Lorde at her MAC launch.

We've been eagerly awaiting the launch of Lorde's MAC collaboration since we heard about it in March, and it'll be in our lives so soon! While you can't buy the two products—a deep plum lipstick named Pure Heroine and a black eyeliner called Rapidblack—until next month, Lorde joined MAC last night to celebrate the collection and perform.
Whitney Port has chopped off her trademark long hair just in time for summer, y'all. Welcome to the "short hair, don't care" club, WP! Perhaps she was inspired by the heat wave that's beating down on L.A. right now? Waist-length hair is a lot when it's 90 degrees, TBH. In the past, Whitney has come up with creative ways to get the bulk of her hair off her neck, but this cut does the work for her, no elaborate braiding required.
One of Nicki's wigs?

There was a a joyous time in our lives when Rihanna changed her hair practically every day. There was even a time when we wondered if she got a hair cut in between fashion shows at Paris Fashion Week. It's been a while, though, since she's changed hair color. She's had it black since last summer, but it looks like summer 2014 is going to be full of colorful hair, thanks to Nicki Minaj. Last night RiRi attended game six of the NBA playoffs in a pink pixie wig.
She debuted the looks on Twitter, which just, TBH, isn't the same as Instagram. Sure, we still got a preview of what Rihanna was wearing before the rest of her non-followers, but it was just different. There was no filter. No caption that made me LOL for days. Bring your Instagram back, Rihanna, I beg of you. Please.
Miley Cyrus performing on her Bangerz Tour.

Since her post-twerking rise, Miley Cyrus has become the queen of unexpected outfit changes. Just on her Bangerz Tour alone, Milez is working with some massive suitcases containing outfits from nearly a dozen different designers. And she just added more for the European leg. But as far as her makeup goes, that’s been the one consistent piece of her look—until last night.
Over the past few days, Miley has been Instagramming her new bedazzled “dirty hippie” face-paint look with hot pink stripes and rhinestones. At first we thought it was just a celebratory look for her mom's birthday, like the seemingly endless supply of hats and masks she has with her on tour, but last night Miley performed wearing her new makeup. If Miley were at Coachella, she’d blend right in. But considering the festival is a month behind us, we’re guessing another influence is at work here.
Katy Perry and her new green shade in London.

If you've ever dyed your hair an ~unnatural~ color, you know the challenge that comes with trying to maintain vibrancy. Katy Perry, it seems, has decided not to fight the inevitable, but embrace it—at least in her life off-stage. As you probably know, before her Prismatic World Tour kicked off, Katy dyed her hair "slime green." Her hair was bright at various events—even at Coachella—but it seems that Katy, like any plebe, has given up on keeping it florescent. It simply requires too much work if you're into showering more than, like, once a week, TBH. For her performances, though, Katy has found the perfect way to keep it as bright as ever.
Demi Lovato performing 'Neon Lights.'

Demi Lovato is celebrating the #Demiversary (one year anniversary, natch) of the release of her last album, Demi, and has big plans for the next month, including new videos and live performances. She just released footage of her Neon Lights Tour in the form of a performance of "Neon Lights," in which we get to see some of her tour wardrobe and, most important, IMHO, how her pink hair looked up on stage. Guess what? No surprise—it looked incredible.
The video was obviously shot towards the end of the tour—Demi has her half-shaved scalp—and between her hair color, style, and embellished coat, she looks pretty tough up there. She also has leather leggings on, which just, like, knocks the entire look out of the park.
When you think of Miley Cyrus, two things come to mind: her tongue and her platinum pixie, right? Imagine our utter shock this morning then, when Miley posted this picture of herself as a redhead. She's not only repping a new color but a longer length and bangs. If her tongue were, IDK, in her mouth I might've had to do a double-take. That's the ~transformative power of wigs~, y'all.
Nadia Aboulhosn, Tess Munster, and GabiFresh.
If you're unfamiliar with GabiFresh, here's a quick rundown: On top of being our very first MTV TJ, Gabi is a style blogger with a focus on fashion for "younger, trendier women sizes 14 and up." She shares the outfits she wears, where to buy the pieces, as well as general style advice. Yesterday, she posted a video that caught our eye—not simply because it features a Beyonce song, but because of its positive message.
Gabi recruited Nadia Aboulhosn and Tess Munster—fellow bloggers and models—to create #everyBODYisflawless, a new video for Beyonce's "Flawless." The video, Gabi explains in her post, is to let everyone know these ladies are supportive of one another and that you don't have to be a certain size to claim flawlessness.
