Project Runway alum Christian Siriano presented his spring 2011 runway show yesterday at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City, and with that came his new spring collection of lower-price footwear for Payless. The shoes look like cages for your feet! We hope that Payless doesn't convert these too much for the mass-market version (like they did for the fall collection), because those are — to use a Christian Siriano word — fierce.

Whitney Port at her Whitney Eve Miami Fashion Show in March 2010.

Just one year ago, Whitney Port debuted her Whitney Eve fashion line at her first runway show at New York Fashion Week. Ever since, she's pummeled her way through the fashion world hunting for success, which you've seen well-documented on The City. Whitney Port showed her last collection for fall 2010 at a fashion show in Miami in March (check out the episode here), but tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 11, she returns to New York Fashion Week once again to present her new collection for spring 2011. Exciting, right?! We caught up with the 25-year-old designer this week to find out what to expect from her new lineup. Read on to find out what she said! Read More...

Jessica Simpson touched down in New York this week to debut her new denim line for the spring 2011 Jessica Simpson Collection. She showed off her new denim bottoms at her New York showroom, so we popped by to see the range, from skinny jeans to flares to jeggings (who doesn't have those these days!), priced between $49 to $69. Jessica Simpson enlisted a few of her friends to model the new styles at the preview, including little sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and her husband, Pete Wentz. When we caught up with the couple, Pete revealed that he was wearing a denim jacket designed by Jessica — a women's jacket! And, we must admit, it looked pretty fabulous on him. Don't you think? Read on to find out what else they told us. Read More...

Olivia Palermo on Tatler's October 2010 issue.

Olivia Palermo is a cover girl! The City star landed on the cover of the British magazine Tatler for its October issue, and we're dying over the cover line — "GIRL OF THE YEAR!" Is she really Girl Of The Year?! It's kind of a big statement to make, and maybe that's why she's making a shocked deer-in-headlights face for the picture. But, overall, we're super happy for Olivia Palermo. Especially because she got to wear a gorgeous outfit on the cover — one of the dresses from Miu Miu's fall collection. When more pictures from her cover issue emerge, we will definitely post them.

Glee and Gossip Girl stars are known for their fashion choices, and last night proved why. They all looked so amazing! Glee's Dianna Agron and Gossip Girl's Blake Lively both chose yellow looks, Dianna in a Carolina Herrera (the same designer she wore to the Emmys) at the Glee second season premiere party in Hollywood, and Blake Lively in Marchesa at Fashion's Night Out: The Show in New York. Meanwhile, Glee's Lea Michele and Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester both went for blue looks, Lea in a teal floral lace dress, and Leighton Meester in a blue look with sexy cut-outs by Versus. Usually, we like the classiness of the Glee girls, but this time around, we're loving the edginess of the Gossip Girl ladies, particularly Leighton Meester's outfit and the Christian Louboutin Venus Orlato booties on her feet (see a close-up picture below). We're gushing over her fabulous footwear, even though they cost $1,395! But what do you think?

Olivia Palermo was quite the busy fashionista last night! The City star attended two parties in one evening, and unsatisfied by wearing just one outfit — she wore TWO! When Olivia Palermo attended a screening of The Romantics in downtown New York, she wore a floral dress with a black ribbon belt knotted in the front, which she paired with black pumps. Then, across town, Olivia Palermo wore another floral outfit, this one looser and off the shoulder, to Fashion's Night Out: The Show at Lincoln Center, and finished the look with a pair of peep-toe heels. The one thing that stayed the same? Her satin purple floral clutch by Sondra Roberts, which you can find online for $99. She really likes these clutches, too — she owns the same Sondra Roberts purse in pink!

Mark Salling and Cory Monteith.

There was a lot of sexiness on the red carpet at the Glee Season 2 premiere party in Hollywood last night, mainly because the boys in the show looked so smashing. (We are fanning ourselves as we type.) Mark Salling went for a casual look in a plaid shirt, jeans, and black sneakers, while Cory Monteith dressed up a little more with gray slacks, black shoes, a white button-up, and a black cardigan. What a Mr. Rogers-inspired look! Kevin McHale and Matthew Morrison went for a fancier approach, both wearing suits — Kevin in blue with a bow tie (classy!) and Matthew in gray with a maroon tie and matching pocket square. But who looked best? Usually we'd say Mark, just because. But for this one, Matthew's pocket square is really taking the lead! What do you think?

Ke$ha at her VMA promo shoot.
Kristian Dowling / PictureGroup

The 2010 Video Music Awards are less than a week away! And we're getting soooo excited to see what the stars are going to wear on the red carpet. However, some wardrobe decisions aren't finalized yet. Like Ke$ha's. Over the weekend, Ke$ha tweeted that she didn't know what she wanted to wear, which is scary since the event is so soon. So, we've got a suggestion. Slip on the same shoes she wore for her VMA promo — the Yves Saint Laurent Palais pumps with a goat fur trim along the backside!!! Almost every fashion magazine featured these shoes as a top pick for fall, and they don't come cheap — $875 per pair on Plus, they have her whole Animal vibe going on with the furriness, so they not only look good, they totally make sense!

+ Would you wear these furry shoes like Ke$ha?

See more behind-the-scenes photos from Ke$ha's VMA promo shoot here! Tune in to watch Ke$ha at the 2010 MTV VMAs live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 12, at 9/8c! And don't forget to vote for Best New Artist!

Lo Bosworth on Sept. 3 and Amber Lancaster on Aug. 17.
Photo: Steven Lawton/FilmMagic

Lo Bosworth and Amber Lancaster wore the same dress--AGAIN!!! Just last week, The Hills star attended a Hollywood party wearing the same Elaine Kim beige dress as Hard Times Of RJ Berger star Amber Lancaster. And Lo copied Amber's wardrobe once more Friday night when she wore a stretch blue floral mini-dress by French Connection--find it for $158 online--at the launch party for her website in Las Vegas. Amber Lancaster had worn the same exact dress to the French Connection collection launch party on Aug. 17, a party that Lo herself attended. Though, if we had to choose a favorite, we'd go with Lo Bosworth, simply because of her aqua Chanel purse, which matches so perfectly and pulls the look together. But what do you think?

+ Who wore this French Connection dress better — Lo Bosworth or Amber Lancaster?

Justin Timberlake and John Mayer

Justin Timberlake and John Mayer are a pair of preppy dudes. Just look at how they wear their golf clothes! Justin Timberlake spent Labor Day yesterday wearing a blue and orange argyle vest over a collared navy shirt, matching navy slacks and an orange belt when he attended the launch of the Mirimichi Performance Center, an eco-friendly golf course, in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. This is beyond color coordination--it's matching down to the last detail! However, he isn't the only one to show off Prep Power this summer. On July 23, John Mayer preformed for the Today show like he was ready to go yachting, wearing a pastel yellow shirt and plaid blue and green pants. While John Mayer impressed us with the short length of his bottoms, we're not sure that's quite enough to edge out the sight of Justin Timberlake in argyle. But you tell us!
