Harry Styles channeling Keith Richards for his performance on 'The X Factor UK.'

Many moons ago, in early 2012, there were rumors afloat that young Harry Styles would be taking on the role of Mick Jagger in a Rolling Stones biopic. There were many similarities between the two: the hair, the love of blazers, the colorful turtlenecks. However, after last night's performance on The X Factor (where One Direction got their start, BTW), Harry seems to be channeling a different Stone. Any guesses? DING DING DING! It's Keith Richards!
Harry's love of scarves as headbands is no secret. Dude's been wearing them for months. While that accessory choice in itself is very Keith (with just a touch of John Mayer), Harry furthered the resemblance last night by wearing a cross earring in his left ear. Umm, Harry, when exactly did you get your ear pierced? Did Zayn do it, Parent Trap-style, with a lemon and sewing needle on the tour bus? Considering your every trip to the tattoo parlor is documented, I'm not sure how you flew under the radar and got your first piercing? Unless, maybe, it's a clip-on?
If there's one thing we know about Rihanna, it's that she never met an accessory she didn't like. Where most might shy away from a headband you wear across your forehead or hoop earrings big enough to be chokers, she's embraced both in the past year with open arms. Her grill game is anything but conventional, and she's clearly down to experiment with headgear. Her latest aesthetic exploit? The Flandana, the winter-perfect brainchild of brother-sister duo, Beau and Haley Wollens. We caught up with Haley earlier today to get the #facts about Rih's Flandana (which you can cop for yourself for a cool $32)!
Ke$ha in the music video for "Timber."
Photo: Pitbull's Facebook page
After performing "Timber" together for the first time Sunday night at the American Music Awards, Pitbull and Ke$ha released the music video for their song via Pitbull's Facebook page yesterday. And it is SAUCY. Basically, it's kind of like they took two different music and spliced them together to look like one big global party. In the first, Ke$ha has a sexy hoedown in a saloon with a bunch of Coyote Ugly-types, while the second features Pitbull doing a lot of sexy dancing at a pristine beach with a ladyfriend. There's also some stray sharks swimming around, but they aren't very sexy at all.
Miley Cyrus loves her some pasties.

Okay, Miley Cyrus' 21st birthday technically isn't until tomorrow, buuuut she'll need time to sort through these pasties and buy a pair. Pasties have recently become a big part of Miles' ~look~ (IRL and on Halloween), so we figured we'd collect 21 pairs for her as a gift. She doesn't have to wear all (or even any) of these pasties on her birthday, but, if she wants to, she'll have enough for every hour and still have three hours to spare—just sayin'. She has many birthday outfit choices.
There's a lot to take in, so we've divided the pasties into three categories: basic essentials, Miley-centric, and birthday specialties. Now, let's take a look so Miley has time to pick some (or all) of them up!
Demi Lovato showing off her ear cuff at the premiere of 'Frozen.'

Demi Lovato arrived at the premiere of Disney's new animated movie, Frozen, wearing one of the year's most popular trends: hair dyed to match the color on the movie's poster. JK, she was wearing an ear cuff! Tucked away under her messy blue bun, was a gold cuff that snaked up her ear and complemented the gold tassels that adorned her black Altuzarra dress. Demi joins Jennifer Lawrence and Cara Delevingne and a grip of other PYTs in the cuff club: these accessories have spread among models, actresses, and musicians and now deserve a major role in the lives of regular peeps (perfect holiday timing, TBH).
Ke$ha’s jewelry collaboration, Kesha Rose by Charles Albert, has been on shelves for a few months now. Any Animal will tell you that it’s totally weird, which is both a compliment and a testament to Ke$ha’s ability to translate her ~unique~ style sensibilities to an entire line of accessories. The pieces are broken up into mini-collections and are stacked with stunning stones, spikes, blue roses (her signature symbol) and penises. Yup, penises. Big, small, on rings, earrings and a necklace, the cartoonish male genitalia is undoubtedly the most *achem* recognizable item in the bunch.
Mariah Carey, gloves, and fan on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Last summer, Mariah Carey's accessory of
choice necessity was an arm sling for her dislocated shoulder. She had many glamorous sling options, including a feathered one, a lace one, and a rhinestone-encrusted one. Now that she's largely healed, Mariah seems to have traded in one arm accessory for another: gloves.
Mariah appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night to promote her new single, "The Art Of Letting Go," sporting lace and leather driving gloves. While the slings are no longer necessary, Mimi still has nerve damage in her right hand, which is why she's been wearing gloves. She reveals that she likes them, though, and is willing to give them "a moment." Glove makers, prepare yourselves for a rush of feathered glove orders. Have rhinestones on standby, too.
Katy, Miley and Nicki rock Chanel chain belts.

Most people buy belts to help hold up their pants up or cinch their waist in an over-sized outfit. Celebrities, however, are not most people. Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna (see below) have all recently been spotted wearing Chanel chain belts that definitely serve the purpose of #FASHUN over function. I mean, the way these dangling designer links are typically worn—slung low, multi-layered and/or over already snug garments—these “belts” are actually a lot closer to like, really expensive necklaces for your hips.
Of course, no matter how you categorize this particular accessory, it will consistently portrait luxury. A seemingly average outfit is instantly upgraded by the addition of a draped, chain belt and if you happen to have one with those iconic double-c's, well, feel free to flip your hair. (Politely, of course.)
It's only fitting, right? If going sans shirt AND bra is a trend, you have to find some way to cover up your ladylumps given, y'know, laws. Enter pasties. Nicki Minaj used black plus signs to finish off her Fifty Shades of Grey Halloween look while a sparkly purple pasty was integral to Miley Cyrus' "Lil Kim circa the 1999 VMAs" costume.
Lady Gaga in London.

Working in Times Square on Halloween can be confusing, because it’s like, "Oh, look! Everyone’s wandering around in costumes." But wait—are these people in costumes because it’s Halloween, or are they wearing costumes because it’s just another day in Times Square? IDK. Same goes for Lady Gaga. Case and point, the photo above: is she channeling geisha style because it’s ~finally~ Halloween, or is her Asian-ish get-up just another outfit in her over-the-top wardrobe? Again, IDK. But regardless, that giant conch-shaped parasol is pretty great, and we definitely appreciate the nod to "Venus" in the form of a new prop.
