After Glee's Heather Morris STUNNED on the Emmy Awards red carpet in her gorgeous gold dress by Ina Soltani, we've been on the hunt to see where she's going to turn up next. The result? Nylon magazine! The 23-year-old actress posed for photo shoot for the magazine's September issue, where she shows off the prim-and-proper ladylike trend for fall — big, full skirts, kitten heels, gloves ... that whole thing. And she looked great! We especially love how she paired deep berry lips with a light lilac Marc Jacobs dress and leopard heels by Jimmy Choo. But Heather Morris isn't used to looking so glam. As she told Nylon: "I don't like to make myself look pretty — I have a hard time with that. I know how beautiful fashion is, and I like to look good, but I have a hard time figuring it out." But after we saw her in these pictures and the Emmys, we have a hard time believing that!

La Roux's Elly Jackson.

La Roux singer Elly Jackson landed a full feature in the latest issue of Paper magazine, and in it she explains her androgynous style, which has come to be her signature look (which we love!). The article is pretty long, so we've scanned it for the most important things you should know:
• Elly spends £30 (or $47) on hair products when she's on tour. Yes, there is no price too high for good hair!
• Elly calls her hairstyle a "ginger quiff."
• Elly likes oversize menswear and Gucci loafers. Good taste!
• Elly hates the outfit she wore in the "Bulletproof" video: "I don't like those clothes now, either. I would never wear any of those clothes, ever. But I guess that shows how much you can change in a year, right?" But those neon clothes were so cute!
• Elly will never wear high heels: "I remember people saying, 'One day you'll wear high heels.' Well no, I f------ won't. It's such a cliché to say, but it's just who I am. It's never going to be a different way." Don't give in!
• Elly says her style is important to give a different perspective: "It's really important for young girls because there isn't anything else. If you're not into that very exposed female look, what else is there? Apart from looking up to boys, which is what I did. I was always looking up to men, which is probably why I was all weird."

Ke$ha poses for MTV Style.
Photo: Circe Baumgartner/MTV
Ke$ha, one of the presenters at this year's Video Music Awards on Sept. 12, always seems to catch us off guard with her fashion choices. Whether she's lathering her whole body in glitter, painting stripes of blue across her face (and lips) or going out in public with animal masks on, this girl isn't afraid to throw on whatever she wants. But, when MTV Style caught up with her recently, she revealed that everything she does is pretty calculated. Watch the videos below to find out what she thinks of glitter, her style and her stage outfits. Plus, Ke$ha reveals her entire beauty routine, like what happens after she wakes up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy.
+ KE$HA LOVES GLITTER, AND GLITTER LOVES KE$HA
"Right before I go onstage, I lather my body in baby oil and cover my entire body with a shield of glitter. Because it just pops! It just looks great! It's really hard to get the glitter off. I've just given up. I've accepted that it will just be there. It's in all my suitcases, it's usually in my food, in my drinks. Sometimes when I pee, it's in the toilet. I don't know how it got there."

Natalie Portman sure loves to wear strapless purple dresses! Last night the 29-year-old actress attended the Venice Film Festival to promote her new movie Black Swan wearing a strapless deep purple dress by Miu Miu and a pair of satin champagne-colored pumps. Alas, Natalie Portman has worn similar looks before. In 2008 she wore a strapless, ruffly Lanvin dress to the Cannes Film Festival in France, and last November she wore a belted strapless purple dress by Jason Wu to a screening of Brothers in New York and punched up the look with a bright yellow clutch. Her affinity for strapless purples dresses just goes to show, when you like a certain style, you can wear it over and over and over again!

Anne Hathaway and Emma Watson's new hairstyles.
Anne Hathaway pulled an Emma Watson and chopped her hair into a pixie cut! The drastic change can be attributed to Anne's part in a new movie, One Day, which is filming NOW in Paris. That's the opposite of Emma Watson, who chopped her hair because she was finally done with filming for the Harry Potter movies!
+ Who do you think rocks the pixie cut best — Anne or Emma? This is a tough one!

Whitney Port of The City can count plenty of fans who love her style. But Michiel Steur, the person who created her fansite Whitney-Daily.com, went one step further and crafted a 20-page online magazine dedicated to Whitney's life and style named Whitney Magazine, which just dropped its premiere issue online this week.
Steur, a student who is based in the Netherlands, said he created the online mag as a special project for the site, but will continue to produce issues in the future (the next one is going to be entirely dedicated to her style). "I think Whitney's style is very creative," he told us via email. "She really knows how to match clothes and still be very original! People are very interested in dressing the same way as Whitney does."
In the premiere issue there is also an interview with Whitney herself, in which she comments on her rise to fame: "I never expected the famous aspect to be as big as it is!" she told the magazine. "It is so surreal to think I started as a measly Teen Vogue intern and now have my own line, which is featured on a TV show worldwide, so bizarre and sometimes I feel I am not worthy of all of it." So modest!

Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge and Lo Bosworth

Summer is the best season to wear white clothes, and the ladies from The Hills and The City — Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge and Lo Bosworth — sure know how to wear white right. Whitney Port attended a Kiss For A Cause event in Hollywood last week wearing a white Camilla and Marc dress and Jimmy Choo shoes. Whitney added color to the look with her makeup — a saturated, glossy cherry pout. What a good look for her! So much more serious than the printed dresses she threw on for most of the season. Earlier this summer on July 27, Audrina Patridge wore a strapless white dress for The Hills series finale party in London and finished the look with strappy silver heels, large hoops and beachy wavy hair. Lo Bosworth also went for white at The Hills: A Hollywood Ending series finale party in Hollywood on July 13, when she wore a white halter dress by Tadashi Shoji, which she matched with a Swarovski clutch and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Jazmine Sullivan and Mary J. Blige

Mary J. Blige and singer Jazmine Sullivan appeared on BET's 106th and Park yesterday, both wearing standout sunglasses. Mary J. Blige wore a pair of black aviators--nice, simple and functional. Meanwhile Jazmine wore a pair of round oversize black shades with gold balls along the rim. Well, those are...different. How bright was that studio?!
+ Which sunglasses do you prefer — Mary J. Blige's aviators or Jazmine Sullivan's out-there pair?

Every week we take a look at the hottest in celebrity shoes, and this week's group slipped on plenty of black Christian Louboutin footwear. Nicole Scherzinger wore peep-toe patent leather Christian Louboutins to an Emmy Awards kick-off party last week, while Jessica Alba slipped on the Tinazata 120 by Christian Louboutin for the Los Angeles premiere of "Machete." Then, "The Hills" star Stephanie Pratt slipped on a pair of Christian Louboutin lace ankle booties when she attended the Los Angeles premiere of "Going the Distance." These ladies prove you can wear black shoes any season!

While everyone is still obsessing over the Emmys (ourselves included), let's take a quick breather to recognize the amazing leopard spottings that happened this weekend. First, Kylie Minogue wore a strapless gown by Dolce & Gabbana when she attended a party in Water Mill, New York, on Saturday. For accessories, she skipped bracelets and earrings, and instead went for a chunky gold necklace, and it was MAJOR! The next day, Chloë Sevigny attended HBO's post-Emmy party in Los Angeles wearing a leopard-print mini dress by Lanvin with long sleeves, which she paired with a small red clutch by Amanda Pearl and chunky black shoes by Christian Louboutin. Again, jewelry was minimal, save for a killer chunky necklace. What does this prove? Even though leopard looks great on its own, sometimes it just needs some gold to make it glow.
