Dear Justin Bieber,
Listen, man. We know you're super busy on your Believe World Tour. And we know you're going to be saddled up on that grind through the summer. We're fully aware that your voice and your ability to perform are your livelihood, so you need all the free moments you can get to rest up and take care of those golden pipes and fancy feet. (Can we say you have fancy feet?) BUT BIEBS! (Can we call you Biebs?) Your HAIR is totally another huge part of your miraculous YouTube-to-international-superstar fame machine. You've since shed the 360-swoop "Bieber Hair" of your youth, but that hasn't altered our fascination with your locks' every windswept switch and product-aided kick-ball-change. That's why we're humbly asking you this teeny, tiny, truly infinitesimal favor: can you, like, start a morning hair Tumblr already, or what?
Not to be weird, but we're kiiind of Lauren Conrad hair experts. Over the past couple years, we followed the former Hills star as she dyed her strands from blue to green to everything in-between, and just today Lauren debuted bright pink locks! Judging by her Instagram, it looks like she and a friend traveled to India or Nepal for the annual Holi Festival (aka the festival of colors), which is celebrated by throwing colored water or powder at each other. It looks like LC got some direct hits as the party went down because she posted a pic of her face completely covered in green and red paint. As it turns out, the paint didn't wash out as planned (oops!), and LC was accidentally left with bright pink strands. She Instagrammed a photo of her hair with the caption, "So apparently it doesn't wash out... Looks like I'm sporting pink locks for the rest of this trip."
Dakota Fanning works pink ombre hair this week and in 2012.
Photo: Splash News
Colorful ombre hair was THE beauty trend of summer 2012, with fans like Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and Dakota Fanning riding this rainbow wave throughout the season (and inspiring everyone else to do the same!). But while Demi and Sel may have reverted to more natural shades after a few weeks, Dakota's clearly still feeling her pink hue from last year— so much so, that she's brought it back! It's hard to believe that it was last January when we first spotted the Very Good Girls actress showing off her dip-dyed watermelon locks out and about in Los Angeles. Keeping the rest of her hair a natural blonde, this ends-only approach gave the star an effortlessly edgy vibe that's wearable enough for everyone too nervous to go all the way. In other words, this 'do is an image practically cemented into our memories, so it's no huge shock that this recent snap of Dakota working an identical style naturally caused a double take.
Ciaté's Chalkboard Manicure.
There are bazillion things in this world we can think of that are better than nails on a chalkboard *shudders at just having to TYPE it*, but nothing quite directly offsets it like Ciaté's forthcoming Chalkboard Manicure. A product of the UK-based nail juggernaut, the Chalkboard Manicure is the latest of Ciaté's line of Wow Kits—a series of box sets including all the necessary elements you'll need to achieved highly-specialized, bonkers-looking styles like their caviar and colourfoil manicures.
Rita Ora, Hayley Williams, Vanessa Hudgens, and Whitney Port wear their hair in raver pigtail buns.

All praise be to Rita Ora, Hayley Williams, Vanessa Hudgens and circa 2011 Whitney Port. This raver pigtail bun steez just might be the answer to all my summer hair woes. Maybe I'm too impatient. Maybe I'm not tonsorially dexterous. Maybe it's just my own bad luck, but MAN, trying to style my hair in the summer is a virtually impossible feat. Back me up if you feel me. You're hot, you sweat at the sight of a curling/flat iron, you're running around a bunch because your body's all hopped up on the vitamin D you were missing by hibernating all winter, and your hair. is. a. mess. Enter Raver Pigtail Buns™.
Yoko Ono and a still from "Make-Up Tips For Men."

In the words of John Lennon, "Ooooooh Yoko." Venerated, and, some would say, notorious conceptual artist Yoko Ono is up to her usual tricks once again, unleashing her signature evocative, intellectual, and frankly pretty wacky artistic vision unto the world with her partners-in-crime-as-of-late, Opening Ceremony. To complement her err, handsy menswear collection Yoko made a video tutorial providing a series of "Make-Up Tips For Men," which include, but are not limited to, "When you see a rainbow in the sky./Breathe it in/And make your room into a rainbow room." Listen up, boys.
Nicki Minaj's killer beauty game up close.

We don't mean to be dramatic, but Nicki Minaj is straight-up dominating the beauty industry. She launched her second Pink Friday fragrance less than a year after it debuted and created a custom lip color for MAC—not to mention she WERKED it as the face of their Viva Glam campaign. Even though she's about to launch her first-ever fashion collection, we can't help but want to know all the teeny, tiny details about her beauty life. Luckily, British mag Hello! caught up with our favorite rapper to ask all our BURNING questions. And, yes, she even discussed the "clothing" she designed for her perfume bottles. Check out highlights from the interview below!
Sorry to say this, but we're jerks. We've seen Spring Breakers before its official theater release this Friday, and we cannot stop thinking about it. Here's why: It stars good-girls-gone-bad Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens and Rachel Korine who are so desperate to get away from their college town that they'll do whatever it takes to get money to go on spring break. (And we mean anything, see: guns, ski masks.) Oddly enough, we can sort of relate because, um, it's DISMAL outside, and we're straight-up dreaming of sunny beaches, cut-off shorts, flip-flops—and a little adventure. But instead of, erm, committing crimes to get our spring break fix, we're doing the next best thing—painting our nails! From the trailers, paparazzi sightings, and movie posters, you can already tell it won't be your typical spring break movie, so sit back and relax while we explain why these manicures are the most badass (and beach ready!) manis you need to cop ASAP. Up first—a neon green and pink stiletto set that perfectly mixes together downright illegal criminal activity and SPRING BREAAKKKK!! WOOOOOOO! The gold bullet is a nice touch, too.
Rihanna performing during her Diamonds World Tour, and a face chart of her MAC makeup look.
You might remember when we had a veritable freak out over Rihanna's collaboration with MAC and her "RiRi Woo" lipstick (I mean, it's perfect). Well, we've been in a constant state of freak out ever since, what with her epic tour looks and the news that Rihanna for River Island will have a second season, but now we can put all of our excess energy to good use! Vogue got all the details on Ri's Diamonds tour look, which was conceived by MAC senior makeup artist Christopher Del Castillo, and highlights her "RiRi Woo" lip color. It's not a stretch for Rihanna to wear a red lip as the foundation for her tour look — Ri has become known for her impeccable crimson pout, and we love the idea that MAC built a whole look around her signature.
Nicki Minaj's newest fragrance!

Nicki Minaj is taking her fragrance franchise very seriously, y'all. It all began last summer with the release of her first-ever Pink Friday scent featuring a bottle in the shape Barbz. We oohed and ahhed over the super cool pink wig atop a shiny gold bust sporting a KILLER white bustier, but just recently, she took it to the next level by adding custom "Couture by Minaj" outfits, like, to the bottles. We started to side-eye Nicki's obsession with her Pink Friday fragrance, but today, we were hit with news that she released another version of her oh-so-infamous scent. Before you get all judgey, though, you have to hear Nicki out. She said, "My fascination with changing my look is a way to express myself creatively. Pink Friday, my first fragrance, is a reflection of me. While introducing a unique collectible bottle, I wanted to give my Barbz a special edition fragrance to wear, adding a bit of dimension and playfulness to the original scent." Oooh, now it's all starting to make sense!
