Rihanna Debuts Extra Light Blonde Hair!

Whew, anyone else feeling tired?! It's only Wednesday, and it's already been a whirlwind week in Rihanna-land, between her "#CCcertified" Kaiser tee, her new River Island sneak peek video and then, less than 24 hours ago, the campaign itself. Not to mention, those photos that surfaced yesterday of the singer rocking a platinum bob! Although the 'do later turned out to be a wig, that's not the only hair change RiRi has up her sleeve these days. Last night, she sent L.A. paparazzi into a frenzy with her brand new long, glossy, blonde weave. With a reverse ombré hue and Barbie-worthy waves, let's just cut to the chase and say we're officially obsessed.

Zayn Malik Gets Little Mix Manicure From Girlfriend Perrie Edwards

What happens when you combine One Direction, Little Mix, nail art, and (our favorite pastime!) sleeping?? Look no further than the epic collision of awesomeness above. What's going on here? Welp, first off, our faaaaavorite Brit-Irish boy band member Zayn Malik is SLEEPING *pause for a beat* SHIRTLESS, but more specificially, he's just gotten a prank manicure from his girlfriend, Little Mix's Perrie Edwards. On one hand, we're all, "Fiiiiine, we'll face facts that Z is spoken for," but on the other, the Bieber's Girlfriend-esque first-person perspective of Perrie's snap gives us the opportunity (if even for a split-second) to pretend that this is OUR hand holding Zayn's and OUR evil genius behind his mid-slumber manicure. That is, until take one look at the nail wraps' packaging... DOH. There she is!

High School Literature Transformed Into Nail Art!

Thanks to the release of the star-studded Great Gatsby film (see: Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, and Carey Mulligan) this past weekend, there's been non-stop chatter about the literary classic as of late. Suddenly, we started to feel super nostalgic for all the books we were forced to read in high school (and how we totally didn't appreciate them while we were there...oops). To honor all those awesome English teachers during our most tumultuous teen years, we decided to round up some of the most popular books and transform them into nail art! (Don't worry, there's no quiz at the end.)

Of course, we have to start with the inspiration behind this post: The Great Gatsby itself. This nail artist decided to take the signature blue cover art and reinterpret it into an AMAZING five-part nail design, complete with the floating face, title, byline, and city skyline. We give her major props for the painstakingly on-point replication of the typography and serious attention to detail. Shall we say she, erm, killed it?

Demi Lovato Lets Her Hair Down For 2013 Wango Tango

We know Demi Lovato is a master of switching up her beauty look. One day she could be feeling a bold brow and brunette top knot, the next day, she's makeup-less with new shoulder-length hair. Welp, the recently blonde Demi is at it again, this time confining her beauty acrobatics to ONE NIGHT: Saturday's Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles! Demi started her night at the SoCal summer music kick-off with a sweepy, sophisticated updo on the red carpet. It perfectly showcased her pristine, porcelain skin and that KILLER smoky eye situation. But when D hit the stage later in the night, she opted for a different hairstyle than the one she arrived with.

Hayley Williams Trades Makeup For Face Paint During Radio 104.5 Performance

Anyone who's seen her all-orange MAC makeup collab already knows that Hayley Williams is a TOTAL daredevil when it comes to her onstage performance makeup. If you ask us, the flame-haired singer is one of the few people in the world who can rock bright coral eyeshadow and tangerine lipstick—together!—and not look like she got ready in the dark. In fact, she manages to look, well, unexpectedly awesome?! But leave it to the Paramore frontwoman to push the beauty boundaries yet again this weekend, swapping classic makeup go-tos like winged eyeliner for smudgy paint splashed all over her face and arms. During Paramore's epic performance at Radio 104.5's birthday show in New Jersey, it's honestly hard to tell which was more attention-grabbing: the band's high-flying rendition of "Misery Business," or Hayley's bright blue face paint across her eyes. Who knows, she might be taking cues from previous face paint offenders like Lady Gaga or Ke$ha or even classic icons like David Bowie, but Hayley's clearly owning the look herself.

Demi Lovato Goes Back To Blonde!

Well, well, well. If it isn't Demi Lovato altering her hair yet again. In a little over one year, we've watch the "Heart Attack" singer take her hairstyle the full 360 degrees. The tonsorial acrobatics we've seen from this girl are just...exemplary to say the least. From dying it blonde back in February of last year to getting pink tips to dying those tips blue. *takes deeeeep breath* THEN to bringing back the bangs from her youth to taking her look to a dark brunette, cropping her mane at shoulder-length, and NOW going back to blonde.

By now you've probably peeped ALL the insane Met Gala red carpet looks, but have you seen the nail art?! Everyone from Katy Perry to Rita Ora to Nicole Richie sported super ornate manis that we NEED to discuss. KP matched her embellished Dolce & Gabbana ensemble with equally decked-out nails. She layered blue and pink glitter over gold polish and finished the look with gold pyramid studs and ruby gems. WERK.

Kristen Stewart Confirmed For Several More Balenciaga Campaigns

Whew! We can finally rest easy, y'all—Kristen Stewart has officially been confirmed for several (!!!) more campaigns with Balenciaga, according to The Cut. Due to last summer's, erm, situation with Rupert Sanders, many were worried the Twilight star would be dropped from the French fashion house. Also, Balenciaga's creative director Nicolas Ghesquière (who is BFFs with K Stew and acquired her for the campaigns) left last fall, making us/the internet TWICE as skeptical about her future with the brand. In a recent article from 032c magazine about Nicolas' departure, Kristen confirmed her devotion to him and said, "He is a reminder of how f****** annoying everyone else is. It’s not easy to walk a line that not every single person in the world is going to get in a second. Nicolas is the sort of person who loves swimming in rough water [...] I’ve felt the happiest I’ve ever felt wearing these clothes. I’ve also felt androgynous and rigid. Sort of like you’re wearing a f****** building."

Rihanna's RiRi Woo MAC Lipstick Sold Out In 3 Hours

Dang, y'all. We totally freaked out when we heard that Rihanna was collabing with MAC Cosmetics back in February, and, as it turns out, everyone else was too! Just a few weeks ago, MAC announced they were kicking off the release of her collection with the retro red matte RiRi Woo lipstick, and yesterday Rihanna let her Navy know her signature shade was officially available for purchase on MacCosmetics.com. The rest, as they say, was history. Basically, the lipstick sold out in three hours flat. YUP. Girl knows how to sell some makeup!

Katy Perry Launches Third Fragrance: Killer Queen

ZOMG, Y'ALL. Just when we thought Katy Perry was all tied up in makin' music and drinking Red Bulls with Sia in the studio, she drops a maaaaajor morsel of news concerning her style empire. After taking a year or so to focus her beauty endeavors on false eyelashes, Katy will be coming out with a brand new FRAGRANCE! The pop powerhouse teased the announcement last night via Twitter with a photo of the bottle in some sort of scepter situation with the accompanying caption: "OK! I have been working on my 3rd fragrance for over a year & want to unveil the look NOW! What do u think?!" Ummm, do you even have to ask?? WE. LOVE. IT. Granted, we haven't actually smelled it yet, but judging from KP's past work, we're confident she won't disappoint.
