Kristen Stewart in Balenciaga.

This just in: Kristen Stewart will be the new face of Balenciaga's women's fragrance for fall 2012, according to the brand's creative director Nicolas Ghesquière! The Twilight star will front the yet-to-be-named scent and said, "I love Balenciaga fashion because it is incredibly bold and forceful, yet feminine and sexy. I found there was a real creative freedom about this project. I feel blessed and really proud of being the face of this new fragrance." We are SO stoked for this campaign because K Stew is totally high-fashion vixen meets tomboy rocker, which will be absolutely perfect for the new scent. Kristen shared even more sentiments about the upcoming project with WWD and said, "Balenciaga has always stood out to me. Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool. That's the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn't afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable."
Max Irons for Macy's INC.

As you know Max Irons—son to Academy Award-winning thespian and ever-convincing bad guy Jeremy Irons—is a wonderful actor and a very good model. He's a very good model because his cheekbones are so cut up and dramatic that it casts beautiful shadows on the sides of his face. It makes him look vaguely haunted and sad bust mostly SO GOOD LOOKING. I mean, jeez, LOOK AT HIM. It's this freakish attractiveness and easy appeal that prompted Macy's to snatch him up for their in-house brand INC in a campaign that runs the gamut from casual, distressed separates to sharp, sleek, tailored pieces. The series, shot by Walter Chin, begins next month and will be featured on the information superhighway and more than 600 Macy's stores nationwide.
Demi Lovato fronts Aéropostale's Teens For Jeans campaign.

Demi Lovato is joining forces with teen retailer Aéropostale and the action-oriented Do Something organization to spearhead the fifth annual Teens For Jeans campaign! Pairing up with the charitable campaign, Demi filmed a Teens For Jeans PSA urging students to start denim drives at their schools to provide the number one requested item of homeless teens in shelters. What's more, the school that collects the most jeans between Jan. 16 and Feb. 12 will win $5,000, new Aéropostale jeans for every student, and a party for their entire school—a pretty sweet reward for doing a lot of good for your peers.
Our hearts explode when we see the PERFECT combination of music and fashion, so when we discovered punk rockers Green Day would be the new face of John Varvatos' spring campaign, we were MORE than thrilled. We cannot get enough of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool decked out in high-fashion duds, but it's no surprise that John decided to go with a rocker edge when it comes to his campaigns. Green Day joins a long list of rock groups and musicians (think: The Roots, Cheap Trick, Alice Cooper, and Iggy Pop) who have posed for the menswear brand. Here, Billie Joe sports a military band jacket (like Justin Bieber!) and distressed denim tucked into lace-up boots with wild bleach-blonde hair. Tre Cool looks casual-chic in his open peacoat and laceless shoes ensemble, and Mike Dirnt goes a bitttt more classy in a long equestrian jacket and leather boots.
Mila Kunis for Christian Dior.

It's true! Black Swan actress Mila Kunis has been signed to Christian Dior and will be the face of its spring campaign. Her Miss Dior handbag ads (shot by Mikael Jansson) will appear in top international fash mags starting Jan. 15 and will make their U.S. debut in The New York Times come Jan. 29, according to WWD. We could NOT be more excited to see Mila's doe-eyed visage plastered across all of our favorite publications—she's a lady who manages to ooze smoldering good looks but still manages to be the funniest, most approachable gal in the room. (Can you tell we're kiindaa jealous?) "I am absolutely thrilled to be working with Dior. The brand is iconic in so many ways. It defines fashion, elegance, and sophistication," Mila said of the newly landed campaign.
Taylor Swift in a CoverGirl NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara ad.

