Beyonce Gets Another Custom Blue Ivy Nameplate Necklace

Amidst all the basketball games, deals inked, and new album chatter, it's easy to forget that Beyonce is simultaneously raising a little Blue Ivy. Leave it to Bey herself to remind us, though, that she's "strong enough to bear the children, then get back to business" — or perhaps, more fittingly, the other way around. She and Jay try their best to keep baby Blue out of the public eye, but even just a little Instagram of some new jewelry is enough to jog our memories of one of 2012's most anticipated arrivals.

Would You Wear An Earlace (Earring + Necklace) Like Lady Gaga?

The earlace phenomenon is back, y'all! The earring-necklace hybrid, which connects a chain between both earlobes to create—you guessed it—a necklace, made its first major appearance on Rihanna in 2009, but now it's making an oh-so-bold return to popularity. Just yesterday we spotted Lady Gaga in Moscow sporting a layered chain earlace complete with safety pins that hooked onto her ears (ouchies!). She finished her look with an embellished fur-covered military hat, a sheer cut-out black dress, and oversized sunnies. (Also, please note that her hair is straight-up HIGHLIGHTED with glitter. NBD.) Now, should we be scared about this trend resurfacing? Well, that's up to you to decide! We've noticed huge retailers stocking these bad boys left and right, like this classy earlace set from ASOS (above), which includes studded chandelier earrings complete with a detachable neck chain. (Getting three accessories for $70 is kind of a steal, no? *shrugs*)

Best Grills Of 2012

This is it, folks. 2012 is coming to a close, so we're taking a hot ~~minute~~ month to count down all our top style moments throughout the year. So far we've dived into the best celebrity nail art, top fashion magazine covers, most awesome Instagram selfies, most memorable facial hair, and best band style—but we're just getting started! So sit back and relax as we reminisce about all our favorite style moments of 2012, will ya?

Sure, every season accessories manage to make a huge mark in the fashion world (see: that ridic Chanel hula hoop bag), but 2012 seemed to take a different turn in the accessories department. Instead of a celeb flashing their spendy bag on their shoulder, that dough has seemingly gone straight, well, to the mouth. That's right—athletes, rappers, and pop stars all wanted a piece of the gold grill action, so we've picked the best grills that have popped up this year alone. (Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about the classic go-tos like Lil Jon, Nelly, and Lil Wayne—we're focusing ONLY on the fresh additions to the grill game.) Let's get into it!

U.S. Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte wasn't known for just winning medals, but also for all the metal he sported in his mouth. His controversial platinum grill, which proudly displayed the American flag across his teeth, almost stripped him of his bronze, so we gotta give up for his unrelenting dedication to sport some seriously sparkly bicuspids. U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!

This summer, Kristin Cavallari announced that she was creating a shoe capsule collection with Chinese Laundry, but now it's actually, really, finally here. Eeee! It's no surprise the ex-Hillsie was tapped to create her own line since she's always rocking the most killer platform stilettos, and when she hosted a launch party right here in NYC, it was filled with JUST that. Her collection includes six mostly-pastel options inspired by her style and what she likes to wear, according to WWD. There's embellished flats perfect for everyday use, a signature go-to nude pump, a party-ready mesh ankle bootie, a pointy wrap-around stiletto that looks perfect for work, an ankle-strap pointy heel to step it up a notch, and a cute-to-boot ballet flat with a bow rope detail.

Miley Cyrus Shows Off Her '80s Versace Shades: Here's How to Get The Look

We first suspected something was up when Rihanna rocked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last month in vintage Chanel circle-shaped shades, and now Miley Cyrus confirms it: round sunglasses are officially experiencing a resurgence, people! Sure, we're all for square, oversized, and classic aviators, but Miley's old-school Versace sunnies that she posted last night have single-handedly convinced us to invest in our own John Lennon-inspired frames. The singer tweeted, "80s Versace" #obsession" and she's definitely not the only one in love with the retro accessories. But while Miley's limited-edition version might be a little hard to score ourselves (trust us, we've tried!), there are PLENTY of near-identical versions out there if you're craving some instant gratification.

In the same breath, it's also no wonder they're constantly breaking style ground, even when they're off the clock. What fringy fashion are these ladies pioneering this time? Both Mother Monster and Rih are making a case for a new vacation must-have accessory: the hole hat.

The Olsens Collab With Damien Hirst On $55,000 Backpacks

It must be fate. Just this morning we were digging ourselves out of an internet wormhole of retro Mary-Kate and Ashley Youtube videos, and now we've gotten wind of some seriously jawdropping Olsen news that we absolutely HAVE to talk about. The actresses-turned-CFDA winners have debuted a brand new capsule collection of super luxe backpacks in conjunction with Damien Hirst. The Row designers and the contemporary artist collaborated on nine different styles of the carryall, embellishing the label's signature black patent Nile crocodile leather backpack with Hirst's quirky-cool designs. It's an awesome concept, sure, but just like all the other swoon-worthy pieces from The Row, the bad news is, it's gonna cost you. A lot. If you thought the Olsens wouldn't dare to top the $39,000 price tag on their other (controversial) backpack, think again...because they totally went there. The limited-edition collection of bags is listed at online design store Just One Eye for "price upon request." We called, and it retails for a cool $55,000. Gulp.

Ke$ha's New Jewelry Line Will Include Skulls And Human Teeth

If there's one thing we've learned about Ke$ha over the years, it's that this girl LOVES her accessories (see: studded hair, epic gold earpiece, and consistently over-the-top music vid style). Get ready, because now the singer's putting this signature "more is more" approach to good use with a brand new jewelry line that represents pretty much all of the above. She's teamed up with Charles Albert on a mixed-media collection of rings, bracelets and necklaces featuring everything from arrowheads to sharks to skulls. She's EVEN taking cues from that teeth headdresswith an "edgy and raw" piece made out of metal cast human teeth. Wait...what?!

We're Obsessed With Zebra Katz And His 'IMAREAD' Cap

It's hard to believe that just mere months ago we had absolutely NO idea about the general awesomeness that is Zebra Katz. But lucky for us (and everyone with an internet connection), times have officially changed, and nowadays it's tough to scroll through Tumblr, Twitter, or pretty much any music blog without spotting the New York City rapper and his debut single "IMAREAD." In less than a year, the recent signee to Diplo's Mad Decent imprint has firmly cemented his music industry takeoff status, opening for Lana Del Rey and Azealia Banks earlier this summer and racking up remixes left and right. So what's the next logical step? Invading the fashion world, obviously. If you don't believe us, just ask Rick Owens.

Kristin Cavallari Is Designing A Jewelry Line!

Along with that epic, never ending Lauren/Stephen love triangle, here's one thing we'll always remember from Laguna Beach: Kristin Cavallari's killer choker game (click here for a refresher). And while we may not have realized it then, the '90s accessory staple has TOTALLY come back— so who knows, maybe she was officially onto something all those years ago. Kristin knew what was happening then, and now she's putting that jewelry sixth sense to good use for the masses with- wait for it- a brand new jewelry line! The reality star-turned-new mom has joined forces with GLAMboutique.com on a collection of rings, bangles and necklaces...all priced at a surprisingly affordable $7-$100. Not too shabby, right?! Oh, and her business partner Pascal Mouawad is also the man behind Nicole Richie's super sucessful House of Harlow label, so clearly the guy knows what he's talking about (including what we'll be dying to add to our jewelry stash come 2013).
