Jared Leto In Lady Makeup Or A Lady In Jared Leto Makeup: Which Is More Impressive?

Around these parts of the Internet, Chrissy Mahlmeister is our resident Commander-in-Chief of all things Jared Leto. From his recent absence of eyebrows to his one-time mullet and difficulties with knits, she has it all committed to memory and organized in pristine little Oxford manila tab dividers. HOWEVER, given my preoccupation with the style world's bizarro underbelly (Ex. A, B, and C) and a deep appreciation for makeup artistry, I'm borrowing the reins momentarily for a very important question. Which is more impressive: Jared Leto in lady makeup for his upcoming role in Dallas Buyers Club OR this lady (a.k.a. selfOblivion) who made an INCREDIBLE tutorial for Jared Leto makeup?

RIP Jared Leto's Eyebrows, We'll Miss You

Um, Jared Leto? Is that you? *rubs eyes* Today when Terry Richardson posted pics of the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman on his blog, we barely recognized the typically scruffy-faced singer slash actor. He shaved off his ENTIRE FACE, people. Beard, mustache, brows—the whole shebang, and we're still in shock. Before you start to get worried, though, he ditched his facial fuzz for a role in Dallas Buyers Club, so we gotta give props for his serious dedication to the craft. *golf claps* In October, Jared sported a full beard and brow-age with the same slicked-back hair, but he gave off a more approachable, chic-woodsman vibe (if that's a thing). Today, his chiseled jaw is in FULL effect with a only a smudge of eye makeup below his lower lids. We have to admit we kinda miss those fuzzy bad boys framing his baby blues oh-so-perfectly.

Get Alexa Chung's Black Leather Nails

As the nail art scene continues to grow, we're certainly seeing no shortage of fun textures to play with on our tips. We've already tried colorful caviar nails, fuzzy velvet manis, and now—drum roll—comes leather! We were tipped off to this amazingness thanks to Alexa Chung. She tweeted, "Aaaaannnnnndddd thanks @nailsinc for my leather nails! #kinky" to which we IMMEDIATELY hopped on Google to find out what "leather nails" actually entailed. As it turns out, leather nails TOTALLY exist, and it comes in a easy-to-apply packaged set to try out ourselves. Eeeee!

While the status of Justin Bieber's IRL girlfriend may be up in the air, J.Bieb's Girlfriend perfume is rock steady and gets a press reboot just in time for the holiday season *WINK* with its very first commercial! Where Girlfriend is the "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" next-step from Bieber's Someday debut scent, the ad spot for the new fragrance is similarly more mature. It's not mature in, like, a Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Burberry Body way. We just mean that Bieber and the new fragrance take one appropriate, teenage-sized step away from Someday and its whispered promises and luxury ice cream sundaes.

Guys, we can't stop spotting brocade print EVERY. WHERE. From Marc Jacobs to Anna Sui to the vintage Versace resurgence, there's certainly no shortage of baroque-inspired fashion this fall. Miley Cyrus Reveals Even Shorter Shaved 'Do

Not to be all dramatic, but Miley Cyrus' platinum blonde pixie cut was kind of a life-changing decision for her. We can't stop applauding her for taking the plunge into such a fashion-forward style, but this week when we peeped Miley out and about in NYC, something looked a little different. Her typically forward-swept bangs were gone, and the shaved sides of her head seemed a little blonder than usual. The MTV Style team discussed the is-it-a-haircut-or-is-it-not situation for (literally) 20 minutes, trying to decide, if IN FACT, she lopped off more strands or if she just styled it differently, but the side by side comparison (above) gives us definite proof that she trimmed her hair even shorter than before!

The Best Turkey Day Nail Designs That... Actually Involve Turkeys

Listen, we know what you're thinking: "Are they seriously trying to make literal Thanksgiving nails happen?" Yes, yes we are. Sure, you can do fall-themed nails all season, but we only gather around a table once a year to eat our FACES off, so why not celebrate it? Better yet, why not give a hat tip the main star of most T-Day dinners: the turkey. We surely don't give the 'ol bird enough thanks as it is, so we thought it would be appropriate/awesome to dedicate an entire nail post to them. (Is it sad that this is already starting to make us hungry?) Up first are the experts at Wah Nails. They created a design with not one, but TWO turkeys on them, complete with a pilgrim and some corn. Yeah, we're just gonna go ahead and bow down now. WEARENOTWORTHY.

Nicki Minaj And Christina Aguilera Are Blonde Bob Besties At 2012 American Music Awards

Two of the biggest names in colorful hair right now are Nicki Minaj and Christina Aguilera. Nicki's wig collection covers more hues than a deluxe Crayola crayon box and Xtina seems to be switching up her tips at break-neck speed. Given these ladies' history of technicolor tresses, you can imagine our surprise when they BOTH showed up at tonight's 2012 American Music Awards with way subdued (okay, for them anyway) platinum blonde bobs. *rubs eyes furiously through triple-take* Duhhhhh, WHAT?! And then they even posed together with their matching flaxen 'dos backstage!

I Forced Everyone (Even Justin Bieber) To Use Tyra's Smizing App

As Tyra Banks continues her quest for world domination, she can officially cross "Make the entire world smile with their eyes" off her to-do list. The model/talk show host/reality judge released a Smize Yourself! app this week that, well, does exactly what you think it would do: forces you to smize. Basically, it works like this: You pay $1.99, Tyra gives you a quick pep talk on how to smize (key points include: Use good lighting, have a dead mouth [seriously, she said that. DEAD. MOUTH. #zombie], and to think of something "you REALLY desire," which, in my case, is Doritos), and then you jump right into it. You line your face up with the outline, snap a pic, adjust the markers, and voila! You're supposed to look like a model. Unfortunately, that didn't happen for me. I tried it and thought, "Whoa, am I normally this asymmetrical and deformed or did the smizing app do that?" and forced my co-workers to try it. Then, I posted their pics on the internet for everyone to see. BAHAHA. (JK, love you dudes!)

Peep Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday Fragrance Commercial!

We've been in a tizzy ever since Nicki Minaj revealed her Pink Friday fragrance bottle in August. She's been releasing SO many goodies over the past few months we can barely keep up! First, her perfume (along with body lotion and hair mist) hit stores nationwide, then she revealed her first Pink Friday ad featuring a head-to-toe Barbzed-out cotton candy pink tutu ensemble, and last night, she debuted her first fragrance commercial. Spoiler alert: It's amazing. Her beauty game is out of CONTROL, and we kind of love seeing Nicki stripped down to just her skivvies.