The crackdown on Photoshop has begun! The latest CoverGirl ad featuring Taylor Swift modeling NatureLuxe Mousse mascara will never run again due to "enhanced post-production" and "Photoshopping" to make unrealistic expectations for eyelashes, according to Business Insider. What? You're telling me Tay Tay's million-mile long lashes aren't real?! Sadface times a million. Procter & Gamble, the parent company of CoverGirl, did disclose in fine print that the image was enhanced but still decided to discontinue running the ad. The National Advertising Division is cracking down on advertising that is misleading to consumers, and director Andrea Levine said, "You can’t use a photograph to demonstrate how a cosmetic will look after it is applied to a woman’s face and then—in the mice type—have a disclosure that says ‘okay, not really.’”

Iris Apfel is one of fashion's most beloved icons. You could call her the grand dame of accessories, a rare bird of fashion (a term commonly used to describe her), an iconoclast, or simply the most stylish 90 year-old woman on the planet. We here at MTV Style call her our style hero, because even in her elder years, she continues to reinvent herself and embrace the new. She isn't afraid of color, bucks trends in favor of what she thinks is stylish, and is always up for layering multiple accessories no matter the shape or size.
Mrs. Apfel's everyday ensembles have been captured on blogs such as Ari Seth Cohen's site, Advanced Style (which, if haven't checked it out yet, is a MUST), and she recently collaborated on an accessories collection for HSN full of googly eye scarves and giant alligator bracelets. Did we mention that she also has a camera crew led by renowned cinematographer Albert Maysles following her around for a new documentary? She doesn't slow down! And now, thanks to MAC cosmetics, her sensational sense of color and style will be coming to beauty, too. We just peeped the new collection (which is full of vibrant colors with names like Pink Pigeon and Party Parrot), and asked Iris herself how it all flew into being.
Listen, Rihanna Navy. You better get those life jackets ready because the Rihanna ship is about to sink after y'all watch this smokin' behind-the-scenes peek at her Armani Jeans campaign shot by fashion photographer Steven Klein. Ri Ri looks all kinds of INSANELY DIVINE as she takes it all off in the backseat of a car, and we still can't get over the show-stopping platinum pixie she's sporting from the previously released ads. Watch (and diiiiiiee) as Rihanna struts her stuff in a vacant New York City parking garage while a few foxy/suspicious men clad in suits ogle her (note: Do not attempt IRL, OK?) being the naughty, pin-up girl/crooner that she is. Ri unzips her amazing leather jacket and uses the backseat of an old -school town car as her dressing room. Um, #werque! (P.S. Did someone mention this being a denim ad?) Rihanna's certainly not the first bleached bowl cut, lingerie-clad mega pop star in a steamy black-and-white Klein-directed video clip, but, duh, we're not complaining. We just cannot stop ourselves from talking that talk about our beloved Rihanna. Go on with your bad self, girl!
Andrej Pejic in a push-up bra ad.

You can see some strange things on the interwebs, y'all! Babies who stop crying when you play Biggie Smalls, a woman with mile-long fingernails, your celeb guy crush parading around in a onesie, but a male model in a push-up bra who looks GOOD, like Victoria's Secret catalog GOOD, tops them ALL!!
To be fair, androgynous model Andrej Pejic is the most undeniably GAWGUS man we've ever laid eyes on (those cheekbones are what the Zoolander stare was MADE for!), and his lithe frame could easily double as a woman's since most models' bra cups don't exactly runneth over. Pejic's breasts, though, don't even exist. (PROOF!) And Hema's mega push-up bra transformed them into a VA-VA-VOOM moment, or at least a full A cup. Yeah, we're going to need five of those.
Selena Gomez shoots her new fragrance campaign.

Just because she doesn't know exactly what it will smell like yet, doesn't mean Selena Gomez doesn't already know the general mood of her to-be-released new perfume. From the looks of this behind-the-scenes shot Sel posted to her Facebook page, somehow a giant fish tank of pink and purple water is involved. In a BIG way. Girl gets dunked (or more likely, hoisted and gently lowered via a Swarovski-laden swing) into a vat of the girly hued liquid for her fragrance campaign.
