The 'Jersey Shore' cast has come a long way since the show first premiered on MTV in December 2009. And their styles have evolved as well. As we wind down from last week's finale of season two, we're taking a look at the transformations of each star. Today we take a look at Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio. How did he go from Shore to Superstar? Let's take a look …

Another day, another Jersey Shore style transformation. While Sammi and Snooki both visibly changed a lot in the year since the show aired on MTV, the boys weren't as chameleon-like. Take, for instance, Pauly D. His style has remained quite steady this year, despite more attention and more red carpets. One of his favorite looks has not wavered one bit — a plaid shirt, jeans, and high-top sneakers. The only difference? He's tanner. How Jersey of him! But take a look in this gallery of Pauly D's style transformation and see for yourself.

Do you think Pauly's style has gotten better?

When Kanye West's short film "Runaway" debuted on MTV over the weekend, one element that had nothing to do with music became the focal point of the movie: the glorious wings that transformed model Selita Ebanks into a phoenix. They were so striking, for their beauty and intricate detail, that we found we couldn't take our eyes off of them. The man behind those wings is costume designer Martin Izquierdo, who is acclaimed for his work in the theater, and who you may know as the designer of the Victoria's Secret wings. We caught up with Martin today to find out the whole story behind the wings, starting from Kanye's vision and ending with the film you saw. Find out everything about the wings from Martin Izquierdo himself, below.

Who got in touch with you for this project/how did it come to be?
Kanye called. He wanted to talk to me about the wings. He had visions of what he wanted, and we went through three or four different variations before we arrived at what was filmed.

What were the earlier versions like?
Earlier versions had more to do with color. Because [Kanye] had wanted different colorways, we made samples of different colorways. And, with Phillip [Lim]'s help, we arrived at the colors that we got. Originally, he wanted turquoise and teal and touches of yellow. So, with Phillip's help, we toned it down to be more fashion and less contrast.

Do you sketch out the wingspan first?

How is the frame of the wings created so the wings stay up?
We mold this material around a model's figure, and then that supported the wings. It's a heat-manipulated thermoplastic material. With this, it's able to bend it and bend it so it's the right shape. I had to do the structure in sections so it would be able to articulate, so she was able to curve her back and sit down and twist.

How was her wingspan (seen best in the banquet scene) created?
There were extensions made [for the original structure], and then the wings were manipulated by puppeteers. We made them with rods inside, so then they could use other rods and control them without being seen. It needed two puppeteers — one per wing. Or, I suggested three puppeteers — I thought one should be behind her back to support her, while one on each side moved the wings.

How did the wings stay on her body?
These were just able to be taped on to her body, so there were no straps on her body. They were wig taped — it's what men use to glue their toupees on, or in the theater, it's what you use to put on beards and mustaches.

How heavy is the entire piece?
Not very heavy — not more than 5 pounds.

What type of feathers were used? How were they dyed?
We custom-dyed all of the feathers — coque feathers, pheasant feathers, goose feathers. The white pheasant feathers are 3 or 4 feet long, and we gold-leafed some of the tops. That means putting an adhesive and using thin sheets of imitation gold on top of it.

How many feathers were used?
In feather terms, by the time we cut away the parts that aren't used, we used 15 pounds of feathers. We only use the tips of them, and most of the feather was discarded.

Did you create her feather outfit as well?
We sent feathers so the makeup person could glue them onto her body. I made a structure that cupped just below her breasts, and I wanted the feathers to cover her body. Rather than having a hard shape there, I wanted feathers to cover. In our conversations, I mentioned to Kanye how it would be great to have the breasts and her private areas covered with feathers.

How long did it take to create the wings?
After we got the design down, it took two weeks.

How closely did you work together with Kanye West?
We worked very closely. He was here at least twice a week — he always wanted to be involved every step of the way.

Were you on set during filming to tend to the costume?
I wasn't there for the filming because they shot in Europe.

