Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry wear a cupcake bra.

Remember way back in 2010 when Snoop Lion was still a Dogg? When he and Katy Perry teamed up for the "California Gurls" video to virtually choke us with confection? When that CUPCAKE BRA made history? Well, KP's all-candy-everything steez is NOT running unopposed. Nicki Minaj stopped by BET's 106 & Park earlier this week to promote her new "Freedom" video in a cupcake bra HERSELF, and, naturally, we're calling on YOU to tell us who you think wore it better!
Katy Perry is really into floor-length florals lately.

Katy Perry has forged a fashion reputation of being predictably unpredictable. A quick mental ransacking of KP’s sartorial history recalls, among other things, spandex, HOTT pants, transient hair styles, cupcake purses, retro pin-up girl/Rosie the Riveter homages, a BATTERY PACK or two, and blizzards of sparkle, sprinkle, furbelow, and fluff. Despite the general glitterbomb that is Katy Perry's style evolution, we MIGHT *pump the brakes* be sensing a bit of a calm! As of late, the candy-coated "California Gurls" songstress has been committed to a slightly more refined, floor-length floral look. Not exactly business as usual, amirite?

When it comes to wish lists, we've all got a system. (Compulsively updating an Excel spreadsheet since January? Ahem, our MTV Style gift guides? Ripping scraps of gadgets as you pour through Sky Mall? No shame.) Whatever your method, Urban Outfitters lends a hand in the TOTAL crazy-making that is holiday shopping with its 'UO Nice List.' Every week, Urban enlists heavy-hitting tastemakers to curate wish lists of their favorite UO items and OMG it's like we can see into their souls. This week, Tavi Gevinson, Bethany Cosentino and more designer, musician and fashion friends flex their pointer fingers to show us their magic touch!
Rita Ora in the upcoming issue of British 'Vogue'.

Well friends, we're calling it now: Rita Ora just might be Rookie of the Year! She's pocketed a #1 album in the UK, a massive world tour opening for Coldplay, and three #1 singles all AFTER being anointed by the inimitable Jay-Z. *checks watch to see if there's still time to make a dent in long list of life goals* As if her résumé wasn't impressive ENOUGH, the songstress now gets to bask in some hometown glory on the pages of Vogue UK for its December 2012 issue. The Roc Nation protégé and unequivocal style icon stuns in a spread that plays close to her own unique, bold choices. With an otherwise natural beauty look, Rita flaunts her signature red lip and loosely swooping blond coiffure. HELLO, high-waisted satin shorts and... is that a festive color scheme? We see you.

First impressions are important. And when it comes to holiday gift giving, here at MTV Style we hold this truth with equal enthusiasm. Sure, you can't deny the character, charm, and economic merits of DIY wrapping jobs, but enter Rachel Zoe, Alice + Olivia, Lela Rose AND charity into the equation? Newspaper and recycled shopping bags definitely won't do!
This holiday season, seven top designers team up with online retailer One Kings Lane to create a stylish and altruistic gift wrapping collection. With all money from sales going to the designers' charity of choice, customers get three gift-wrap rolls for a relatively nominal price of $15 (Imeanreallydoe, for any designer label that is a BARGAIN).
