Remember when we caught Selena Gomez splashing around in a giant pink-and-purple fish tank? She told us (via Facebook) that it was all for her then-yet-to-be-released debut fragrance, and we happily waited for the forthcoming photographs. While we were sure the products of this shoot in a vat of girly hued liquid would surface for the packaging and marketing graphics, we pulled a knee-jerk facepalm when Sel tweeted about her latest perfume ad because *DOH!* we had almost forgotten that girl was still due to release a COMMERCIAL for this thang!

Betty Boop Is Lancome's Latest Muse!

Models, watch your back, because a new crew of cartoons is ready to steal your thunder. Okay, just kidding- Kate Moss really doesn't have anything to worry about- but there's been a major uptick in animated fashion stars recently, and we're totally loving this comic resurgence. Remember back when Kermit the Frog showed his stuff for Brooks Brothers, Miss Piggy worked it in InStyle, and Bambi went center stage in Stella McCartney's Fall '09 ad? Yep, all of our retro faves are having a serious style moment, and now Betty Boop is the latest character to get into, uh, character. The '30s-era icon is the model AND muse behind Lancome's Hypnôse Star mascara, sporting a strapless minidress, sky-high heels, and her trademark flirty gaze in the campaign.

Is Iggy Azalea House Of Holland's New Face?!

With her supermodel stature, trademark swinging pony, and the impressive ability to seriously work it in front of any camera or crowd, it was only a matter of time, really, before Iggy Azalea got snatched up as a bonafide model. Shortly after signing a deal with Wilhelmina Agency- the ink is practically still drying!- we've already heard peeps of the Australian stunner's first campaign. Yesterday she posted a photo to her Facebook page with the caption "Summer's here! Hayyy House of Holland," and turns out the love is mutual. House of Holland tweeted "Between me and you...HoH x" and linked to the EXACT SAME PHOTO, leading us to believe these two must be cooking up something good.

Mulberry's Fall 2012 Campaign Channels 'Where The Wild Things Are'

We'll admit that we're a sucker for a REALLY good fashion campaign, and when we laid our eyes on Mulberry's fall 2012 ads featuring our fave fashion model Lindsey Wixson paired with furry, over-sized forest dwellers, well, our hearts exploded. Mulberry Creative Director Emma Hill used "visions of explorers, mysterious stories and fantasy travels" as inspiration for the shoot, which was photographed by Tim Walker. But, um, is it just us or does this TOTALLY remind you of Where The Wild Things Are? We're kind of loving this ode to one of the best children's book ever (RIP, Maurice Sendak ), especially with the addition of Ms. Wixson frolicking in the forest sporting jaw-dropping ensembles. I mean, a head to toe tangerine ensemble? Yes, please!

Is Lana Del Rey The New Face Of H&M?

Puh-LEASE let this rumor be true! Word on the street (er, internet?) is that Lana Del Rey signed a contract to be the new face of H&M, according to the New York Post. SQUEE!!! While we haven't heard an official report from H&M reps, a source claims that Lana is "shooting an H&M campaign in New York.” Iiiiinteresting. While we have NO doubt in our mind that Lana would be a fantastic face for the brand, we're still a wee bit skeptical because of the total lack of details at the moment. This will be her first official foray into the fashion world as the face of a brand, which we are SUPER excited about, and if it's as successful as her Mulberry "Del Rey" bag, H&M will certainly have a hard time keeping their shelves stocked!

Blake Lively Is Gucci's New Face!

Let's be real: we never really had any doubt that Blake Lively would be bored after Gossip Girl ends next season. But in addition to fronting multiple magazine covers at once AND a starring part in the upcoming film Savages, the actress has added yet another role to her already-stuffed schedule. She's just been announced as the new face of Gucci's next fragrance, "Gucci Premiere," joining fellow Hollywood PYTS like Evan Rachel Wood as the face of the Italian brand. According to Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini, Gucci Premiere is "inspired by timeless Hollywood glamour and the iconic leading ladies of Hollywood's golden era," and we've got to admit- with her beachy-blonde hair, killer red carpet style, and major acting chops, Blake's the perfect mashup of retro meets modern. Oh, and even MORE awesome news: keeping in line with the perfume's Old Hollywood theme, the campaign's short film will be directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, AKA the creative mastermind behind Drive. Um, we haven't been this excited for a commercial since...forever!?

Amanda Seyfried Endorses $13,000 Face Cream

$13K can buy you a LOT of things… a car, a down payment on a house, and approximately 53 pairs of Air Yeezy 2s (that is, if you buy them at the $245 retail price). Um, it can also buy you a really, really expensive jar of face cream from Cle de Peau Beaute. Supposedly the most expensive moisturizer IN THE WORLD, the over-the-top concept sounds almost like a joke- but turns out the ridiculously pricey product has a real campaign, complete with a celeb spokesperson. They’ve tapped Amanda Seyfried as the face, and the Lovelace star (and ex-model, we might add) works her trademark good looks in these ultra-glam ads. According to the website, “As the exciting embodiment of luminous sophistication and natural radiance, Amanda Seyfried captures the very essence of Cle de Peau Beaute. She is pure of heart, vibrantly alive, and brings joy into the lives of others.” Okaaay, then. But the craziest part of the whole ordeal? It's SO exclusive, they're only selling three jars!

'Complex' And Reebok Team Up For Eve 'True Classics' Documentary

Back in 2001, I set out to learn all of the words to "Let Me Blow Ya Mind," Eve's badass-lady anthem that also featured Gwen Stefani on the chorus. I had it down well enough to hold my ground in many a high school dance floor sing along, and, although I'm not sure I could remember much of the raps at this point, I'm confident that I could still murder the song in karaoke. Now it's 11 years later and the first lady of rap can still flow like the old days, and continues to sport style that's totally rad. In a new documentary produced by Complex and Reebok, you get to go inside of Eve's past, present, and future through exclusive interviews with her friends, her mom, and even the woman herself. You also get to take a look at the past 10 years of Eve's ah-may-zing style, both in her personal life and in her videos.

Ever since Spring Breakers wrapped, we haven't seen nearly as much of Selena Gomez as we'd like. Sel has been so hard at work filming her next project, seducing interior painters, and promoting her brand new eponymously named fragrance, that her personal photo feed (a.k.a. Twitter, a.k.a. our biggest window into her daily goings on, a.k.a. our LIFE BLOOD) has been relatively quiet. Hopefully, today is when all that changes as she puts on her designer/marketer hat to film the next commerical for her KMart collaboration, Dream Out Loud!

We're big fans of Lourdes-and-mama-Madonna run clothing line Material Girl and have been following the brand since its launch in 2010. Since then, the MG has been fronted by a few different faces (including OG Taylor Momsen), but the latest iteration of Material Girl is the lovely Miss Georgia May Jagger.