What were your favorite shots of the wings in 'Runaway'?
I love the shots of the camera looking down on her, and the shots of her face when she was crawling. You could see no visible support of how the wings were on. Usually, there are straps on the shoulder to hold the wings on, but these were all molded and shaped to the curve of her back.

Where are the wings now?
I think that Kanye has them, or his production company.

Had you worked with Selita Ebanks before at Victoria's Secret?
I used to design with Victoria's Secret, and we worked together again with this. It was nice to see her in a different world. She added a lot to the film. And she was so open about it all that I was very impressed.

How did you start making wings?
It started when I first designed the wings for the Broadway production Angels in America. That gave me a high-profile introduction to making wings. After the success of that production, I designed wings all over the country for other productions, so I was fortunate. Jeffrey Madoff [director of Victoria's Secret commercials] — I designed scenery for him, and he introduced me to Victoria's Secret, and I did the wings for them. I've been very fortunate.

Is every pair of wings slightly different?
Yes. It's always interesting because I don't want to repeat myself, so I try to do something different every time. Except for the classic wings that are meant to look angelic. I always like to have fun with what I do.

What's the next project you have coming up?
Halloween is our big time of the year. Right now we're making costumes for Miss Universe, Miss USA and Heidi Klum.

What's next, beyond Halloween? Anything more with Kanye?
I look forward to working with Kanye again. I hope he keeps me in mind. We'll see what happens.

Holy Shawn Johnson, the World Gymnastics Championships happened this week! The best gymnasts from around the world convened in Rotterdam, Netherlands to compete in the 2010 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. These ladies amazed us with their twists, jumps, and rolls, not to mention their ability to whiz in midair with their toes to their ears. But the coolest part of watching it had to be the leotards. Each country designed a colorful, bright, amazing look — all the qualities of a good stage costume seen by our favorite performers. But don't just take our word for it. See the complete breakdown of the leotards at the World Gymnastics Championships below.

Chris Brown's new music video for his latest single, 'Yeah 3X' dropped today on, which features Chris Brown at a block party dancing his feet off. His moves include backflips, front flips, and side flips, all of which show off his ability to still dance even in midair. But what we're looking at, of course, is his style. Chris Brown had three-and-a-half outfit changes — half because he took his shirt off at one point, so it's not a full change — proving that sometimes block parties requires multiple kinds of outfits. His looks ranged from a sweatshirt to a button-up shirt to a salmon-hued blazer, Kanye-style. Check out all of his looks below.

Chris Brown joins the navy! Here we see him in a navy sweatshirt, dark blue denim, white sneakers, and white tee underneath his hoodie. Oh, and as you can see, he likes to wear sunglasses, even at night.

This look is definitely more buttoned-up. Chris Brown pulled on nice black slacks, a vest, red skinny tie (with a tie tack!), white button-down shirt, and black and white sneakers.

While belting out his lyrics on the fire escape, Chris Brown went for his third outfit change of the video: a hot pink/salmon colored blazer (similar to the one Kanye West wore during Fashion Week), with a white tank underneath, white shorts, and several gold chains. As you can see, even though it's night here, he decided not to wear his sunglasses in this scene, like he did before.

And the shirt comes off! Same outfit, no shirt. The shorts and blazer combination is actually quite preppy, but sans a shirt, preppy he is not.

This close-up scene confirms he is shirtless.

You know who had awesome style in this video? THE LADIES!!! When Chris Brown swoons over a girl on his block during the video, we couldn't help but love the woman's cute teal blue romper. It's a cute summer outfit!

The backup dancers also looked great. While they matched with Chris Brown, they definitely held their own in black pants, a white tank, and black suspenders. Way to steal the attention, girls!

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi in New York on Oct. 20.

Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi looked the shiniest we've ever seen her last night, when she attended a charity event at Senses New York Salon & Spa in New York (that's her favorite hair salon) wearing a sequin-covered strapless purple dress. The sparkly dress is by designer Sherri Hill, who is quickly becoming Snooki's go-to designer after the star wore the designer's creations to appearances on David Letterman, Regis & Kelly, and Jimmy Kimmel. We think Snooki looks awesome in this dress, which is style #2226 ($350 on To finish the look, her hair looked impeccably straight, Sammi-style (which is good since she was at a salon!), big silver hoops, a rhinestone bracelet and ring, and of course, she was as bronze as ever. But our favorite: She paired her sparkly dress with the best accessory of them all — a leopard-print manicure.

