Azealia Banks, Grimes

Azealia Banks gets hairstyle inspired by Grimes "W" Magazine look.

You really just have to love Azealia Banks. The cheeky lyrics, the trademark mischievous glint in her eye, the mermaid hair for days. Azealia is a bonafide style star in her own right with designers like Alexander Wang and Karl Lagerfeld posting her up as a new muse, flocking to have her front their campaigns or play a show at their homes, AND YET she's not too big to appreciate when other ladies wield exemplary style. We especially love it when AZ takes it far enough to emulate other girlies' steez like with this self-described genie hair the native Harlemite admits is inspired by another MTV Style darling: Grimes!

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus tweets a picture with Tarte Cosmetics.

We have our eyes on Miley Cyrus. The sum total of her admirable dedication to fitness in lead-up to her forthcoming wedding day plus that seeeeriously dynamite cover spread for Marie Claire has trained our sights and feelers squarely on the life and times of Billy Ray's little girl. In addition to following along as Miley live-tweeted her most recent hair cut and color, the fruits of our eagle eye have also made us the happy witnesses of a Miley-approved beauty routine (possibly brought to you by Tarte Cosmetics?). Miley tweeted the above picture yesterday with the caption "It's easy as 1...2...3 (4)"!

Union Jack Nail Art

Photo: Via P&G

As you may (hopefully!) remember, last week we caught up with the lady behind all those killer Olympic nail designs, Ms. Sophy Robson, and she dished out allll the deets on what it's like giving top athletes the most badass manis. We immediately fell in love with her nail designs but, um, we don't live anywhere near London. In fact, the more we thought about it, there are tons of ladies who can't even get their hands on a good nail artist in their area! So, we asked Sophy to explain step-by-step how to get an Olympic-themed manicure at home for all us stateside folks. Of course she wanted to do the Union Flag (British pride!), and we willingly obliged. Also, even though she suggested using only Max Factor colors, we ain't choosy! You can pick whatever red, white, and blue polishes you already have laying around in your closet, and, if you're anything like us, we KNOW you have tons of shades to choose from. So, what are you waiting for? Check out how to get a DIY flag manicure below in just six super easy steps. (P.S.- You're welcome.)

First Aid Kit

A festival-goer at Lollapalooza on Saturday
Photo: Jesse Lirola

Yesterday at Lollapalooza, it was hot, humid, muddy, AND there was a tornado warning evacuation. In other words, not exactly the best beauty conditions. Despite all of these, uh, obstacles, the Lolla crew still turned out a strong makeup game at the festival both before and after the massive storm. From bright pink to red to even flashes purple, statement lips with a matte finished dominated the crowd- not to mention, definitely stood out from the rest of the dirt-soaked pack. Cat-eyes, colored liner, and glitter (on face, arms, and body) also ruled... and you can bet THAT'S due to the dance party lineup last night, which began shortly after the storm passed. Santigold, Calvin Harris and Avicii crammed into three hours? Yes, please!

Looks like Rihanna has something extra to smile about today - you know, other than her epic tropical vacation. Ri's Rebelle perfume, the sophomore follow-up to her sweeter Reb'l Fleur fragrance debut, appears to be KILLING IT across the pond! According to Daily Mail, Rebelle is the UK's fastest-selling celebrity perfume, selling over 2 million bottles since its February launch. The British paper also reports that at this rate, Rebelle is on pace to sell "a record-breaking 4 million by the end of the year." WOW.

Snooki Lipstick

Snooki wears her new 'Snookilicious' lipstick.
Photo: Via Ka'Oir Cosmetics

We don't know about you guys, but when we hear the name "Snooki," we immediately conjure up an image of the mini meatball decked out in head-to-toe leopard print with bronzed skin, long black waves, a serious smokey eye and, of course, frosted pink lips. We've discussed the lips-that-are-lighter-than-your-skin phenomenon (the verdict is still out on whether it's totally fierce or a total fail), and it looks like Snooks is bringing her much-talked about makeup trend to the masses. The former Jersey Shore star is releasing her first-ever lipstick with Ka'Oir Cosmetics called "Snookilicious." The baby pink (heh, good one momma-to-be!) lip color comes in a matte/satin finish inside a black tube with her signature scrawled across the front. The lipstick currently retails for $21.99, and is available for pre-order right this second. We have to admit, though, that we're actually sort of into this color because it has no hint of high-shine gloss or metallic glitter that makes a traditional frosted lip gloss so cringe-inducing. But, like, what's in frosted lipstick that gives it that high-shine glow? We needed to find out.

Sophy Robson Nail Artist

So, the Olympics are still happening, and yeah, the U.S. has won 18 gold medals (so far), which is AMAZING and GREAT and everything, but despite all that, there seems to be another part of the games that people can't stop talking about—the nail art. We've already showed you all the killer designs that athletes have sported thus far, but haven't you been wondering just HOW every competitor got their hands on such mind-blowing manis? Well, as it turns out, one of London's biggest nail artists Sophy Robson (who some have deemed the "Nail Queen") teamed up with Max Factor to develop nail designs that are applied at P&G salons inside the Olympic Village. Niiiiiceee. After peeping these incredible manis all week long, we needed to hear from the nail guru herself! Sophy was nice enough to give us some insider deets on what the nail art scene is like in London during one of the biggest events of the year, and how the Olympic Games could change the nail art world forever.

Lady Gaga launched Haus Laboratories in Tokyo on August 1, 2012.
Photo: Getty Images

Attention world! Just yesterday, Lady Gaga launched the Tokyo hotspot for her Fame perfume and opened the doors for hoards of Little Monsters (to be exact, there were 1,800, according to Mother Monster)to cop the debut bottles of the world's first ever black eau de parfum. LUCKY!! The Tokyo Haus Laboratories don't look quite like their Paris counterpart (listen, we know it was just a short film/advert, but we were really looking forward to legions of shirtless men in leather overalls...also, frothy beakers), but Gaga's Harajuku fans are equally fabulous, if not more so!

'Saved By The Bell' cast, Season One.
Photo: Getty Images

Raise your hand if you're still a little bit (okay, a lot) in love with Zack Morris. Raise your hand if you'd rather chill with Lisa, Kelly, and Jessie at The Max than sit in class all day. Now raise you hand if you're dying to get a Saved By The Bell manicure?! Yeah, we thought so. Turns out you're in luck, because Wet N Wild has rolled out an ENTIRE collection of nail polishes inspired by the '90s classic show. Talk about perfect timing! Considering the House of Style archive resurrection, our Daria addiction, and major '90s throwbacks in celeb street style, the decade totally deserves all the attention its been getting. But while we've shown plenty of love to the fashion side of it all, we've kind of neglected our makeup. This is why we've got a feeling that this treasure trove of six neon lacquers is exactly what our beauty drawers are craving.
