the 1995 movie about a group of misfit teens trying to keep an indie record store afloat. Damn the man, save the empire! Corey was a total babe, and is basically the embodiment of '90s comeback trends with her fuzzy cropped sweater, plaid skirt and combat boots. You’re gonna need your store badge to slip into the back room and woo Rex Manning, but don't forget to wear your ~most~ sexy red bra for your grand seduction. (Bonus points if you bake cupcakes for the occasion. After all, there are 24 usable hours in every day.) If that doesn’t work out though, you’ve always got your studies, so make sure to have your notebook handy and lay off those Jesse Spano caffeine pills!
Happy 27th birthday, Drake! Here, we got you this bespoke Calvin Klein wardrobe for your “Would You Like A Tour” tour. Generous, we know. You’re welcome! JK JK LOL, we WISH that had been our idea. We considered making you bespoke cupcakes in your likeness, but quickly realized that our baking skills are lacking. Your face is hard to draw with frosting! It's the thought that counts though, right? Lucky for Drake, he is actually getting custom stage outfits by CK (just not from us).
Demi Lovato for 'Glamour Mexico.'
Photo: 'Glamour Mexico'
For the November cover of Glamour Mexico, Demi Lovato sets her leather jackets aside and instead, opts for old Hollywood allure (which is all the rage right now, BTW). Wearing a mauve, ruffle-front keyhole gown, the "Let It Go" singer's classic look get accessorized with chunky, crystal-drop earrings, a single gold ring and matching scarlet nails and lips. AH-OO-GA! *cue cartoon-y eyes popping out from their sockets* Doesn't she look lovely? Demi's long locks are set with thick, glamorous blonde waves. Guess we still need to wait a little longer for her new blue hair to make its editorial debut.
Pharrell and Solange at the eBay Today launch

Solange and Pharrell both have inimitable style, and each artist is almost known as much for their fierce fashion sense as they are for their music. (Almost.) So, it's no wonder that eBay tapped the two (along with a slew of other influential creatives) to curate personal collections for the site's new social element, eBay Today.
Today allows users to create profiles and collections (not unlike Pinterest), filled with inspirational/want-worthy items found around eBay. But the best part is, you can ~actually~ buy the things people post—including items directly plucked up by Knowles and Williams. SO. COOL. To help you get started down the rabbit hole of inspirational shopping, we picked out five of the coolest items from both artists' collections. Check them out after the jump, and visit eBay Today to peep the site's newest feature in full.
Rihanna wears two embellished headbands/visors on her Diamonds World Tour.

After causing a commotion in Abu Dhabi and doing some grassroots advertising for her final River Island collection while in Greece, Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour took her next to Israel, where the girl is single-handedly making headbands cool again. But not in, like, a Blair Waldorf kind of way. These headbands have edge and could not be further from Upper East Side prep. They’re actually more like headband/visor hybrids, but the only thing they’re shielding Rih from is her own forehead—so, for all intents and purposes, we’ll call them hisors. JK. We'll call them headbands.
The happy, brooding couple.

Kimye’s impending nuptials: let’s discuss. Obviously, the entire event will be lavish, over-the-top and totally insane. (We can’t wait!) The two stars are both notoriously extravagant, and despite this being Kardashian’s third wedding (#charmed), y’all know that NO expense will be spared for Kanye’s first trip down the aisle. I mean, you saw the ring, right? I’m imagining like, diamond-encrusted everything—from place settings to port-a-pottys to the Lorraine Schwartz-sponsored gift bags and the mini Margiela mask for Nori. Their love knows no bounds and their wallets know no limits. Remember: these are the people who spent over a million dollars on beds. BEDS. Six of them. SIX. That s*** cray.
Also, keep in mind that Kim wore three different Vera Wang dresses (gratis, but valued at approx. $20K a piece) for her 2011 wedding to Kris Humphries, and DUH-RIPPED in an estimated $10 million worth of (borrowed) high-end jewelry. So, it’s probably pretty safe to assume that she’ll outdo herself with West because EVERYONE will be watching. But will Ye get final approval of the gown(s)?
Katy Perry in the November issue of 'W.'

Va-va-VOOM! With Prism hot off the record presses, Katy Cats are getting a double-dose of their fearless queen today with a new series of photos from W magazine. Actually, seeing as how they snapped dual Katy Perry covers for the Special Edition “Global Style” issue, we’re really getting a ~triple~ dose of the provocative pop singer. Perry channels old-school screen-siren glamour on one cover, wearing a perforated white Chanel dress and Harry Winston diamond block earrings with a small stud diamond necklace (also by Winston). Oh, and her makeup? All COVERGIRL products for the brand's newest face, ‘natch. (Though, on the second cover, she wears Michael Kors and Revlon.)

WOWOWOW. I mean, WOW. Or, more succinctly, WOW. Baby momma, no more! OK technically, Kim Kardashian IS still the mother of Kanye West’s child, but now he’s making an honest woman out of her, y’all! *DING DONG DING* (Those are wedding bells, BTW.) In the proposal heard ‘round the
world interwebs, Ye popped the question last night on Kim’s 33rd birthday at San Francisco’s AT&T Park (he rented it out for the occasion, NBD) where he proposed IN ALL CAPS (because Kanye) on a jumbotron that read: “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!” (EMPHASIS ON THE "E"S FOR MAXIMUM EXPRESSION OF EXCITEMENT!) Oh, and West soundtracked the event to the tune of a live 50-piece orchestra (head over to MTV News for the set list). Naturally, Kim said yes because LOOK AT THAT RING. (Also, because love.)