Whitney Port, star of MTV's The City, lounged on the beaches of Hawaii last weekend and brought three separate swimsuits with her. While basking in the sun with her boy toy Ben Nemtin of MTV's The Buried Life, she wore (1) a black bra-top bikini with gray trim by Rosa Cha; (2) a blue bikini with ruffle trim by One Teaspoon; (3) and a black one-shoulder bandeau bikini with splotches of pink and purple on it. Our favorite look on her had to be the third one, which is currently available in purple for $55 on With its one-shoulder strap and paint-splattered pattern, this bikini is definitely different than your traditional swimwear.

The 'Jersey Shore' cast has come a long way since the show first premiered on MTV in December 2009. And their styles have evolved as well. As we gear up for the finale of season two (airing tonight at 10/9c on MTV), we're looking at the transformations of each star. Today we take a look at Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. How did she go from Shore to Superstar? Let's take a look …

We've been looking at the style transformations of Jersey Shore cast members all week, and today we've come to one of the biggest transformations of them all — Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. When Snooki first emerged, she popularized the pouf and mixed it with orange tans, thick eyeliner, heavy bronzer, and pale lips. But over the past year, she tweaked the look so it's sleeker, got bangs, kept her straggly ends trimmed, and dyed her hair red (twice). As for clothing, she hasn't ditched her signature leopard print, though she is wearing more flattering clothes that still show off her Snooki personality. Overall, we're calling this year a continuous upgrade for Snooki's style! But take a look in this gallery of Snooki's style transformation and see for yourself.

Do you think Snooki's style has gotten better?

As we gear up for the finale of season two, we're looking at the transformations of each star. Today we take a look at Vinny Guadagnino. How did he go from Shore to Superstar? Let's take a look …

Jersey Shore's Vinny Guadagnino has been wearing printed tees since the inception of the show, and judging from his yearlong style photos, he's not stopping anytime soon. We tracked 19 of Vinny's top looks in the past year, and he wore tees with fancy designs in more than half of them! However, since we were looking for a transformation, we found one — he's moved beyond Ed Hardy tees (which he wore in January) to more shirts with sayings on them, such as "I ♥ Soccer Moms" and a band shirt for The Who. Way to add a twist to classic Vinny style! But check out all the photos of Vinny's fashion from the last year and see for yourself.

Kat DeLuna at the Elie Tahari grand opening on Oct. 19.
Photo: Getty Images

Christian Siriano's fall 2010 runway collection included an accessories collaboration with Payless, and he produced awesome platform pumps and bejeweled boots for the runway. But when the Project Runway alum converted the runway looks for the mainstream (shoes that are currently sold on, sadly the ornate details and super-tall heels got lost in the mix. We thought his runway shoes were gone forever — gasp! — until we spotted Kat DeLuna in a pair of Christian Siriano's fall 2010 runway shoes last night at the Elie Tahari boutique opening in New York, proving superstars get things we only dream about. But, hey, at least someone gets to wear them!

Audrina Patridge and Partner Tony Dovolani.

Jersey Shore's Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino may have gotten kicked off Dancing With The Stars last week, but Audrina Patridge is still holding on strong. On last night's TV-themed episode, The Hills star gave a nod to her MTV career by dancing the rumba to The Hills theme song, "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. How fitting! But, since we're looking at style, this week's outfit seemed to be the most revealing yet. Audrina wore a bubblegum pink bikini that sparkled, covered up (barely) with a sheer pastel pink robe, and finished with a matching pink rose in her hair. This outfit reminds us of the colorful bikinis she used to wear on The Hills, and since she danced to her old show's theme song, we liked how the outfit matched the MTV reference, as skin-baring as it was.
